Being back at Del Mar made me draw something “Beachy” despite not being hot and Summer anymore. And this song always makes me think of a retro beach party, lol (it was either this song, something by the Beach Boys, or some Surf Rock, but this song is way more fun and matches the time period these two OCs were from). 🏖 [SIDE NOTE: It’s actually been quite chilly at night lately here in SoCal (almost freezing), but I LOVE it when it’s only barely 65-70F (18-21C) during the daytime; I take cold weather over hot anytime when it happens - it doesn’t happen often enough in California!] — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #sketchbookapp #sketchbookautodesk #autodesksketchbook #prequel #motionleap #originalcharacters #originalcharacter #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #originalart #frauv8_ocs #pink #blue #yellow #green #orange #animestyle #1980s #80s #80saesthetic #swimsuit #swimwear #beachvibes #typography #speedpaint

Haven’t posted these as a post; made these around Halloween/Day of the Dead timeframe. - Death is normally in his skeletal form, but every 500-1,000 years Fate allows him to become human only for a limited amount of time by fusing his essence to an unborn stillborn fetus (a soulless shell practically) and growing up to early adulthood; he’s been “reborn” mostly within the Kasper Family since he’s fond of their dark reputation and “Odin’s Eye”. Starting at age 21-22 (when the human skeleton is fully fused) he starts being able to transform back and forth from his fleshy self into his true skeletal form; however, with each transformation he looses a little bit of his flesh from the inside out until nothing remains inside his torso and is proclaimed dead (basically it’s like Tuberculosis - he’ll cough up blood and pieces of organs when he’s back to being human). Richard was actually his longest living incarnation due to better nutrition, healthcare, and preservation methods compared to earlier eras (prior times he couldn’t live past 23). Richard died when he was about the same age his son Johannes-Faustuz is right now, which is why many wonder if he’ll become just like his father or live twice as long being half Deity. Death can be summoned by his descendants at anytime and can obtain human form up to two weeks when assisting with killing god-tier monsters. - Sigrid was basically a Witch, but Wicca class (only able to cast spells with potions; the other class of Witch, Enchantress, is able to cast spells only with inner magic - thus Wicca are seen as inferior despite being the original form). Though she was the only Wicca in the academy, she was ranked top student having the highest magical potential on record (she inherited it from her Warlock father). Sigrid’s life curse allowed her to easily see Death whenever he transformed. — #sketchdump #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalink #ipaddrawing #sketchbookapp #sketchbookautodesk #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #originalcharacter #frauv8_ocs #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #man #girl #animestyle #black #white #death #grimreaper #witch #cat #souls #scythe #blackrobe #blackdress #witchhat #gown

Alive or Dead? 💀 With October being “Spooky Season” with Ghosts and Skeletons, here’s a quick character comparison sheet of OC Richard Kasper and his true form as Death Himself (The Grim Reaper / Der Sensenmann). — #digital #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #drawing #animestyle #mangastyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #originalcharacterdesign #originalcharacterdrawing #originalart #malecharacter #characterdesign #characterart #frauv8_ocs #man #grimreaper #death #sensenmann #skeleton #bones #clothes #clothing #blackandwhite #black #white #halftone #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk

With October being “Spooky Season” with Ghosts and Skeletons, here’s a quick character comparison sheet of Richard Kasper and his true form as Death Himself (The Grim Reaper / Der Sensenmann). 💀 Richard’s fashion-sense is firmly stuck mostly in the 1970s, but he’s been slowly upgrading his wardrobe to the 1980s since meeting Sigrid (their story arc is set circa early to mid 1980s). As for his skeletal form, he often transforms into Death whenever there’s a marked soul he has to personally collect for Fate Herself; to see Richard as Death means one will most likely die, but occasionally he’ll be merciful and spare his victims for another time (hence “a brush with Death”). But the transformation takes a toll on his lifespan and health condition as a human, most of his incarnations living on average for 23 years (this was Death’s longest living incarnation due to better healthcare, treatments, and preservation methods over time - which adds to the mystery of how old he was and exactly what age did he live up to). Sigrid has seen Richard as Death in occasions, and was initially frightened by his raw appearance; but over time she grew used to it and was fully accepting when it was finally time for her soul to be collected. — #digital #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #drawing #animestyle #mangastyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #originalcharacterdesign #originalcharacterdrawing #originalart #malecharacter #characterdesign #characterart #frauv8_ocs #man #grimreaper #death #sensenmann #skeleton #bones #clothes #clothing #blackandwhite #black #white #halftone #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk

Sigrid and Richard in his true form as Death. - I had people thinking Richard is Sigrid’s father, but he’s not (Samuel Jörgensen is her father, who happened to be Denmark’s most powerful Warlock at the time). He’s Death in human form for a limited time as a member of the Kasper Family (he’s an incarnation given a new body when a soulless stillborn child was born into the family he chooses). His current incarnation isn’t quite old enough to be her father (he’d had to be a young teenager if so, making him more like an older brother or cousin - especially with Sigrid’s mother Aina initially treating him like if he’s a son; it also doesn’t help that he has very light blond hair that’s almost a silvery white, making him look old), but as an entity Death is hundreds of thousands years old. Sigrid’s life curse is what made Fate send him to observe her and wait for the moment he can take her soul; but due to circumstances, Richard has grown fond of Sigrid and felt pity for her not being able to live a full life (Sigrid also slowly developed feelings for Richard despite knowing he’s her assigned Reaper and a member of the Kasper Family the occult community looks down at due to their checkered history). Johannes (Hr. Dr. Kasper) is the result of their taboo relationship, and he’s not very fond of the fact his mother was so young nor happy people expect him to be just as powerful as his father (he’s only half of whatever Death is as an entity). — #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #drawing #black #white #orange #pink #green #yellow #blue #grey #gray #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #animestyle #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #grimreaper #death #femalecharacter #girl #gown #1980s #1980sfashion #frauv8_ocs

Sigrid and her father Samuel. - As a young Warlock, Samuel demanded the pub owner to release Aina as his wife despite the warnings that she’s Wicca; Samuel was mesmerized with Aina’s albinism, charm, and beauty, believing all these traits were what he wanted for his future children - especially for a firstborn son. However, since he ignored the warnings about Wicca, his firstborn was a daughter - and not even an Enchantress due to Aina being directly descended from an ancient matriarchal Wicca bloodline (meaning her firstborn will always be a Witch, Wicca class). Samuel was so disappointed in having a daughter unable to cast spells without activation potions, viewing her as useless; when Sigrid was finally brought home from the hospital, that’s when Samuel took the opportunity to place a curse on his own daughter. Aina quickly took her daughter away before her life was completely drained out, leaving poor Sigrid less than 20 years to live; ever since the curse was placed, Aina and Sigrid have been living apart from Samuel in their flower shop located in Copenhagen. Samuel also moved on to marrying a second wife named Sarah (who happens to be the Enchantress academy’s headmistress) and finally having a son named Torben. He only tolerates Sigrid’s existing knowing she doesn’t have long to live, Sarah being fond of having a stepdaughter physically resembling him, and Torben having a “free babysitter” despite being almost old enough to stay home alone (he’s ten years old). Samuel has been surprised to see that his daughter inherited his magical potential, but doesn’t regret casting his life curse on her; the other surprise is that he didn’t expect Sigrid to develop a relationship with her assigned Grim Reaper Richard Kasper (whom, like most of the elite occult community, sees Kaspers as opportunistic uncultured brutes who’d take any job just to get into upper level society). — #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #drawing #black #blue #red #white #digitalinktober #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #animestyle #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #characterdesign #malecharacter #man #femalecharacter #girl #fatherdaughter #suit #schooluniform #frauv8_ocs

Twelfth (and last) OC for my wardrobe prompt: Freyja / Underwear Freyja Ström is Hr. Dr. Kasper’s beloved wife whom is often away working hard as a TV show host, supermodel, magazine editor, and Vice President of STRÖM CORPORATIONS & INDUSTRIES. She may look beautiful and dainty, but this fiery strawberry blonde was raised by a father alongside her four male cousins - making her more than capable fighting monsters on her own as long she has access to a weapon (especially hammers and battle axes). Freyja is also very protective of her family, taking her job seriously as a devoted wife and loving mother and doing her best to care for them - especially in feeding them her specialty meal “Kraken Surprise”. — #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #drawing #black #white #pink #green #blue #digitalinktober #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #femalecharacter #woman #fashion #clothing #clothes #inktober #inktober2022 #frauv8_ocs

Eleventh OC for my wardrobe prompt: Johannes Faustuz (better known as Hr. Dr. Kasper)/Pajamas This guy really doesn’t need much of an introduction - he’s one of my first original OCs following after Cedrick (he’s his father after all). His personality is mostly nice with crass and sarcastic undertones, but overall he means well and goes out of his way to help others even to the detriment of his patience and sanity; he sometimes risks injury if it means protecting those unfamiliar with mythical creatures and monsters. He works as an oncologist or substitute professor during the daytime, Grim Reaper at night. Johannes is the result of a relationship between Death Himself (Richard at the time during his brief time as a human) and Sigrid who was cursed to die before reaching her 18th birthday (she died from complications of childbirth). His relationship with his father is strained, especially with feeling abandoned since he was almost 4 when Death couldn’t maintain his human form much longer. As a father himself, Johannes takes his role seriously and does whatever he can to make sure Cedrick grows up into a decent person. — #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #drawing #black #pink #yellow #blue #green #digitalinktober #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #fashion #clothing #clothes #inktober #inktober2022 #frauv8_ocs

Coffee is what keeps this guy in a good mood - he drinks his hot, black, no cream or milk, and with no more than two spoonfuls of sugar. As for the music… it happened to be a song playing my headphones while drawing this, and I guess it’s a good cheerful tune to show how coffee makes my OC feel. #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #animestyle #mangastyle #animation #lineart #lineartwork #black #white #blackandwhite #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #originalcharacter #frauv8_ocs #malecharacter #man #coffee #coffeelover #kitchen #window

Something about a random bone color scheme just made me want to draw a heute couture academia outfit… Maybe because it’s the fact it’s October and skeletons are abundant, or that Bone White is a good transitional color for fashion between Fall and Winter? Or it’s because Cedrick is a Junior Grim Reaper and White is another color closely associated with death and the ghastly? (his last name is Kasper, a play on the name of everyone’s favorite ghost) I also included my inspiration collage of images that triggered this quick drawing. — #originalcharacter #frauv8_ocs #originalart #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #malecharacter #teenboy #bonewhite #white #grey #gray #yellow #brown #orange #pink #red #clothing #fashion #academia
