Rewinding back to July 1981 with Sigrid and Richard. No matter how much he turns on the charm, there’s no way in Hell she’s sharing her ice cream when baby cravings hit. - Both Richard and Sigrid wear aviators/glasses, which their son Johannes Faustuz also does. Sigrid is also wearing a green polka dot dress similar to what Princess Diana wore in the 1980s. Richard is wearing a T-shirt with a sailboat and “KIEL” on it, a nod to where the Kaspers come from and where usually in the end of June/early July a large gathering of boats occurs.⛵️ *** Once again, I’m hunkered down. Work has been canceled until the 24th due to a number of people who tested positive for COVID-19. As far as I know, I haven’t been exposed to anyone sick, but with those who tested positive at work being asymptomatic really makes me nervous. And of course I won’t qualify for a test because I don’t have the classic COVID-19 symptoms or had contact with any with symptoms (my allergies, on the other hand, have been driving me crazy). Regardless, it’ll be a two week quarantine period for everyone’s safety. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #pixaloop #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #couple #malecharacter #man #femalecharacter #woman #icecream #pregnant #glasses #animestyle #frauv8_ocs

Looks like Freyja caught her husband wearing only sweatpants around the house again. Hopefully no one else besides family sees him like this or else it’d be really awkward (it’s bound to happen sometime). It’s been really hot lately - can’t blame him for wanting to dress down to the minimum with basics. Freyja doesn’t believe in wearing comfy casual basic clothes during the day, especially when there’s work to be done; she thinks it makes a person sloppy when they don’t dress up for the occasion. ——— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #blond #femalecharacter #woman #redhair #couple #animestyle #purple #frauv8_ocs

#repost of an old favorite pic of Cedrick celebrating Summer with almond milk ice cream because he and his father are both lactose intolerant. - Personally I’ve been craving ice cream more since the pandemic made it harder to shop for groceries. It’s also a big deal for me when I see ice cream made out of milk alternatives because I’m practically lactose intolerant (I can eat small amounts of dairy without a trip to the toilet; yogurt and cheese are much easier to digest versus whipped cream and flan desserts). - And I’m going to try getting some needed sleep before I attempt drawing that new pic I said I would draw on Father’s Day - I’ve been sleep deprived because of a little orange fur-baby. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalsketch #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #malecharacter #teenboy #icecream #summer #sunhat #frauv8_ocs

I remade it - yay! (and a bonus doodle on Slide 3) - Most of you voted for color, but I included a monochromatic version on Slide 4; I used Pantone colors, the colored version with Biscay Green 15-5718 in the background, and both versions using Bone White 12-0105 for their clothes and Moonless Night 19-4203 for the line art. - The original version of this was me smearing brushes around - which usually happens when I’m really tired and unmotivated, which then perpetuates a vicious cycle of disappointment and dissatisfaction (you can see the original version on Slide 5). There’s still something nice about the rough sketch (Slide 7) because of the looser lines compared to the finish versions. ——— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #man #woman #blond #redhair #fashion #pantonecolors #biscaygreen #bonewhite #hat #frauv8_ocs

Meanwhile... (ENDE) - Freyja’s going to give her father Erik an earful seeing he didn’t appreciate the custom suit she had made for him; but she’s happy that Johannes Faustuz found someone else who would gladly wear it (just doesn’t seem like it with that scary look of hers). —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #man #woman #pink #green #frauv8_ocs

One thing Tyrone really remembers about his wife: “Asia likes green.” (This fact was revealed when these two guys went lingerie shopping for Valentine’s Day) - The suit was originally made for Papa Ström, but he never wore it because he hated the color and modern style (modern suits have a slimmer coat and skinny or straight leg pant). Johannes Faustuz happened to find it stashed in the attic collecting dust and thought it might fit Tyrone (“Why let a perfectly made suit go to waste if someone else can wear it?”); the jacket mostly fits, but the pants are slightly short and loose at the waist (Tyrone is taller than Erik by two inches but weighs about the same). If Faustuz hadn’t found this suit, he planned on lending a loose-fitting cardigan for Tyrone to wear on top of a collared shirt since nothing else from his closet would fit (Faustuz is taller and slimmer than Tyrone). - Now what’s up with Asia, Tricia, and Queenie now that Tyrone is all dressed up for the date? ——— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #men #suit #animestyle #frauv8_ocs

Hr. Dr. Kasper is smiling under that mask; that’s not normal.😟 He’s really excited and hoping Tyrone will appreciate putting some effort in dressing up for his wife Asia in their date night. And he’s got the suit in Asia’s favorite color (it was mentioned when they went to Freyja’s lingerie boutique for Valentine’s Day). - Tyrone has mentioned that he’s always been impressed with Johannes Faustuz’s wardrobe when he’s not wearing black or green scrubs and wrinkled khakis and collared shirts for work; Faustuz admits that he just lets his wife Freyja pick out his outfits for the day and just wears them, even if he questions about their practicality and if his clothes make him look like a clown (he prefers to wear the bare basics when he’s not working: tanks, t-shirts, boxers, joggers, and sweatpants). ——— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #men #animestyle #frauv8_ocs

Normally you don’t want to ghost a Kasper - they don’t like being ignored when they have important things to say. - Tricia Williams usually doesn’t want anything to do with Hr. Dr. Kasper, especially when he substitutes for her Biology professor (he’s close friends with Prof. Vinnie DeValeur, who also happens to be his boss’ son); but with the pandemic, she doesn’t have to go to school and he’s not responsible for the curriculum (but it doesn’t mean he doesn’t check on her progress every now and then). In this case, Johannes Faustuz wants Tricia and Queenie to help him get Tyrone and Asia on good terms again by setting up a Mother’s Day date. — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #femalecharacter #girl #animestyle #frauv8_ocs

Step Two: Making Tyrone the perfect husband. - And~ Johannes Faustuz is starting to see what’s wrong. Asia acts mean to him because she can’t accept that Tyrone isn’t as nice as he used to be (she’s actually quite smitten by how polite Faustuz is towards her, but doesn’t want to admit it), while his coworker has some masculinity issues that needs a lot of TLC (Tyrone doesn’t like admitting that Asia does a better job taking care of their daughter Queenie, nor does he likes shopping with her for clothes and crafting supplies). Until Tyrone and Asia put their stubbornness aside, Hr. Dr. Kasper can’t get to Step Three: Make the Williamses a happy couple again. — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #men #femalecharacter #woman #animestyle #frauv8_ocs

Step One: What’s up with the Williamses? - Johannes Faustuz wants to find out why Tyrone keeps avoiding going home, and why Asia is so mean (especially towards him). So he made a relationship questionnaire for Tyrone to fill out; except Faustuz forgot to write it in English - oops. Once he gets his results, the Herr Doktor will proceed to Step Two: Make Tyrone the perfect husband. ——— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #men #doctors #animestyle #frauv8_ocs

Time for a man-to-man talk in the office. - Usually it’s Hr. Dr. Kasper pressed against the wall, but the tables are turned with Tyrone dealing with a frustrated work buddy. Johannes Faustuz is at his wits end dealing with Asia, so he needs Tyrone to be the husband she deserves to calm things down - and he’s going to help him out by asking personal questions. ——— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #men #doctors #animestyle #frauv8_ocs

Asia is beyond furious with Johannes Faustuz now that she knows who his wife is. He’s going to have a nice long chat with Tyrone about spending more time with Asia whenever he gets a chance - and other personal things to help him with his wife. - Tyrone’s wife Asia has always been a very jealous woman. Her first encounter with Hr. Dr. Kasper was after confronting Tyrone with a strand of platinum blond hair she found in their laundry (the hair was the doctor’s, not a woman’s); from that point on, Asia has never liked him for multitudes of reasons (the way he talks, his lineage, spending more time with Tyrone than she gets with him, eating meat in front of her when she’s vegan, spoiling Queenie with treats every time he visits, etc.). Faustuz is really trying to help Tyrone stay focused on his wife while keeping Asia on her good side by chatting about her artistic talents making jewelry and nail art; he always wanted the Williamses visit his house for a double date, but with the pandemic going on at this time, it’s going to have to wait a bit longer. Quick pic: Cedrick Kasper and Stern the Amabie. - Like his mother Freyja, Cedrick likes an occasional cup of lingonberry and elderflower tea imported from Sweden (Johannes Faustuz is more of a coffee guy, but will take a cup of tea if offered to him; the Herr Doktor is especially fond of rose green tea just how his aunt Yoko makes it). - Stern is fond of her new home with the Kaspers, getting along well with the other creatures, especially Rosemarie the Fairy and fellow Yōkai Junko the Hyōsube. She’s very happy being with any family member since all of them are interested with literature, art, and other things intellectual. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #animestyle #teacup #mythicalcreature #yokai #amabie #malecharacter #originalcharacter #frauv8_ocs

Freyja working from home. Chibi style. - Each episode is usually a challenge for three people to make fashion out of unconventional items in one day; since she’s now stuck at home, her show has become focused more on what projects she’s been up to for herself and the family. Freyja’s current challenge to her viewers is to make and donate masks, gowns, and button headbands for doctors and nurses at the hospital where her husband works. - With the quarantine, Asia has been binge watching her favorite show and watching Freyja’s live-streams. Tricia and Queenie already know about Freyja being Hr. Dr. Kasper’s wife and Cedrick’s mother since the Meerjungfrau incident, but Asia has been speechless finally knowing the man she despises the most is married to the woman who inspires her. ——— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #femalecharacter #malecharacter #woman #man #boy #girl #cat #chibi #chibistyle #kawaii #cute #afropuffs #stayhome #workfromhome #workathomemom #frauv8_ocs

Tyrone and Johannes Faustuz are finally together again. With PPE, they could maybe possibly technically hug, but Hr. Dr. Kasper is as cuddly as a hedgehog to colleagues.🦔 Faustuz is also wearing a hot pink button headband his wife made for him so he can keep his hair off his face and ears pain-free. - He’s back at work now that elective surgeries are approved at the hospital (he’s a Surgical Oncologist). He was suspended for a month since his ward was converted into COVID-19 beds and breaking down into tears seeing a dying patient that reminded him of his uncle Heinrich (also having Death constantly whispering in his ear, and his boss not happy about a Grim Reaper walking around collecting souls effortlessly). —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #animestyle #malecharacters #men #doctors #ppe #blue #frauv8_ocs

Don’t swipe right to the end if you don’t want to see the full versions.❌ Just stop.🛑 You’ve been warned.⚠️ (but I’m sure I’ll still get a few 😤 despite the warnings) - The original color scheme is a tropical one, making it perfect for an intimate scene; the other version in blue, dark and secretive. But Papa Ström won’t allow them to play much longer - he doesn’t want to see his daughter with her husband in any way. Another “monster” for Papa Kasper to get rid of; his method might be a bit overkill using hellfire, but his wife will be able to wash up in peace. - This actually happened to me yesterday morning - a tiny spider went down right next to me while washing my face.🤣 It’s not the first time it’s happened to me either - I even had daddy-long-legs spiders drop down while showering!😱 I don’t like killing things, but scaring me like that - yeah, it needs to go. ———— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #comic #originalcharacters #blackandwhite #animestyle #malecharacters #men #femalecharacter #woman #spidertroubles #frauv8_ocs
