Anyone else getting Ecto Cooler and Gummibär vibes from this pic, or is it just me? 👀 Anyway, this was my original idea for the last pic with red groats, but then after some deep thinking and looking at the red color scheme it just makes way more sense to use Sigrid (it’s also her favorite food and she’s Danish). And further research revealed that there’s other variants of the same dessert based on the berries used to make it, and green groats just seems to fit better with Cedrick based off its unique green color scheme and the use of kiwi.🥝 (There’s also Blaue Grütze with blueberries, Schwarze Grütze with blackberries, and Weiße Grütze with white currants - and all this talk of fruit is making me hungry…🤤) And to put things in perspective, Sigrid and Cedrick are drawn at about the same age (Sigrid is 15-16; Cedrick is 14-15), just in different eras (1980s vs 2020s). — #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #boy #grünegrütze #germandessert #whitecurrant #kiwi #kiwiberry #green #yellow #white #red #blue #animestyle #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing

Sigrid with her favorite thing to eat (besides ice cream): Rødgrød 🇩🇰 (Rote Grütze 🇩🇪) Sigrid loves all things sweet, fruity, and creamy, and she absolutely loves it when her mother Aina makes fresh Rødgrød with all the berries that grow in their backyard greenhouse. Her boyfriend Richard also likes eating it, but only without the sweet cream due to being lactose intolerant; whenever Sigrid is hungry for more, she’d dump a lot of cream into his bowl to get a quick second serving. 🥣🥛 I did have another version with another OC in mind, so that’ll most likely next with a few modifications… No guarantees. — #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #femalecharacter #girl #schoolgirl #schooluniform #rødgrød #rødgrøtmedfløde #danishdessert #currant #red #white #animestyle #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing

Quick drawing - OCs Freyja and her husband Johannes Faustuz wearing matching cornflower blue outfits.💙 (One of my favorite colors) It’s a bit reminiscent of an old pic of the same two characters from 2018 also wearing matching outfits (last slide). — #autodesksketchbook #man #woman #couple #femalecharacter #malecharacter #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #characterart #blue #white #cornflowerblue #fashion #matchingoutfits #coupleoutfit #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing

Another black and white drawing of this guy wearing something quirky and unusual, reflecting a side Hr. Dr. Kasper inherited from his grandmother Aina. Still alive. Been busy driving and working, only to drop straight into bed at the end of the day to wake up early and start the cycle all over again. For one day just to stay awake for work, I had a whole can of V8 Energy drink, a large cup of iced coffee latte, and over half a can of Mountain Dew Rise with occasional walks around the work compound. (Yes, I’m that tired; it’s always like this at the start of a new racing meet down at Del Mar) So here’s a quick drawing of this guy running around for the meantime while I recover. — #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #characterdesign #characterart #malecharacter #man #doctor #labcoat #scrubs #blond #longhair #green #white #grey #gray #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #frauv8_ocs

Back to drawing in black and white again. This guy looks ready to snap his fingers like Thanos with all his rings on, lol. Besides liking them, he actually has a reason for wearing rings and bracelets (he normally can’t wear them while working at the hospital as a surgeon, but he can when he’s being a substitute professor). Each piece of jewelry is made of certain metals and gemstones he switches out based off of what mythical being or wandering soul he encounters for extra protection. — #autodesksketchbook #mangastyle #animestyle #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #drawing #originalcharacterart #originalcharacter #characterdesign #characterart #frauv8_ocs #frauv8ocs #malecharacter #man #fashion #glasses #rings #vest #pants #shirt #boots #manbun #texture #halftone #mangastyle #blackandwhite #black #white #grey #gray

Well… I never got a sixth idol, so I just went ahead and finished these ladies and gentleman up (yep, only one guy this this round of Fan Arts). I’m a fan of K-Pop but not to the point that I know every name of each idol / artist in each band - just a casual fan. (I can’t keep up with how many of them there are!😭) Let me know what you think in the comments below. I don’t want to draw any books for a while…💀 I still love them though. I have the closeup, original, comic book textured, and uncolored versions posted here. - OCs Hr. Dr. Kasper and Tricia Williams doing some research together at the library. Who knows what they’re talking about… Maybe he’s telling her about Wikipedia barely being a thing when he was a freshman so he still had to rely on physical encyclopedias and archive cards for information, revealing that he’s actually a Millennial (Tricia had always called him a Boomer since his hair is so light that it looks white, assuming he’s much older than he is). 📝PERSONAL NOTE: Wikipedia is a great resource to find other documentation for research papers, but not for direct citation (because a lot of articles often have uncertified info); an amazing research resource is EBSCOhost, which was my favorite when I had to write papers. — #malecharacter #femalecharacter #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #man #girl #student #professor #library #books #fashion #frauv8_ocs #frauv8ocs #animestyle #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #drawing #blue #red #pink #white #black
