It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these… • Richard enjoys new technology whenever it comes out, especially with his true self being an entity existing over hundreds of thousands of years (Death loves watching mankind struggle to survive and progress, hoping one day it’ll become a challenge to collect their souls). As a teenager, Sigrid is also drawn to anything new and exciting - and Richard’s Walkman has definitely caught her attention (only thing is that she hates listening to his Disco music from the 70s; Sigrid is a fan of 80s Synth-Pop & New Romance). • In occasions, Sigrid likes taking and using some of Richard’s belongings like she’s a nosy little sister (especially if it’s tech and media related). Richard finds it more cute than annoying knowing Sigrid’s only curious about him and his stuff (as for his actual younger half-sister Sabrina, he hates how intrusive she is because she does so on purpose to infuriate him; Sabrina also despised Sigrid, calling her a “ugly and plain Wicca flower girl”). • Because of their large age gap, people initially didn’t see Sigrid and Richard as a couple (something they took advantage of at first since her school prohibited dating). But as time passed by, it became more apparent that the two were extremely close and always seen together; it was officially confirmed when classmates caught them kissing at the arcade and reported it to their homeroom teacher, leading to Sigrid’s expulsion from the academy (the headmistress was reluctant to expel her since Sigrid was the academy’s top student and her stepdaughter; Sigrid could only stay if she gave up her relationship with Richard, but she refused). Hmm… IDK… Light Academia might be too cutesy for the Kaspers… It’s looking more for the Ström side of the family, though they’d probably be more Cottagecore (which does has a similar color scheme and vibe to Light Academia). It seems to really suit Sigrid with her love for pink and affinity with plants (especially herbs and flowers), and maybe Hr. Dr. Kasper being a substitute Biology professor. Cedrick and his father Hr. His human character design almost always has him wearing a shirt with a 1970s-80s logo design tied to his hometown via county flag, city/state flag colors, text, and/or sailboats. (The Kaspers are from Kiel where an annual festival of boats is held in June; Kiel Woche is also Germany’s 2nd largest festival after Oktoberfest) There’s a lot of reasons why Kiel was picked as the Kasper’s hometown - the main ones are that boats are associated with Death and the journey to the Afterlife (the Kaspers are Grim Reapers), and the name “Kiel” is similar to the word “Keel” which is the backbone of a ship that keeps the whole unit together as one piece (Kaspers are known to be very loyal to their family and who they serve).
