Vincent-Claude wearing #lacoste (French), Kimiko wearing #asics (Japanese), and Rufus wearing #reebok (British). - As a really little kid, it was all about Reebok; as a grade schooler, Nike Air Jordan’s were the cool thing (never owned Nikes because they’re too expensive); and from high school onwards it’s Adidas. They grow up in spikes up to 4ft. tall (about 125cm.), and come in a rainbow of colors. Because of its shape, this flower is associated with gladiators in ancient times. It stands for strength, honor, integrity, determination, and character - all traits to describe a warrior. They grow up very tall, are symmetrical in shape, and are very recognizable with their bright yellow petals resembling the sun. According to Hanakotoba (the Japanese art of speaking with flowers), this flower called Himawari represents respect, passionate love, and radiance. - The line art was done with #ink, but I colored it in digitally with #autodesksketchbook using a basic marker brush. - For this pic, it’s a young Johannes Faustuz Kasper wearing traditional clothing with a pretzel in hand. Today’s #workdrawing done on a #moleskinecahier this time since it’s bigger than my #leuchtturn1917 . Not very fond of the paper quality or weight compared to my #minisketchbook, but making pen strokes on it seems nice and smooth. As usual, I’ve used #frixon #erasablepens , and I can’t stop saying how much I really love using them. The only downside is that they do run out of #ink fast, so ordering lots of them and refills are inevitable. I also tested out my new pack of #zebra #midliner #highlighter #pens . They’re not bad for what they are, and I seem to like them more than the frixion color markers. - I drew Cedrick wearing his concept clothing from 2016. Seeing the difference on how I used to draw him versus his current design makes me cringe - he looks so much better now.
