I’m really in a black, white, and grey/gray mood with my pics lately. Maybe because the world to me right now is just so bland and dark. But that doesn’t explain why these two guys are smiling. Perhaps there’s still a little glimmer of hope in my outlook of life in an age of pandemic and oppression. - I included the original in colored versions in the post. And I just can’t unsee Johannes Faustuz resembling the character Charlotte from “DARK” with his hair down. 😟 (“DARK” is amazing! I remade it - yay! (and a bonus doodle on Slide 3) - Most of you voted for color, but I included a monochromatic version on Slide 4; I used Pantone colors, the colored version with Biscay Green 15-5718 in the background, and both versions using Bone White 12-0105 for their clothes and Moonless Night 19-4203 for the line art. - The original version of this was me smearing brushes around - which usually happens when I’m really tired and unmotivated, which then perpetuates a vicious cycle of disappointment and dissatisfaction (you can see the original version on Slide 5). Eh... Felt like making another one of these mock-up fashion magazine covers - this time with Papa Kasper (a.k.a. Mr. Ström). Got some Steve Jobs vibes with the black and glasses, lol. - He’s been in the background of Freyja’s live blogs from home, getting fans vocal on her social media to talk more about her husband. Freyja immediately got busy fixing up Johannes Faustuz by trimming his hair, powdering his face, and dressing him up in all black for a quick photo shoot to use in her May magazine issue. - Faustuz doesn’t mind getting involved with his wife’s work as long as it doesn’t get invasive and interferes with his own career - which is exactly why he uses his pseudonym “Jonah Fritz Ström” for these occasions. But Rufus McClaine, a photojournalist, is constantly trying to find out Mr. Ström’s true identity; from investigations he knows that Erik Ström never had a son, and that Freyja only has four male cousins, not five, she could of married - therefore Freyja is really Erik’s biological daughter, and she didn’t marry within the family but someone who’s of lower social class. - “DER MODISCHE” (“The Fashionable One”) is the name of Freyja’s magazine. Dr. Kasper, especially when he substitutes for her Biology professor (he’s close friends with Prof. Vinnie DeValeur, who also happens to be his boss’ son); but with the pandemic, she doesn’t have to go to school and he’s not responsible for the curriculum (but it doesn’t mean he doesn’t check on her progress every now and then). Asia is beyond furious with Johannes Faustuz now that she knows who his wife is. He’s going to have a nice long chat with Tyrone about spending more time with Asia whenever he gets a chance - and other personal things to help him with his wife. - Tyrone’s wife Asia has always been a very jealous woman. Her first encounter with Hr. Dr. Kasper was after confronting Tyrone with a strand of platinum blond hair she found in their laundry (the hair was the doctor’s, not a woman’s); from that point on, Asia has never liked him for multitudes of reasons (the way he talks, his lineage, spending more time with Tyrone than she gets with him, eating meat in front of her when she’s vegan, spoiling Queenie with treats every time he visits, etc.). Faustuz is really trying to help Tyrone stay focused on his wife while keeping Asia on her good side by chatting about her artistic talents making jewelry and nail art; he always wanted the Williamses visit his house for a double date, but with the pandemic going on at this time, it’s going to have to wait a bit longer.
