#sketchdump of Sigrid and Richard I haven’t posted since drawing it a few days ago…
Could say it’s a closer look at when Sigrid was finally getting used to Richard being around more often, asking questions about his upbringing and past when he was about her age.

Richard was raised by his grandparents in Johannesburg soon after he was born and remained there until he was considered old enough to return to Kiel to start school and not “interfere” with his older brother Heinrich’s studies (mother’s parents were German-Dutch immigrants to South Africa).
His father Olaf wasn’t happy having a second son and had hoped that Heinrich was Death Himself incarnated, not Richard; his mother Ida also wanted a daughter and not having the girl she wanted made her abandon her family for a young American soldier and start a new life abroad (she also was horrified when she overheard their son mention the terrible things Olaf had done during the war); this lead to Richard having a hard life living with his father at home but an enjoyable experience at school with his brother and classmates.
Richard was quite popular and athletic as a kid and teenager, often playing sports and flirting with girls only to shatter their hearts for fun; he had his first girlfriend in High School, and continued to have many more for years - until he finally stopped with Sigrid.
Richard kept visiting his grandparents until his younger half-sister Sabrina was given control of the family estate in Johannesburg when she turned 21 (like their mother Ida, she wanted nothing to do with her older half-brothers and kept them away from their grandparents; Sabrina was disgusted that Richard married Sigrid not just because she was a teenager but also considered her “plain as a sheet of paper”; lately she’s been interested with her nephew Johannes Faustuz only because he’s associated with the Ström family through his wife Freyja).

It’s not often I’d draw Hr. Dr. Kasper with his parents (Sigrid died a few days after childbirth; Richard “deteriorated” when he was 2-almost-3 years old), but it’s kinda a fun experiment drawing them together just to compare how he looks like to them.
It’s pretty obvious that he’d resemble Richard a lot (same coloring, height, etc.), but there’s also quite a bit of Sigrid he inherited (hair style, personality/expressions, etc.).
…also it’s another excuse to draw matching plaid outfits influenced by their respective decades, lol.
(I just really like drawing outfits on OCs, okay?!)

About each drawing:
• Freyja loves using her husband’s glasses as a fashion accessory.
That’s why Johannes Faustuz has so many styles and pairs of them - and because he has so many, he always has a spare pair to see (his right green eye is nearly blind unless it’s activated).
• Faustuz doesn’t like buying new clothes if it’s avoidable, especially for expensive items (he rather spend the money for a date night with Freyja or on treats for the many creatures the family has at home).
Luckily he inherited some stuff from his father Richard that he actually likes to wear, such as watches, rings, and suits (Richard bought a few Armani suits in the 1980s to impress Sigrid).
• Freyja and Faustuz are notorious for staying out late after their dinner dates (for obvious reasons - mainly to get time away from work and their son Cedrick), often upsetting Erik when they finally get home around dawn (he’s always going to be a protective father for his daughter no matter how old she is).

It’s been ages since I’ve drawn a fantasy version of any of the Kaspers; of the three, Cedrick’s design is the simplest to draw, but also possibly the most controversial because he has a white imperial naval uniform.
Comment below if you want me to draw his parents next (Freyja’s design is the most elaborate; Faustuz’s look always changes slightly each time I draw his fantasy design).
