For those who can’t read my #cursive: “ Just a random thought for my followers on Instagram: Which of my original characters do you like the most and why? Comment away - I like to hear what you have to say! ❤️😊 •List of Original Characters: 1️⃣Johannes Faustuz Kasper 2️⃣Cedrick Kasper 3️⃣Freyja Ström 4️⃣Vincent-Claude Piers DeValeur 5️⃣Rufus McClaine 6️⃣Tyrone Williams 7️⃣Kimiko Abe 8️⃣Granger Rodriguez “ And of course the two last options are ETC. and NONE. And my #doodles of each character aren’t the best. 😓 — #cursivewriting #cursivehandwriting #scribbles #moleskine #moleskinejournal #originalcharacters #pendoodles #penscribbles #blueink #erasablepen

Quick #pensketch in my #leuchtturm1917 while I’m waiting for my car getting new tires before work. The tire light wouldn’t go away last night, and turns out the front two were going bald, so better safe than sorry to get them all replaced. And my fat ugly thumb in the way too, lol. 👍🏻 — #originalcharacter #malecharacter #sketchbook #dottednotebook #pen #penart #pendrawing

Taking a break from Inktober for the iPad Pro this time, and I felt like making something #pink. I could say this is a #pinktober / #pinkwednesday pic, and October is #breastcancerawarenessmonth. So what immediately came to mind? My #originalcharacter Hr. Dr. Kasper the #oncologist wearing pink. Gotta admit - Johannes Faustuz looks great in pink. (seriously, more men should wear pink because it’s a nice color) — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #doctor #blondhairblueeyes #glasses #breastcancerawareness #octoberbreastcancerawareness #pinkoctober

#inktober #flower pic no.19 - #camellia - Comes in red, pink, and white, these flowers represent the stages of love: ⚪️White is for the adoring love between mother and child. 💕Pink is for longing love as if you’re missing someone. ❤️Red is for desired, passionate love. Camellias are used in funerals, and are given for perfection, excellence, and good luck, especially white ones. Camellia also makes good tea from its leaves. - I used #autodesksketchbook and Facetune to clean up and color this pic in since it got a bit smeared when I was inking the initial pencil drawing.😑 - It’s Freyja bonding with her newborn son Cedrick as she’s recovering from surgery. She wasn’t happy at first when she found out she was expecting a baby boy instead of the baby girl she always imagined she would have to dress up and have follow in her footsteps. But when Faustuz suggested they could be having a little boy that looks just like her, she immediately decided she wanted a son that looks exactly like her husband instead. Once he was born, Freyja was extremely happy to see she got what she wanted - a little boy with the same blond hair and blue eyes like his father. — #inktober2018 #digitalcoloring #ipadproart #inkdrawing #pendrawing #sketchbook #moleskine #moleskinecahier #pentel #pentelpen #tradio #platinumpen #platinumpreppy #whiteflowers #originalcharacters #motherandson #motherson #motherbaby #motherchild #mother #son #baby #babyboy

It’s finally finished after being in the WIP folder for a long time. 🎉 And no matter how you look at it, there’s always a group of three matching in some way, lol. - Poor Cedrick is surrounded by his coworkers as he plays a virtual surgeon game - unless he’s actually operating with a game controller, lol. In their version of the world in the near future, the younger Hr. Dr. Kasper operates using virtual and augmented technology. Because he’s still considered a child at age 15-16, he can only operate under the supervision of his father and the director. Otherwise, Cedrick is either doing triage, lab work, or taking long naps in the office he shares with his father; if he’s not busy with work, then he helps tutor kids with homework and plays video games. Life as a wunderkind isn’t very much different from everyone else - just no more school as a kid and more work as if he’s an adult. - Top Left to Bottom Right: •Leyon DeValuer🇫🇷: hospital director/geneticist •Tyrone Williams🇺🇸: pediatrician •Johannes Faustuz Kasper🇩🇪: oncologist •Kimiko Abe🇯🇵: nurse •Cedrick Kasper🇩🇪: surgeon •Fatima Khan🇵🇰: cardiologist — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #doctors #frauv8_ocs

It’s #nationalbossesday today. If you have an awesome #boss, tell him/her thanks for an awesome job! 👏 - For my #originalcharacters who work at the hospital, the director Docteur Leyon DeValeur is their very enigmatic boss who appears when you least expect it. And when he starts speaking to you in his native French, you know he’s really keeping a close eye on you. Other than that, he’s a very nice guy compared to his protégé Hr. Dr. Kasper. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #orginalcharacter #malecharacter #doctor #sitting #sittingdown #desk #work

#inktober #flower pic no.18 - #lily - These flowers have a unique scent and come in multitudes of shades of white, yellow, orange, pink, purple, and red. These flowers symbolize the departure of the soul, humility, and innocence, and are a symbol for Easter and the Virgin Mary. These flowers are often used in funerals, and are given to couples on their 30th wedding anniversary. - Lilies are very poisonous to cats, causing kidney failure. Klimt is a very curious #cat, and hopefully he doesn’t fulfill the saying by eating any part of the flower or gets the pollen on his fur. — #inktober2018 #inkart #inkartwork #markerart #pencil #eraser #markers #crayola #copicpen #moleskine #moleskinecahier #sketchbook #plant #animal #orangecat

#inktober #flower pic no.17 - #sweetpea - A flower of sweet fragrance and multitudes of colors, it represents gratitude, simple pleasure, enjoyment of one’s company, and farewell. It is also a term of endearment people call their beloved ones. These plants were also used in genetic experiments, providing information about inheritance of physical traits. - It’s Freyja and Johannes Faustuz again, enjoying their time just cuddling together. “Schatzi” is Freyja’s word of endearment for both her husband and son, which sounds a lot like “Sweet Pea”, but from memory I remember it meaning a cute form of “Treasure” (correct me if I’m wrong). — #inktober2018 #inkart #inkartwork #inkdrawing #pens #pentel #tradio #kuretake #brushpen #platinumpen #platinumpreppy #pilotpen #fountainpen #blackink #sketchbook #moleskine #moleskinecahier #blackandwhitedrawing #blackandwhiteart #originalcharacters #couple #cuddling #plant

#inktober #flower pic no.16 - #lotus - The flower of purity, rebirth, and eternity. It is the symbol of Hinduism and Buddhism with ties to reincarnation, spiritual growth, and enlightenment. It also represents a person’s journey in life, starting from being like a seed into a bud from the mud to a flower in bloom above the water and being able to see the sun. - I’m halfway through my prompt - yay! 🙌🏻 I’ll be cramming as many as I can the next few days since I’ll be busy with work again. I might toss in a few quick digital pics as well so it’s not just traditional media posts (if my energy levels allows it - I’ve been so tired!) — #inktober2018 #copicpen #sepiapen #pencil #crayola #crayolamarkers #mujimarkers #sketchbook #moleskine #moleskinecahier #pencilbox #drawing #inkart #inkartwork #inkdrawing #markerart #plant #pink #green #pinkflower #pinklotus

Haven’t made anything digitally in a while - and the rain is keeping me up (it has been pouring with thunder and lightning in SoCal). - Anyway, it’s the 13th of October and it’s a special day - it’s my #originalcharacter Cedrick’s birthday! 🎉 He was born via emergency c-section, weighing at about 6 lbs (2.7 kg) and measuring a bit more than a foot (33 cm). His birth was damaging on Freyja, which is why he’s an only child; he was also born when Faustuz just started his career as a doctor, making it difficult for him to take care of his newborn son. But a surprise occurs: Freyja’s father Erik decides to make up with his daughter after finding out she had been in the hospital. - It’s not a very good #digitaldrawing, just something quick since I’m still working and I’m tired. — #digitalart #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #fatherson #father #babyboy #originalcharacters

#inktober #flower pic no.15 - #peony - A symbol of China and Japan, the Peony is a large and lush blossom the represents many good things: luck, prosperity, fortune, riches, romance, honor, compassion, and a long happy marriage; it also stands for bashfulness and shame. The flower gets it name from the Greek name Peaon, the student of the god of medicine; its petals are used in salads and drinks, and the roots are used in traditional Asian medicine. - Freyja was arranged to marry her father’s business partner Sigmund after graduating from high school, but Faustuz managed to get past security dressed as a server and object to the union. And many guests at the wedding were relieved someone had the guts to say something - they were also able to air out their objections, revealing Sigmund’s intentions to sell off the family company and the fact he had another affair on the side. The groom left threatening to sell off all his shares and create a rival company as Freyja’s father Erik stands ashamed for arranging his daughter to marry such a man. But not all was wasted and lost - Faustuz bends down on his knee and asks Freyja to marry him once more, fulfilling the promise they made to each other as children. Erik begins to object, only to be ignored by the priest and other guests excited to finally see the childhood sweethearts together. Despite being disowned by her father, many years working odd hours to pay off his student debt, and together having a wunderkind son who’s a handful, Freyja and Faustuz are still together as a couple. — #inktober2018 #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #couple #wedding #red #inkart #inkartwork #pendrawing #sketchbook #moleskine #moleskinecahier #pens #pentel #tradio #platinumpen #platinumpreppy

#inktober #flower pic no.13 - #hydrangea - Named so for its cup-like flowers and need for water to thrive, these flowers come in various shades of blue, purple, pink, red, white, and sometimes yellow-green; the color of the flowers are determined by a combination of environment and genetics, giving them the nickname “Change Rose”. They are one of the most popular ornament flower in gardens, but they are poisonous when eaten in large doses. Hydrangeas represents pride, a sometimes negative trait when it refers to being heartless and selfish; they also stand for heartfelt gratitude and mutual understanding, and are given as gifts for a couple’s 4th wedding anniversary. - Hr. Dr. Kasper is often just called Faustuz after his mother, Sigrid Faustuz. She died giving birth, not long after his father Richard Kasper had died while responding to an outbreak in Africa; this left Faustuz an orphan in the care of his uncle Heinrich and aunt Yoko. According to his aunt, Sigrid was obsessed with hydrangeas; the flower also represents how she and Richard were like - not a very a close or romantic pair, but more like “friends with benefits.” — #inktober2018 #inkart #inkartwork #pentelpen #tradio #platinumpreppy #platinumpen #fountainpen #marker #markerarr #crayola #midliner #zebramildliner #sketchbook #moleskine #moleskinecahier #originalcharacter #femalecharacter

#inktober #flower pic no.11 - #morningglory - The flower of lovers, promises, and mortality, these flowers come in many shades of blue, purple, pink, and white. There’s another form of them called #moonflowers which bloom late at night. These flowers are given to couples on their 11th wedding anniversary, and are one of the flowers for the month of September. - It’s Freyja with her beloved Johannes Faustuz in their moment of morning glory. (*facepalms and groans*) The flower is named so for blooming late at night to early in the morning as the sun rises. The term, on the other hand, could be morning sex or something the male body does on its own... 😅 — #inktober2018 #inkart #inkartwork #copicpen #midliners #crayolamarker #mujimarkers #sketchbook #moleskine #moleskinecahier #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #couple #kiss #lovers #blueflowers

#inktober #flower pic no.10 - #forsythia - This hardy flowering shrub produces bright yellow flowers that bloom in late winter to early spring. This plant produces fruit commonly used in Chinese medicine to reduce inflammation and infection. It is named after a British botanist, and it is a flower that represents anticipation of things to come. - This #originalcharacter is Prince Asher Yang Solar, male counterpart of Princess Celestial Yin Lunar. — #pens #marker #inktober2018 #inkart #inkartwork #inkdrawing #sketchbook #moleskine #moleskinecahier #pentel #tradio #platinumpen #preppypen #sharpie #crayola #mujimarker #malecharacter

#inktober #flower pic no.9 - #lilac - These flowers represent confidence, innocence, and emotions of first love. They commonly come in violet and white, but can also come in pink, yellow, and burgundy. These flowers often bloom in spring to early summer. The wood of this shrub/tree is often used in making carving crafts and instruments. - This #originalcharacter is Princess Celestial Yin Lunar, a character I made way back in about 2003-2004. Her kingdom’s symbol was the lilac flower. She has a male counterpart, Prince Asher Yang Solar, whose symbol is the forsythia flower. — #inktober2018 #inkart #inkartwork #inkdrawing #purpleflowers #yin #femalecharacter #sketchbook #moleskine #moleskinecahier #pens #markers #pentel #tradio #kuretake #brushpen #midliners #mujimarkers

#inktober #flower pic no.8 - #birdofparadise - Native to South Africa, these tropical plants are named after the real bird-of-paradise; they’re also called crane flowers, again, named after the bird for its unique shape. They’re very common houseplants, and are given to people for their 9th wedding anniversary. - This should be my last #drawing until I’m off work again on the 9th - I no longer have time to spare to draw while I’m working at the current racetrack I’m at (too many graphics to make/type up and buttons to push). I’ll be cramming in another week’s worth of pics for #inktober2018 from my prompt when I get time off, so until then - enjoy! — #inkart #inkartwork #inkdrawing #moleskinecahier #moleskine #sketchbook #pens #markers #pilotpen #fountainpen #pentel #pentelpen #tradio #sharpie #sharpiemarker #crayola #crayolamarkers #crayolablendingmarkers #plant #tropicalflowers

#inktober #flower pic no.7 - #daisy - The flower of faith which many love-stricken people have plucked out its petals to determine the one they admire loves them back. Many children also make them into chains and wear them on their heads for fun. These flowers are commonly white and yellow, but can come in other colors. They’re also used in tea, its leaves eaten in salads, and ancient doctors used it for medicine. - It’s Freyja again, hoping her beloved Johannes Faustuz would love her back (of course he would). The two are often separated due to their careers (she’s a supermodel; he’s a doctor/scientist), so often she gets anxious being apart from him for long periods of time. - This might be the last #drawing for a while since I’ll be back to work tomorrow. #inktober #flower pic no.6 - #iris - These flowers are named after the Greek goddess of rainbows, which is appropriate since they come in many colors from red to black-purple, though the most popular colors are white, blue, violet, and yellow. They represent loyalty and good tidings and news. - Like Cedrick and Vincent-Claude, I had drawn Rufus back in 2006-2007 with a flower. For Rufus, it was an iris, perfect considering his profession is a photojournalist. - I thought about coloring it, but decided to keep it plain and simple. There’s plenty of detail in the #inkdrawing as is, and I put my UK-themed notebook next to the pic because the character is British-Irish. — #inktober2018 #inkart #inkartwork #sketchbook #moleskine #moleskinecahier #pens #pilotpen #fountainpen #pentel #pentelpen #tradio #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #originalcharacterdrawing

#inktober #flower pic no.4 - #sunflower - (I know I messed up the order of my prompt, but whatever, lol) My grandfather always called these flowers “weeds” in his corn fields, but sunflowers can be useful being grown for their seeds and oil. They grow up very tall, are symmetrical in shape, and are very recognizable with their bright yellow petals resembling the sun. According to Hanakotoba (the Japanese art of speaking with flowers), this flower called Himawari represents respect, passionate love, and radiance. - The line art was done with #ink, but I colored it in digitally with #autodesksketchbook using a basic marker brush. - For this pic, it’s a young Johannes Faustuz Kasper wearing traditional clothing with a pretzel in hand. And like a sunflower, he’s simple in appearance, grows up much taller than everyone else around him, and is always reliable whenever he’s needed. — #inktober2018 #inkdrawing #inkart #inkartwork #digitalcoloring #sketchbook #moleskine #moleskinecahier #pilotpen #fountainpen #pentel #pentelpen #tradio #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #child #boy #german #himawari
