2021’s holiday kiss.😘 - Freyja and her husband Hr. Dr. Kasper have been sharing a holiday kiss each year since I’ve been active on Instagram. Which year was your favorite?💋 — #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #man #woman #kissing #originalcharacters #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #ipaddrawing #digitalart #digitaldrawing #christmas #mistletoekisses #holidayseason #autodesksketchbook #red #green #frauv8_ocs

Why am I up so late?!😫 I just can’t leave things unfinished is the problem… It’s another experiment with the #mentalcanvas @mental_canvas app, and this was a fun one - but could have been better if I had more time and effort to tinker with it. - It’s an old red VW Beetle from about 1965-1969 (at the time almost as old as Sigrid herself, and she hated how shaky and noisy it was when riding it); Richard and Sigrid would get a brand new one as a wedding gift in the 1980s (their son Johannes Faustuz still has it in his garage and does occasionally drive it for short errands). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #autodesksketchbook #mentalcanvasdraw #madewithmentalcanvas #originalcharacterart #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #frauv8_ocs #couple #man #girl #red #blue #white #beige #grey #gray #volkswagen #volkswagenbeetle #animestyle

Another #sketchdump of Sigrid and Richard… • Often whenever Aina’s too busy with work at her flower shop, the weather’s bad, or if she really wants to play matchmaker (which was most of the time), she’ll ask Richard to pick up Sigrid from school. Initially Sigrid hated it, but when it means not having to deal with bullies, not riding her bike over five miles one way, a free trip to the university library, and some rounds at the arcade, she quickly took the offer. And as their relationship grew, Sigrid looked forward to having conversations about the latest video games and reaching over to eject his disco cassettes to listen to the latest hits on the radio (Sigrid mostly loves Synth-Pop). • Sigrid studies really hard - she’s the top student at her academy despite not being a “pure” enchantress (she and Aina can’t cast spells on their own and have to rely on plants). But she has her struggles - she’s not very good with English and Mathematics, and if she’s overwhelmed, Sigrid will fall asleep. Whenever she gets to study at the university library, Richard often helps her with her homework. • Sigrid grew more attached to Richard as he continued to visit Aina’s flower shop over the months, occasionally staying overnight if he’s unable to get to his rented hotel room during his travels. It got more difficult when they officially became a couple having a long distance relationship and Richard constantly called overseas. • Sigrid does get a little too curious about what Richard does for a living (besides collecting souls as Death’s incarnation). Richard is an epidemiologist who treats people with diseases caused by curses (Sigrid has a life curse, so naturally he was drawn to her); one of his patients was Freyja’s mother Sonja who was cursed by a troll and slowly dying as she gradually turns to stone. Because of his numerous attempts to make treatments for her condition, Richard has been called a “Quack” by Erik. — #frauv8_ocs #frauv8ocs #originalcharacterart #originalcharacters #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #animestyle #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #man #girl #blue #red #green #pink #purple #comic

It’s November - or #movember with the emphasis on mustaches.🥸 There’s only one OCs that immediately comes to mind when it comes to mustaches: Einar Ström - Freyja‘s favorite cousin and lovely co-host of her TV show “FLASH FASHION”. Einar is Freyja’s third oldest cousin (after Ragnar and Werner, but before Gunnar [Freyja was the only girl in her family]) who loves fashion just as much as her. Einar and Freyja would play Dress-Up with Freyja’s mother Sonja’s clothes and makeup and Barbie dolls as children; as adults, they still love dressing up in outrageous outfits when the right occasions occur - such as award ceremonies and charity events. Because of having red in their hair, most initially think Einar and Freyja are brother-sister siblings (along with Gunnar who also has reddish hair; Ragnar has dark ash-brown hair while Werner is blond like Freyja’s father Erik). Einar also loves flirting with lots of men, especially with Freyja’s husband Hr. Dr. Kasper (he does this because he knows it makes Freyja upset just to tease her; what will surprise him is when Hr. Dr. Kasper will play along and pretend to flirt with him). — #malecharacter #man #originalcharacter #frauv8_ocs #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #autodesksketchbook #blowingkisses #brown #yellow #blue #red #redhair #bowlcut #mustache #suit

There’s Freyja - she’s just been blending in with the seasonal foliage with her strawberry blonde hair, lol. Not exactly what I had in mind with the 3D effect, but it’s something… Just an experiment… I’ll try again with something else later for Freyja - I’m really supposed to be asleep now. 😵‍💫 — #malecharacter #femalecharacter #originalcharacterart #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #frauv8_ocs #man #woman #couple #leaves #fall #autumn #ipaddrawing #ipadart #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #pixaloop #motionleap #mentalcanvas #red #orange #yellow

💀Page 11: Der Sensenmann‘s true form… (And a very pissed off Granger) Death in his true skeletal form surrounded by souls as the summoning spell finally wears off; Granger is beyond upset about getting bit and not knowing her boss‘ personal life despite having a close working relationship with him. — #malecharacter #femalecharacter #man #woman #grimreaper #grimreapers #souls #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #comic #animestyle

💀Page 9: Papa to the rescue! He’s been gone since he was a toddler, but Death/Richard is still very protective of his only son. And with one slash he got rid of the God-ranked rogue monster when it was extremely tiring for the others. — #malecharacter #femalecharacter #man #grimreaper #originalcharacter #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #comic #animestyle

💀Page 5: The fight begins. The Cipactli has extra mouths located in its upper arm joints, making it dangerous when reaching over it. Since being part fish, its weak spot is its neck where gills are; however it’s not easy to get nearby without getting bit or caught in a neck lock. — #malecharacter #femalecharacter #man #boy #woman #grimreaper #grimreapers #cipactli #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #comic #animestyle

💀Page 4: “That’s a Cipactli?!” The Cipactli is just as tall as him at about 200cm/6’6”, but weighs twice if not triple Hr. Dr. Kasper’s weight in pure muscle. No way Granger could of taken it down herself, even if her mother and younger sister came in to help out, because it’s so tall and massive. Thus why Granger brought Hr. Dr. Kasper to fight it. — #malecharacter #man #cipactli #grimreaper #originalcharacter #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #comic #animestyle

Quick trip back to the 1980s with these two in three versions. (Original, Blue, Red) - Sigrid had always been into the current styles of the 1980s, always excited to get her hands on the latest teen fashion magazines to read and copy trends. Richard, on the other hand, has always been behind in regards to his fashion (most of his stuff is from the late 1960s to late 1970s). “If it’s not ripped or has holes, it’s still good” has been his philosophy since he dislikes shopping for new clothes; but when Richard does put effort to pick out more recent looks, Sigrid can’t help but get excited seeing her boyfriend wear something new. — #malecharacter #femalecharacter #frauv8_ocs #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #couple #man #girl #brown #blue #red

A few skin tone palettes I use for my OCs; I use similar colors when using alcohol markers. Some skin tones are trickier than others (especially fair and dark) due to not getting so dark and having the right amount of contrast between colors - if it’s any darker, fair skin turns into medium/olive skin; if dark skin is too dark, you can’t see any important facial details. — #frauv8_ocs #characterdesign #characterart #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #ocs #oc #digitalart #digitalsketchbook #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #autodesksketchbook #colorpalette #skintones #malecharacter #femalecharacter #man #woman

Something orange for October: it’s Cedrick Kasper and the family cat Klimt. October 13th is Cedrick’s birthday, and Klimt was his 9th birthday present from his grandfather Erik Ström; Cedrick picked Klimt because he was orange like his grandfather’s cat Klum (Klimt was also the runt of the litter, making him stand out even more amongst his siblings). As sweet and affectionate Klimt may be, he’s known to cause some trouble bringing in dead or dying critters, drinking out of Papa Kasper’s mug or Stern’s fishbowl, climbing up really high up trees (he’s a Norwegian Forest Cat), or tearing up the family’s emergency supply of toilet paper. As for Cedrick, he’s a young teenage wunderkind training to become a doctor like his father Johannes Faustuz and grandfather Richard, but also has a knack for crafting things like plushies and clothing like his mother Freyja. Being the only child of a Kasper and Ström, it’s not quite yet determined whether he’ll become a full-fledged Grim Reaper or occult weapons distributor/manufacturer; unless his parents have more kids (it’s possible but not likely - we’ll see), Cedrick is under a lot of pressure to choose once he’s 21 (right now he likes being a Junior Reaper, and he has plenty of distant cousins within the Ström family who can take care of things for him). — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #malecharacter #originalcharacter #boy #cat #blue #pink #orange #white #black #grey #gray #red #fashion #bowlcut #glasses #boots #sweater #socks #shorts #skulls #blond

Happy October! 🎃 As Summer refuses to let go and give out one more scorcher before finally transitioning into Fall, here’s a cute #nightmarebeforechristmas #pattern done with marigold yellow-orange. Some souls floating around freely and glowing… - Souls naturally flow together and gather together in large numbers whenever there’s a Grim Reaper nearby. If a soul refuses to be gathered, it’ll have the potential of turning into a Poltergeist and cause physical harm to those who are living; once this happens, a Grim Reaper has no choice but to destroy the rogue soul - unless it finds a way to fulfill its unfinished business without causing too much damage. — #malecharacter #originalcharacter #man #room #couch #table #coffecup #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #autodesksketchbook #motionleap #orange #brown #black #yellow #blue #green #pink #white
