Hr. Dr. Kasper wearing the #heartshirt at work - Part 1. - The first one to greet him is Dr. Fatima Khan the cardiologist. And she can’t help but love all the cute little red hearts - it’s her job to take care of hearts, lol. - You’d think it’d be Cedrick the first to see his father, but Freyja will be dropping him off later in the day this time (Cedrick isn’t quite old enough to drive on his own yet at age 15). - Another fun little detail: Johannes Faustus is wearing Pumas; Cedrick wears Adidas. It’s a reflection of how the two Hr. Dr. Kaspers can be a bit competitive at the hospital despite being so similar. — #digitalart #digitalartwork #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #sketchbookapp #originalcharacters #orginalcharacterdrawing #originalcharacterart #doctors #malecharacter #femalecharacter #jwandersonheartstripeshirt #heartstripeshirt #hijab

Freyja is really hyped up about the shirt she got for Johannes Faustuz this time. Obviously he’s not as enthusiastic since he knows he’s going to be so teased at work for wearing that, especially by Tyrone. As for their son Cedrick, he’d either be cringing in embarrassment or super jealous his mother bought his father something trendy. - Kudos to anyone who can guess where that shirt is from (it’s also the source/inspiration of the #colorscheme). Hint: K-Pop, YouTube, 24 hours. I’m totally in love with it~ Comment below if you know! ❤️ — #digitalart #digitalartwork #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookapp #sketchbookautodesk #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #couple #dressshirt #heartshirt #hearts #jwandersonheartstripeshirt

Digital version of an earlier #drawing. - Fantasy Concept: Baby Cedrick casting his first spell - and of course it has to be fire. 🔥 Papa Kasper is super proud raising a wunderkind, but is also terrified to know his baby could destroy everything around him if he’s not careful. — #digitalart #digitalartwork #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #sketchbookapp #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #originalcharacter #baby #mage #magehat #hat #firespell

Today’s #workdrawing that was finished at home. - It’s not often Freyja drops by, making many of Hr. Dr. Kasper’s colleagues at the hospital to think his wife is either very sick and dying or even dead from cancer. So when she does randomly show up, it shocks people - “Grumpy Ol’ Hans” not only has a wife who is very much alive, she’s a world-famous supermodel. Also, he dresses a bit nicer when she’s around, lol. — #penart #penartwork #pendrawing #pensketch #erasablepen #erasablepens #blueink #ink #inkart #inkartwork #inkdrawing #sketchbook #leuchtturm1917 #dottednotebook #originalcharacters #originalcharactersdrawing #couple #malecharacter #femalecharacter #hospitalroom

Yesterday’s #workdrawing that was finished at home. - Poor Cedrick - he’s totally outnumbered by girls, which adds to his anxiety being around people closer to his age. The girls in order from top-bottom: Tricia (Tyrone’s niece), Carmen (Granger’s younger sister), Colleen (Rufus’ cousin), and Queenie (Tyrone’s daughter). — #pendrawing #penart #penartwork #pilotpen #frixionpen #frixionball #frixion #erasablepen #inkart #inkartwork #blueink #handdrawn #drawing #originalcharacters #girls #femalecharacters #sketchbook #moleskine #moleskinecahier

The one thing Freyja loves more than her husband is reading a good book. — #originalcharacters #couple #reading #book #digitalart #digitalartwork #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #sketchbookapp #sketchbookautodesk

Today’s #workdrawing. I plan on cleaning it up, inking, and coloring it digitally on my iPad Pro. - It’s a younger Freyja and Johannes Faustuz. The two always enjoy #reading books together since they were children, and it’s Freyja’s love of British literature that made them choose the name “Cedrick” for their son, though spelled different from the source material. — #pendrawing #penartwork #penart #inkdrawing #inkartwork #inkart #blueink #pilotpen #pen #frixion #frixionpen #frixionball #erasablepen #sketchbook #moleskine #moleskinecahier #originalcharacters #couple #inlove #book #handdrawn

Haven’t done a #digitaldrawing for some time, so here’s one. - And it’s a bit morbid with the older Hr. Dr. Kasper looking so serious with his gloved hand covered in #blood. Perhaps it’s a sign that I’m eager for October to come again so I can have my hands covered and dripping with ink like blood (yes, Inktober is a coming~). — #digitalart #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #sketchbookapp #sketchbookautodesk #sketchbookautodeskapp #originalcharacter #malecharacter #doctor #blond

Today’s #workdrawing. This time I decided to digitally ink and color the #sketch with the #sketchbookautodeskapp in my #ipadpro; normally I would have colored it traditionally, but I wanted to experiment. - Fantasy Concept: Freyja enjoying time with her newborn son Cedrick. Being a warrior, she spends most of her time hunting for food; her husband Faustuz spends his time studying magic, which also means he stays home taking care of the baby. — #pendrawing #pensketch #pens #frixionpen #digitalcoloring #digitalinking #sketchbookapp #sketchbook #dottednotebook #leuchtturm1917 #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #motherson #motherchild #motherbaby #mother #baby #child #babyboy #motherlove

Today’s #workdrawing that was finished at home. I’ve just been super tired and busy lately! - I’d like to make a series of panels based on the idea of Cedrick always wanting to eat his father’s food at different stages in his life, or of the two fighting over Mama Kasper’s leftovers since they’re always so hungry after a long day at work. So this is technically a warmup to see how I’d draw it out. — #pilotpen #frixion #frixionpen #frixioncolors #frixionball #erasableink #erasablepens #erasable #ink #inkart #inkartwork #pen #penart #penartwork #pendrawing #sketchbook #dottednotebook #leuchtturm1917 #lechtturm1917 #originalcharacters #originalcharactersart #originalcharactersdrawing #fatherson

A slightly cleaner, modified panel from an old pic made back in October 2017. It’s kinda obvious that things won’t go well for the younger Hr. It’s #lefthandersday today! No, I’m not #lefthanded, but I have plenty of #lefties in my family (brother, grandmother, aunt, etc.) - So what about my characters? Cedrick is often said to be a clone of his father, but there’s one big trait he shares with his mother Freyja: he’s a leftie just like her. So for the Kaspers, 2/3 lefties rule. 🤚🏻 — #penart #penartwork #pendrawing #ink #inkart #inkdrawing #pilotpen #pens #frixon #frixonpen #frixonball #frixioncolors #erasablepens #moleskine #moleskinecahier #originalcharacters #motherson #mother #son #child #internationallefthandersday

This #pendrawing is more #cyan than #blue in reality. It’s another #drawing done in my #moleskinecahier ; I started it at work but finished it at home as I relax from a long day of work. As usual, it’s #handdrawn with a #frixon #pen. - Freyja often likes wearing her husband’s #glasses for fun as a fashion accessory. But poor Johannes Faustuz needs them to see properly, so he risks walking into things without them. — # penart #inkart #inkdrawing #blueink #cyanink #pilotpen #frixionpen #frixionball #erasablepens #moleskine #sketchbook #originalcharacters #originalcharacterdrawing #comics #comic #couple

Another #workdrawing done in my #moleskinecahier with #frixioncolors #marker and #frixionball #pen . Still iffy on the markers, but it has an interesting chalky faded effect coloring with them. So I guess I could say they’re slowly growing on me - just depends on how I use them. - Lately I’ve been drawing my characters with a #cupofcoffee . Perhaps it’s an indication of my current state of lacking the magical substance at work, lol. — #pilotpen #frixion #pendrawing #penart #penartwork #inkart #inkdrawing #blackink #erasable #erasablepen #erasablemarker #moleskine #sketchbook #originalcharacter #malecharacter #drinkingcoffee #drinkingcupofcoffee

Today’s #workdrawing done on a #moleskinecahier this time since it’s bigger than my #leuchtturn1917 . Not very fond of the paper quality or weight compared to my #minisketchbook, but making pen strokes on it seems nice and smooth. As usual, I’ve used #frixon #erasablepens , and I can’t stop saying how much I really love using them. The only downside is that they do run out of #ink fast, so ordering lots of them and refills are inevitable. I also tested out my new pack of #zebra #midliner #highlighter #pens . They’re not bad for what they are, and I seem to like them more than the frixion color markers. - I drew Cedrick wearing his concept clothing from 2016. His attire reminds me of Bill Nye the Science Guy and Beakman’s World (I’m really dating myself here, lol). — #pilotpen #frixonpens #gellyroll #whitegelpen #inkdrawing #inkart #penart #penartwork #pendrawing #highlighterart #moleskine #originalcharacter #malecharacter #blond #green

Welp, no big match between England and France. This #worldcup has been full of surprises with so many top teams and favorites out early in the tournament (*cough cough* Germany, Argentina, Portugal, Spain) - Looks like Rufus will be drinking more beer after watching the game at the bar where Johannes Faustuz often hangs out after a long shift at work. At least England can win third place - it’d be a rematch versus Belgium. Should be a good game. — #digitaldrawing #ipadprodrawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterdrawing #malecharacters #drinkingbeer #worldcup2018

Allez Les Bleus! 🇫🇷 I’ve always wondered if France vs England was going to be a thing for the final, and we might get it! We’ll see how tomorrow’s game turns out. - The Kaspers have the devil’s luck picking winning teams, lol. Papa’s Germany went out like a green flash, Mama’s Sweden survived to the quarterfinals, and Cedrick’s Belgium could still get third place. - Vincent-Claude knows Cedrick is a good cook, so he bet that Cedrick should make French toast if France wins and Belgian waffles if Belgium wins. Rufus is just taking advantage of his stay while observing and interviewing the Kasper family. Now he plans to drop by again for tomorrow’s game and possibly the World Cup knowing how lively this household gets during global competitions. — #digitaldrawing #ipadprodrawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterdrawing #malecharacters #cooking
