Sigrid Jörgensen-Faustus out in the rain tending to a budding plant. Another fashion era comparison with Johannes and his parents Richard & Sigrid: 1980s suit vs 2020s suit It seems like anything from the 1980s to the 2000s are in and fair game (so basically just rewear whatever you and your family accumulated over the years and / or go to a local thrift shop - there’s more than enough clothing available to choose from and it’s sustainable). The 1980s really loved their suits, especially Armani for men and the female “Power Suit” with the shoulder pads & tailored skirts. Sigrid loves dressing up whenever she gets a chance to wear something that’s not her school uniform, especially gowns & suits to show off her sewing skills; Richard finally updated his wardrobe from the 1970s soon after dating Sigrid to show an effort to keep up with appearances (he normally wears a black robe as Death; when summoned back as a human, he tries to wear new current clothing appropriate for his “adjusted age”). [as Death he’s over 350,000 years old, but as Richard he’s currently ~80] The 2020s suit is more slim (often called “European-Cut”) and in a way has become less formal with the current Pandemic being a big reason (people just don’t want to dress up for work, especially when working at home). “This little glass vial has as much power as a whole 500 ml bottle of activation potion?!” Going back to the 1980s with Sigrid and Richard lying on the green grass in the backyard, looking at and discussing a new version of an activation potion. - Sigrid uses activation potions to access her “Magical Potential” at her academy (Wicca needs an activation potion to unlock their ability to cast spells); Enchantresses can access their magic immediately, thus Sigrid was subjected to bullying and harassment by schoolmates - they would beat her up and steal the bottles of activation potion to prevent her from casting spells. But when Sigrid does have a chance to drink a bottle, her magic skills exceed all of her schoolmates combined - making her the academy’s most powerful student on record (something inherited from her Warlock father, passed down to her son, and now her grandson). “This little glass vial has as much power as a whole 500 ml bottle of activation potion?!” Going back to the 1980s with Sigrid and Richard lying on the green grass in the backyard, looking at and discussing a new version of an activation potion. - Sigrid uses activation potions to access her “Magical Potential” at her academy (Wicca needs an activation potion to unlock their ability to cast spells); Enchantresses can access their magic immediately, thus Sigrid was subjected to bullying and harassment by schoolmates - they would beat her up and steal the bottles of activation potion to prevent her from casting spells. But when Sigrid does have a chance to drink a bottle, her magic skills exceed all of her schoolmates combined - making her the academy’s most powerful student on record (something inherited from her Warlock father, passed down to her son, and now her grandson). To help her, Richard first started concentrating the contents of a single potion bottle into a tiny vial that can fit easily inside a pocket; eventually he developed a capsule for her to swallow before attending school, making it impossible for bullies to target her without getting retaliation (otherwise Richard would start planning out elaborate near-death experiences for each bully before his girlfriend would object).
