Room No. 13 - This suite is where Richard stays as his second home away from Kiel, located in Copenhagen and owned by distant relatives of the Kasper Family (Olaf’s cousin Erna and her son Dagfinnr). The hotel is also walking distance from Sigrid’s home/Aina’s flower shop, making it a convenient location for Richard and Sigrid to hide away from disapproving eyes - mainly her schoolmates and teachers (today people would be really concerned if a 16-year-old girl was dating a 23-year-old guy, but in 1980... probably just a shrug from most [large age gaps were more common in the past], but definitely a closer look from people who don’t understand their unique relationship; Sigrid was immediately expelled from school when her secret marriage was revealed, despite skipping a grade and having top scores; as a Kasper, she was able to finish her education at home). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #hotelroom #bed #intimatemoment #pixaloop

I ended up making both colored and black & white versions. Animated too.🙃 — Richard giving Sigrid his mother’s black crystal skull necklace. - His mother Ida never wore it and left it behind in Richard’s room when she left the family for a younger lover, rejecting her role as matriarch of the Kasper estate; the necklace makes Sigrid the new lady in charge. — The Kasper Family’s emblem is a black skull. Being connected with Death, recruited over the centuries to kill rogue monsters (and occasionally humans), and hired by questionable people to provide knowledge of the occult, the black skull is an appropriate symbol of the family’s dark history and a physical reminder of what happens to anything/anyone that crosses their path. It’s also the nickname for the current patriarch of the Kasper estate (Olaf Kasper, who’s still alive). - A necklace with a hand-carved black crystal skull is the Kasper heir’s ultimate symbol of love, swearing his unconditional devotion until Death separates him from his partner. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #autodesksketchbook #pixaloop #animation #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #mangastyle #animestyle #frauv8_ocs

Glimpse into the dark side of the Kaspers’ family business... I don’t usually draw them in the act of dealing with monsters and stuff related to Death. Richard just got rid of a Siren unfortunately in front of Sigrid. Even though she’s also involved with the world of the mythical and occult, she’s an “herbal healer” (euphemism for “Witch“) like her mother Aina who prefers not killing creatures no matter how rouge they’ve become (they use potions instead as repellent and cures); Richard is well aware how sensitive she is when she sees something dead (she cries over wilted flowers), trying his best to shield her from his work as much as possible. - As monster slayers and grim reapers, Kaspers try their best to not let their significant others have to witness their work if they’re not involved with the same type of business. Freyja is involved with occult weapons making, so she enjoys working with her husband Faustuz as much as possible to see how effective her family’s handiwork is against monsters and the occasional human. Yoko was indifferent when Heinrich resumed the job of reaping with his father Olaf after Richard died - until he brought Faustuz to assist them at only age five (Yoko was extremely pissed - Heinrich never had their son Hansel fight for his life against monsters, so why would he do that to his brother’s only child?). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #lineart #halftone #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #animestyle #couple #malecharacter #femalecharacter #originalcharacter #originalcharacters

Which shade Freyja wore best?💄 And she’s using her husband’s aviators as a fashion accessory again, lol. Hopefully poor Johannes Faustuz isn’t bumping into too many things without them. - I was inspired by an ad for @jeffreestar’s lip colors of all things to make this, lol. I wish I can wear makeup more often, but with sensitive skin and having to wear masks for more than 8 hours each day I work, it’s not very practical (also, I still get acne like a teen and I’m double the age of a teenager; people still can’t believe how old I am because I look at least 10 years younger partly because of my acne). ———— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #pixaloop #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #femalecharacter #woman #redhair #redhead #fashion #lipcolor #aviators #animestyle #animation #halftone #frauv8_ocs

Quick poses of Cedrick Kasper and Tricia Williams wearing quarantine attire. I’d happily wear either of their outfits any day, but what I wear for work is just as comfortable (I usually wear dark leggings with a t-shirt, polo, or soccer jersey, ball cap, and black shoes). I really enjoy quick fashion pose doodles like these, and sometimes I’d want to make a more elaborate version of them later on (perhaps I should do a poll on which of the two deserves a redraw). ——— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalsketch #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #frauv8_ocs #pink #red #yellow #blue #black #teenagers #boy #girl #fashion #activewear

I think my eyes hurt from staring at this guy for too long...😭 Doesn’t help that I also stay up past Midnight for multiple nights.😫 - Besides looking all pretty in pink, Hr. Dr. Kasper has plenty of pour-over coffee and traditional sweets for himself on the side: Baumkuchen, Prinsesstårten, and Strudel. Both Johannes Faustuz and Cedrick have “Odin’s Eye” which requires a lot of energy to maintain, so often father and son will fight over snacks and caffeine when they’re available. Most of the time Papa Kasper gives up for the sake of his son’s needs over his (as any parent would do, plus Cedrick is quickly catching up with him on size as a teenager), making him at high risk of being an easily irritable hangry monster around other people (he’s not called “Hot-Headed Hans” for no reason). — These kind of pics take a LONG time to make - even longer if I put more painful effort of shading and lighting. Part of the time it’s gathering references, other times it’s picking and playing with color schemes (that’s why there’s a bonus cyan blue version here), but it’s mostly the drawing and coloring process that takes so long (especially the drawing when there’s tiny details). - One of them days this old millennial here have to play with REELS using video versions of my pics just for funzies (because why not 😛). Experimenting can be messy, but it’ll be a learning process. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalsketch #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #manbun #glasses #suit #coffeemug #stool #plant #coffeetable #prinsesstårta #baumkuchen #strudel #pink #green #blue #yellow #frauv8_ocs

1980 when PAC-MAN made his debut outside of Japan. - Ever since she was a toddler, Sigrid has always been a fan of the arcade. She’d always beg her mother Aina for a coin and would play for hours nonstop with that one coin. Her classmates at high school think she’s a dork for liking video games, but little kids at the arcade love watching her play. Sigrid was pissed when she saw her high score on SPACE INVADERS was replaced by a new player - especially when she found out that player was Hr. Dr. Richard Kasper, the very man trying to woo her at her mother’s flower shop. Since becoming a couple, Richard lets Sigrid get first choice at the arcade and watches her play - he knows better than making her cry after loosing a hard-played game. - Nowadays, her son Johannes Faustuz has the same love for video games, which was also passed down to her grandson Cedrick. If the Kaspers aren’t busy chasing monsters and treating patients, they can be found competing against each other in separate rooms mashing buttons and wearing headphones. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #pixaloop #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #femalecharacter #youngwoman #1980 #pacman #arcade #animestyle #frauv8_ocs

#dtiys_frauv8 Might as well make it another #dtiyschallenge because why not. Nobody wants to do any challenges I make anyway.😛 - I hadn’t been posting much due to work trying to make up for lost time; I’m there from about 10:30am to 7:30pm 3-4 times a week, so I’m pretty much wiped out at the end of a day. I work for TV/Simulcast (I’m a Graphics Operator; basically I make those things on the screen that displays names, prices, results, etc.), so I’m considered “Essential”. You can say I’m keeping people entertained while they stay safe and quarantine at home, lol. It’s not a job I can work remotely, so... yeah... I’m doing my best being safe with lots of sanitizer and wearing my mask (a face shield might not be a bad idea since I work in a small space). So I really mean it when I say “Stay home”, “Wear a mask”, and “Be nice to essential workers” - I want people to be safe, healthy, and we don’t need anymore “Karens” and “Chads” in the world making it harder for those providing services during this pandemic. ——— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #mangastyle #originalcharacters #characterart #dtiys #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #man #woman #fashion #halftone #black #white #grey #gray #blackandwhite #manbun #glasses #longhair #frauv8_ocs

‼️**DISCLAIMER: NOT A REAL SCREENSHOT ON SLIDE 2!**‼️ I had to repost this pic because originally I had “mamakasper” as Freyja’s username, but it exists IRL; it’s changed to “@fryj_kspr”. I’m not surprised “mamakasper” already exists because “Kasper” is a common name; I only thought of the username around 2016 when I started becoming more active in Instagram, imagining what my OCs would’ve named themselves. These accounts are linked with mine, and eventually I’ll have each of these OCs’ pics posted in their own accounts to help organize what has accumulated in my main account over the years. (Cedrick’s is “@wunderkindck” and Hr. Dr. Kasper is “@not_hrstrom”) - Mama Kasper showing off the family wearing their masks with two of their many critters. ——— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #femalecharacter #man #woman #teenboy #fathermotherson #family #dog #cat #facemask #frauv8_ocs

Quick pic: Cedrick wearing a mask and combed-back hair. Not exactly what I wanted, so I might redraw this. My original plan was black and white with a lot more floral and skeletal details, but ended up with bold lines and CYMKW (Cyan, Yellow, Magenta, Black, White). The bold color scheme reminds me of the early 90s (which is coming back in fashion with a vengeance, making me cringe because it’s literally my earliest childhood memories). ——— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #animestyle #malecharacter #boy #teenboy #blue #pink #yellow #white #black #cmyk #frauv8_ocs
