Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds - which is actually the length of this animation. It also has sound! 🔈 - 20 seconds goes by a bit faster if you sing a fun little chorus to yourself. I even made each of my main OCs sing a chorus: Hr. Dr. Kasper sings “Cheri Cheri Lady” when he’s washing his hands before surgery (it’s a very catchy song by Modern Talking, I’ll warn you - even I sing it!😅); his wife Freyja hums “Spice Up Your Life” by Spice Girls; their son Cedrick is not a fan of ‘Sink Karaoke’, but on occasion he’ll sing his ABCs like when he was a little boy. Me? Hmm...🤔 I never really gave it any thought because it depends on what I last listened to. But after mentioning Modern Talking, I apologize if you get any of their songs stuck in your head after looking them up. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #animation #malecharacter #man #doctor #surgeon #washyourhands #frauv8_ocs

I guess it’s unofficially Spring now that we sprung an hour ahead to get some more sunshine yesterday, so here’s Hr. Dr. Kasper with a bouquet of flowers. But we’re expecting lots of rain this week, so...😑☔️🌧 - 3rd slide has the line art, while the last slide has the image I used for color reference. - Yellow is a color I often have trouble with; if it’s not balanced with darker colors or used as a hair/accessory color, yellow will blind you with pure brightness (basically, I like yellow in limited amounts and practical applications). This pic is really pushing my limit with yellow, but I’m okay with it because it has its analogous colors (red, orange, green) with a hint of its complimentary color blue (the line art is actually a navy blue, and the white flowers have a blue tint) to keep it balanced. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #lineart #pixaloop #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #manbun #glasses #sunflowers #redtuxedo #blond #yellow #frauv8_ocs

1 or 2? Enhanced or Original? Comment below to say which one you think is better. - Lately I’ve been feeling burnt out and tired, so I won’t be posting as much until I’m feeling more inspired and refreshed. Cedrick found something in his father’s specimen collection that he just can’t wait to dissect. - One thing about Kaspers is that they can’t contain their eagerness to obtain knowledge by all means, making them quite mad and insane doing so. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #doctor #madscientist #maddoctor #jarredspecimen #animestyle #frauv8_ocs #green

A yellow color scheme. And lots of tension in the pic too. - Yellow is such a challenge for me because yellow is just such a strong color. I like it as a hair color (pretty obvious looking at my main OCs), it’s a nice hint of color for jewelry and accessories, but as an overall color for articles of clothing or backgrounds... it’s like stepping on LEGOs. Yellow needs other colors to tone it back, or otherwise it’s literally being blinded by light. Of course, yellow isn’t the only color I have the same issue with (looking at Pantone color Biscay Green), but if used moderately, it’s not such a terrible thing. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalsketch #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #yellow #red #orange #frauv8_ocs

Colored version. I also included the “original” idea boxed up to fit Instagram’s square format with the line art of both pics. - I might be itching to another compilation of OCs wearing activewear fashion (last slide has one made two years ago). Father and son, Johannes Faustuz and Cedrick, in matching outfits based off of actual clothes; might draw a different version that shows their clothes in their entirety since I had to crop this so it fits in silly Instagram. Also seems like I can’t get over the color red even though Valentine’s Day has been over. At least it’s not an obnoxious bright yellow (*glares and gags looking at Minions and Sweden’s jersey* I’m so sorry, but that shade of yellow makes me cry because it’s such a difficult color to use without hurting my eyes). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #man #boy #teenageboy #father #son #blond #glasses #black #red #yellow #frauv8_ocs

Digital version of Cedrick in the rain. It doesn’t rain often here where I live in SoCal, but where the Kaspers are from, it can rain and/or snow quite a bit. - Personally I like it without effects, but I included the #pixaloop version as the 2nd slide. A nice early spring stroll around Kiel. It’s not often these three are home (their actual home, not Los Angeles) together as a family. - I made this pic pink like sakura blossoms blooming. (Unfortunately I wasn’t able to see them in my trip to Japan since it was December, but they had beautiful red maple leaves at the park, lol.) The coloring process was also inspired by Andy Warhol’s art on the last slide (he’s been a favorite since I was a kid; pop art and anime are my biggest influences). - As for both Kasper guys, I opted to not have glasses since I thought it would cover their faces with the pic being so small; look carefully, and they still have their odd-eyes at least. When it gets small, many details get lost in the whole, so keeping things minimal is best. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #lineart #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #characterdesign #characters #malecharacters #femalecharacter #family #mother #son #father #halftone #pink #blue #black #white

Out sleeping with the dogs... What did Papa Kasper say or do to be out in the Doghouse this time? - The Doghouse is a part of the patio attached to the house that extends towards the backyard where Freyja grows her garden. Since it’s partially indoors, it’s where the family keeps their dogs (mainly Freud) our of trouble and bad weather; it’s also where the dogs usually sleep for the night if they misbehave. Likewise, it’s also where Johannes Faustuz goes to sleep on a makeshift bed whenever he comes home late or if he and Freyja aren’t getting along due to various circumstances; he doesn’t like sleeping apart from his wife, but the dogs absolutely love it when their pack leader is with them. - It’s a simple color scheme and lighting/color study pic this time. All I can say is that it’s very red, like Valentine’s Day red, lol. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #pets #dogs #sleeping #red #colorstudy

Oh Instagram with your silly square format...✂️ - If Cedrick is “The Boy With Odd Eyes”, his father Johannes Faustuz is “The Oncologist With Heterochromia”. Heterochromia is the scientific way of saying odd-colored eyes, and both father and son have it; in some cases, it’s a dominant trait. For the Kaspers, only those who inherit blue eye genes from both parents will get it - almost always one eye being green and the other blue (few times there has been brown and blue eye combinations, like Hansel’s daughter Leisa). Heterochromia for the Kaspers also means they inherit an ability to see the strengths and weaknesses of mythical creatures as well as see hidden beings that could potentially become harmful (such as Ghosts and Yōkai). The ability also allows for Faustuz and Cedrick to have perfect eyesight at the cost of mental and physical energy (this explains their addiction to caffeine, constant snacking, need for power naps, and often being grouchy at the hospital). - I was debating whether I wanted to draw this pic like the last one, but there’s just something about the pencil brush texture that kept me from doing that. Now I’m going to figure my next two pics... It could be sketchy like this, or digitally inked like the others - depending on how the characters are going to be like. - Comment below what you think.🤗 —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #digitalsketch #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #colorstudy #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #blond #shirtandtie #longhair #japanese #german #yellow #mangastyle #animestyle #frauv8_ocs #frauv8

The votes are in!🗳 Cedrick Kasper in Color Scheme 1 was voted top choice, but Queenie Williams and Kimiko Abe had some love too (OCs in 2nd slide). I have pinks and purples planned out for each of them respectively; Queenie will have a tea party theme while Kimiko will have a kawaii Harajuku decora theme. And while planning out this drawing, another idea for Papa Kasper came up since this has a playful pose and vibe. - So wtf is this adorkable kid sticking his tongue out for? What a silly boy. 🤪 The last slide has a photo of a neon green jacket that inspired me. I gave Cedrick’s jacket skulls instead of roses because Kaspers don’t do pretty - they do weird and creepy. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #boy #teenboy #teenager #neoncolors #yellow #green #blue #hoodie #jacket #bowlcut #glasses #japanese #german

Tricia Williams and her boba tea. It’s not a Kasper! Yay! 💙 This time I went with Vincent-Claude DeValeur. ( ヴィンセント・クロード • デバルール in the pic is his name in Japanese, which made me go 😧 looking it up) And he’s French 🇫🇷, so the obvious color I went with was blue. - Vinnie is the Kaspers’ boss’ son and an university professor who teaches Biology, Anthropology, and Intro to Archeology (Tricia Williams is currently one of his students). He’s not much younger than Hr. Dr. Kasper and relies on him for genetic testing on specimens he discovers during his trips, so often times you can see the two of them exchanging conversations during lunch breaks. In occasions, Vinnie will ask Johannes Faustuz to substitute for him for days at a time if an expedition requires his expertise. When he’s not teaching or off examining bones, Vinnie can be a bit of a “Bad-Boy” and womanizer, which annoys both his father and Faustuz whenever he gets into a bit too much trouble - like forgetting to pay a bar tab or flirting with young nurses at the hospital (like Kimiko Abe). — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #colorscheme #colorstudy #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #professor #japanese #french #blue #mangastyle #animestyle #frauv8_ocs #frauv8

And here’s another one! It’s Mama Kasper this time.👩🏻‍🦰 - I wanted to make sure that it’s obvious that it’s not the same language as my last one by using the blue-yellow color scheme of Sweden’s flag (Freyja is Swedish, not German like her husband and son). 🇸🇪 Freyja Ström is the “Fashionable One” for obvious reasons. You can say she’s doing an awkward “JoJo Pose” flashing off that wedding bling on her finger, lol. 💍 If I keep making more of these, the next one in order would most likely be Cedrick or Vincent-Claude, then whoever from there. - Comment below to let me know who should be next - aside from the Kaspers (they’re my main three OCs, but let’s give some love to the others). **Check Slide 2 for a chart of some of my OCs — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #colorscheme #colorstudy #yellow #blue #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #femalecharacter #woman #fashionmodel #japanese #swedish #mangastyle #animestyle #frauv8_ocs #frauv8

It’s another #dtiyschallenge. @doodling.hard #hotncolddtiys - I’m kinda feeling a little bit sad because right after making my last post thanking 399 people who were following me, it dropped down to 398 (it was actually at 400 when I was making it).😂 It’s actually normal for me to loose Followers at the end/start of the month, more so when I don’t post as much content. I try to mix things up with a #drawthisinyourstylechallenge every now and then, but I’m an OC artist so it’s understandable people won’t be interested in my characters and leave. It’s tough being recognized as an artist of any kind in Social Media, so the fact that I even have more than 💯 people liking my work just makes me happy and motivated to keep drawing. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #autodesksketchbook #pixaloop #animestyle #female #femalecharacters #women #drawthisinyourstyle #dtiys #red #blue
