Glasses off means the Herr Doktor is serious. And there’s a reason why the mermaid is very angry with Tricia, unable to bite her. - The Kaspers come from a long line of doctors who were also secretly taught about the occult, cryptozoology, and other mythical/mysterious creatures and occurrences (why Johannes Faustuz has a preserved creatures like the mermaid and talking fruit flies; it’s also why he and Cedrick can survive Freyja’s “Kracken Surprise” for dinner). So no, this isn’t their first time dealing with a revived mermaid. - Just out of curiosity, which ones do you like better: colored or black and white? Comment below!🤗 Keep in mind that colored pages take longer to make, so to progress with the story, it may not be an every page thing to do. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #lineart #halftone #animestyle #mangastyle #originalcharacters #malecharacter #man #doctor #femalecharacters #girl #child #aquarium #mermaid #mermay2019 #mermay

A break from the “Meerjungfrau” series (I’m finally able to remember how to spell “Mermaid” in German - yay!). Time for something cute and fun. - May 3rd is #twodifferentcoloredshoesday. 👞👟 And Cedrick is really proud of himself, lol. Papa Kasper is either impressed that his son actually made an effort to wear the same kind of shoes, or is ashamed seeing his son still unable to dress himself properly. - Cedrick is always in a hurry and tired, so most of the time he forgets to check his socks and shoes before putting them on. Often it’s a slipper on one foot and a laced shoe on the other because he only has time to tie laces for one shoe. - Me? I used to have mismatched socks all the time (like one pink and one green). But after buying only black and grey socks in only one brand in recent years, it saves you a lot of time in the morning not thinking about what color to wear - especially when they don’t show anyway. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #characters #chibi #originalcharacters #animestyle #mangastyle #malecharacters #blond #glasses #halftone #blue #red #shoes #adidasshoes #nationaltwodifferentcoloredshoesday

Going back to the early 1990s when Freyja and Johannes Faustuz were kids. They were childhood sweethearts with Freyja as the prettiest girl in the class while Faustuz was the nerdy geek and teacher’s pet. - As an avid bookworm herself, Freyja would always sneak up behind Faustuz to see what new book he was reading; she would often look over his head and/or shoulder to read some of his books since she was so much taller. After a few years, Faustuz would grow up so tall that Freyja would slip in between his arms not only for an embrace but also to read along with him. Because of their love of literature, they named their son Cedrick after the main character of “Little Lord Fauntleroy” (different spelling to emphasize the name’s meaning). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #characters #originalcharacters #animestyle #mangastyle #femalecharacter #malecharacter #characterart #blond #redhair #redhead #boy #girl #children #kids #readingbook #glasses #halftone #blue #orange #pink #white

Felt like drawing in a different, simple style with a fun color scheme. — Cedrick Kasper Surgeon/Lab Assistant AGE: 15 DOB: 13 October♎️ HEIGHT: 182cm - 6’0” BLOOD TYPE: AB •Cedrick is a wunderkind, graduated from medical school only at age 14. He’s currently training to become a surgeon specializing in augmented and virtual reality, and works with his father as his lab assistant. He’s very talented and sharp, but can be a bit of a hothead if he’s overwhelmed with work. He’s still a child trying to get better with his social skills, making him vulnerable to others close to his age. - (Johannes) Faustuz Kasper Oncologist/Geneticist AGE: 40 DOB: 23 December♑️ HEIGHT: 195cm - 6’4” BLOOD TYPE: AB •Faustuz is a strict no-nonsense doctor constantly working on lab work diagnosing various types of cancers and diseases. Coworkers nicknamed him “The White Grim Reaper” due to his accuracy of how long a patient has left to live. He’s the director’s right-hand man always keeping things in order, making almost everyone afraid of him. Despite his stoic and somewhat crass uptight behavior, the Herr Doktor has a kind heart towards everyone and can be a bit dorky when explaining his work. - Both father and son are from Kiel, Germany and work together at a hospital in Los Angeles, California, USA. They also have the same blood type, hair color (styled differently), and are both lactose intolerant (why Faustuz drinks black coffee and Cedrick has energy drinks and soy lattes). Cedrick has heterochromia iridum, or odd-eyes, which he inherited from his father (Faustuz has sectoral heterochromia while Cedrick has complete heterochromia). Both are very tall, Cedrick quickly catching up with his father; both are also ectomorphs, having high metabolisms and constantly fighting each other for food to replenish their energy. With all these similarities, it’s no wonder why people think Cedrick is a clone of Faustuz. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #characters #originalcharacters #malecharacters #charactersheet #characterdesign #father #son #fatherandson #doctors #glasses #labcoat #blond #green #white #pink

Reminds me how my dad, younger brother, and I would be like whenever we get our photos taken, lol. None of us are big on smiles unless we have to. 😑 And again, the black and white with stripes and dots... I just really like drawing stuff only in black with patterns and minimal colors a lot! - It’s Johannes Faustuz with his older cousins Hansel/Hanzo and Hannah/Hana, both he was raised with as if they were his older brother and sister when he was orphaned as a baby. Like all close relatives, these Kaspers are alike but different at the same time. Both Hansel and Hannah are half Asian (just like me and my brother) which is why Faustuz sticks out amongst them, aside from being the tallest and youngest of the three. Both Faustuz and Hannah are a bit on the serious side, something they picked up from Yoko Kasper (Hansel and Hannah’s mother). All three ended up wearing glasses just like Heinrich Kasper, and Faustuz almost looks just like him except for the long hair and being slimmer built more like his father Richard (younger brother of Heinrich). And of course, all three are named alike: Hansel (Hanzo to his Japanese family), Hannah (spelled Hana in Japanese), and Johannes Faustuz (Faustuz is his mother’s maiden name; he hates being called “Hans” like his cousin and insists being called Faustuz, Johannes Faustuz, or Herr Doktor Kasper instead). Thus why people close to the Kasper family often say “there’s too many Hans in the house”. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #originalcharacters #malecharacters #femalecharacter #characterdesign #characterart #family #siblings #cousins #black #white #blackandwhite_art #blackandwhite #mangastyle #stripes #dots #glasses #shirt #frauv8_ocs

Kasper Fantasy Concept: Doctor Richard Kasper, Sigrid, and a really little Johannes Faustuz clutching a skeleton plushie. - In his mortal form as the Half-Breed Quack Doctor Richard, Death sells various traded goods and homemade medicine (that may or may not work - depends on dosage and duration) from his wooden cart located in front of the borderlands tavern. Sigrid also sells handmade goods such as knitted dolls and hand-grown mushrooms and herbs; she often takes care of the cart when Richard is gone either restocking or meeting the goddess Fate’s kill quota as Death. That leaves little Faustuz alone with his toys, often watching his parents work from a hiding spot. - There are other versions I drew: without their son, and just father and son. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #originalcharacters #femalecharacter #malecharacter #characterdesign #characterart #fantasy #fantasyart #elf #child #fathermotherson #boy #family #redmushrooms #woodencart #blackrobe #skeletonplush #blackandwhite_art #blackandwhite #mangastyle #illustration

Fantasy Concept once again with Sigrid and Death. Seems like I’m enjoying drawing a lot stuff in black and white on my iPad Pro lately.🤔 - Death enjoys devouring hearts as the quickest way to kill people, aside from slashing with his scythe. He usually kills anyone who sees him in his immortal form unless he feels kind enough to bargain. Death spares Sigrid when she offers a rare poisonous mushroom called “Death’s Black Skull” grown directly from the palm of her left hand. Being offered the mushroom named in his honor, Death immediately quells his wrath and decides to focus his attention on Sigrid as an experiment for his mortal form, the Half-Breed Human-Elf quack doctor Richard Kasper. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #originalcharacters #femalecharacter #malecharacter #characterdesign #characterart #fantasy #fantasyart #elf #skeleton #reaper #black #white #blackandwhite_art #blackandwhite #mangadrawing #mangastyle #comic #comicart
