Grim Reaper Cedrick Kasper and Frl. Flicka the Hellhound with souls floating around. - I’m still stuck in a morbid colorless rut, but I really like drawing in black and white... Maybe I should draw one of the cats playing with a soul as it’s a ball of yarn? 🧶 Or maybe some kind of pattern... Another fashion clothing doodle? I’m still trying to figure out what to do next... — #autodesksketchbook #digitalink #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #frauv8_ocs #malecharacter #boy #dog #grimreaper #hellhound #scythe #skull #skullmask #blackandwhite #black #white

Some random Richard and Hedy scribblings... 🐈‍⬛ Richard had taken one of Hedy’s nine lives when he mistaken her for a Tatzelwurm in Aina’s greenhouse. Hedy took an instant liking to him despite what he had done and the fact Richard isn’t much of a cat-person - especially being a Grim Reaper and cats being known for the association with life and death. Richard also doesn’t like dealing with Sigrid’s neighbor/teacher Mr. Vannderhassen for numerous reasons, including the fact Hedy keeps running away and staying in the greenhouse or garden; regardless of the trouble, Richard does care about Hedy even though he calls her a pest. — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #man #cat #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #frauv8_ocs #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart

Bonus Sigrid’s Diary Entry 📔 “Hedy the Black Cat” - Hedy was Sigrid’s teacher/neighbor’s pet cat that constantly ran away from home and slept in Aina’s greenhouse. She was named after the famous inventive actress due to her cleverness and striking glance; Hedy was also very affectionate towards Sigrid, Aina, and Richard despite his dislike for cats. (Kaspers are Grim Reapers and are usually accompanied with Hellhounds, making them “dog-people”; cats are known to have multiple lives and ward off spirits and souls that Grim Reapers need to collect, making it difficult to do Death’s work; there’s also many creatures that resemble cats that often go rogue, like Tatzelwurms) - Mr. Vannderhassen often accused Aina of stealing his cat, once saying she had killed it for witchcraft when she didn’t return home (turns out Hedy was fooling around with the neighborhood Tom cat and gave birth to a large litter of kittens in the greenhouse). Mr. Vannderhassen wasn’t the kindest of neighbors nor the most moral, resulting in his death. Hedy ended up staying with Aina until her death twenty years later; Aina currently owns a descendant of Hedy - another black cat she named Lamar. — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #malecharacter #femalecharacter #cat #man #girl #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #yellow #frauv8_ocs

Quick drawing of Grim Reaper father, son, and dog: Hr. Dr. Kasper, Cedrick, and Frl. Flicka the Hellhound who’s normally in the guise of a Doberman. - I’m still stuck in a art rut, not feeling refreshed or inspired. Perhaps I should do a drawing challenge of some sort again, do a random Q&A / Artist Support thing, or do personalized critiques if anyone needs pointers on drawing. •Bonus Sigrid’s Diary Entry: Richard after getting rid of Tatzelwurms while Sigrid is in charge of the flower shop. - Richard is able to kill Tatzelwurms with his bare hands, but always ends up with cuts, bruises, and bites all over while leaving blood all over the place. Luckily Aina has a large supply of healing potions and ointments for Sigrid to use just in case (Sigrid had also been attacked by bullies since she was little, so Aina made sure she always had some). - At this point of time Richard and Sigrid aren’t officially a couple yet, but getting along well enough that Sigrid can tolerate his presence and hugs him good-bye (she’s still wary of the fact he’s a grim reaper, but does secretly like him). Richard, on the other hand, is beyond in love with her to the point lovesickness is slowly creeping in - but also cautious about showing his affection for her due to social norms (he’s estimated to be in his mid-20s thru mid-30s while Sigrid’s just a teenager). Also, having his wounds treated is torture not just from the pain but Sigrid being so close to him. — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #femalecharacter #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #frauv8_ocs #couple #comic #digitaldrawing #blackandwhite #white #grey #gray #kitchen #mangastyle

#happyyearoftheox!🐃 - Hr. Dr. Kasper’s oldest cousin Hansel was born in 1973, also the Year of the Ox. He’s a hard-working guy with a cheeky and stubborn personality who can also get a bit competitive with his siblings - especially Johannes Faustuz since he was the other boy in the family (he’s brutal with teasing Faustuz - 2nd slide). Since he’s the oldest, Hansel claims himself to be in charge of the trio and Yoko’s favorite child (Yoko is actually the most frustrated with him, making Hannah the favorite of her two biological children; as for her favorite child, she hates to admit it but it’s Faustuz). He has terrible luck with women due to his wandering heart and busy work schedule (married and divorced three times with two adult daughters), but still devotes himself for family by all means - even if his exes and children don’t want anything to do with him. Hansel has been jealous of his cousin Faustuz for many reasons (his height, being married to the same woman for decades, having a son, etc.), but mostly because Faustuz is the future patriarch of the Kasper Family after their grandfather Olafur. But at the same time he’s supportive and relieved to not be burdened with such a responsibility despite being a natural hardworking man (Hansel doesn’t have “Odin’s Eye” because he doesn’t have blue eyes - he’s half-Japanese). - Whenever Faustuz is home at Kiel and working at the local hospital there, Hansel is his nurse - adding more to the family rivalry between the two. — #malecharacter #man #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #frauv8_ocs #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #autodesksketchbook #chinesenewyear #chinesenewyear2021 #happynewyear #happynewyear2021 #red #ox #cow #yearofthecow #happyyearofthecow #yearoftheox

Hans, Hans, and Hans - Hansel, Hannah, and Johannes. - All three Kasper children had the same nickname growing up (which they hated), but their parents thought it would be cute. Initially Hansel and Hannah weren’t close knit with Johannes Faustuz since he’s so much younger; the siblings got even more quarrelsome when their cousin was adopted after Richard’s death. The older siblings constantly excluded the youngest, often picking at him and seeing him as the reason why their beloved aunt Sigrid died. Johannes Faustuz would try everything to fit in by speaking Japanese (his aunt Yoko is Japanese, and she spoke Japanese exclusively to her children), dumping black ink into his almost white hair to look like them, and try dabbling in their interests (sports and cooking) in case they need help with something. But after Heinrich’s death, the three began to bond by sharing memories. Hansel and Hannah also realized how much Johannes Faustuz acts a lot like their aunt and uncle, and began randomly hugging their younger cousin due to his physical resemblance to their father. - Prior to the pandemic, all three would spend time together looking over photos and singing karaoke; nowadays, they have sporadic Zoom meetings whenever Hansel isn’t busy being a nurse, Hannah isn’t dealing with nonstop takeout orders, and/or Johannes Faustuz isn’t teaching or reaping. — #malecharacter #femalecharacter #originalcharacters #characterdesign #characterdrawing #charactersheet #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #animestyle #frauv8_ocs
