It’s not everyday Hr. Dr. Kasper wears a suit.

It’s been a while since I’ve made a pic this detailed with effects, or any pics at all for the last few days (I’ve been bogged down with work, including a double shift). I’m cat-sitting my father-in-law’s cat Sammy for several days, so that might affect my ability to post stuff regularly. I’ve also been a bit uninspired, so drawing something like this is an accomplishment (believe me - I’ve been feeling really exhausted trying to make something).

The youngest of the Ström nephews, younger brother of Einar, and the youngest of all the Ström children, Gunnar is in charge of marketing and distribution. He’s a perfectionist, always concerned about image and quality. Timid, quiet, and sensitive, Gunnar often needs someone to help reassure him when making decisions - usually his older brother Einar, his cousin Freyja, or even Hr. Dr. Kasper.
Gunnar and Freyja are close in age, only three months apart, and often did things together; it was expected that the two would get married (if not him, then Werner). But it didn’t happen - and Gunnar was beyond relieved that he didn’t have to marry Freyja because his uncle Erik scares him.
He still remains Freyja’s other favorite cousin, and over the years Gunnar has also grown fond of her husband.

Einar is the third oldest Ström nephew, the oldest son of Erik’s youngest brother Sven.
Einar is in charge of finances of STRÖM CORPORATIONS & INDUSTRIES, and is notorious for his stinginess and frugality; it’s hard to say which nephew is more difficult, Werner or Einar, but Einar is much more pleasant to chat with. Ironically, Einar is a very flamboyant man - he enjoys dressing up and showing off his presence despite being frugal.
Like his cousin Freyja, he loves fashion, and as children they would dress up and put on makeup; he claims that he’s her inspiration to become a supermodel. He also adores her husband, and playfully flirts with him whenever he’s at Stockholm for a visit (Johannes Faustuz will always smirk and say “Don’t tell Freyja, Darling - she’ll be jealous”).
Einar is very grateful for living with his uncle Erik - his father Sven was abusive, beating him for liking boys and dressing up, and beating his younger brother for being sensitive and weak. Under his uncle’s care, he healed up and blossomed into the man he is today.

The second oldest of the Ström nephews, younger brother of Ragnar, Werner takes pride being in charge of product design and engineering. He’s artistic, crafty, and when he’s done with work, he enjoys a strong cocktail and a crossword puzzle or two to unwind. He’s very practical, insensitive, and blunt, making him the most difficult of the four Ström nephews to deal with.
Werner hates the fact that he looks like a younger version of his uncle, despite his gratitude for being accepted back into the family estate (he also hates how Freyja’s son Cedrick Kasper is starting to resemble him).
Besides Gunnar, Werner was looked as the next best choice for Freyja to marry due to his good looks and love for the family business. But Werner and Freyja don’t get along, and he also feels awkward around his uncle Erik. He still harbors a lot of anger towards Freyja, seeing her as the cause of his father’s disownment. He also had tricked his cousin many times disguised as her future husband when they were teenagers (which lasted a while before Faustuz grew up much taller than him); because of this, Freyja and Faustuz have a relationship of distrust and caution towards him.

He takes after his uncle, but is much more soft-spoken and mindful of other’s emotions. Like Erik, Ragnar is skilled in blacksmithing; he’s in charge of manufacturing in STRÖM CORPORATIONS.
His relationship with his cousin Freyja is definitely a big brother/little sister dynamic, always protective and supportive of her. But this bond was tested when he married her fashion rival Vivian, who for long while overshadowed Freyja’s fashion career and forced her into working for the family company and editorial work.

She works with her father and four cousins on top of being a fashion supermodel, magazine editor, TV show host for “FLASH FASHION”, wife, and mother.
Like her father, Freyja enjoys charity events and helping people in need; in the ending segment of her TV show, she promotes businesses that are family owned and surprise visits cancer patients who are fans.
Initially the family thought she would marry one of her cousins, especially Gunnar since he’s the closest in age and has a friendship with her. But instead she married Hr. Dr. Johannes Faustuz Kasper, a boy she met randomly while visiting a library in Kiel during one of her father’s business trips; she then recognizes him as a classmate when she was a foreign exchange student. The two had been inseparable despite their differences in social class, native languages, and living far apart in different countries. Her father Erik doesn’t like Hr. Dr. Kasper because of his family’s dark history, but does appreciate the fact that Freyja picked a self-made man and is knowledgeable of the mythical and occult. Her cousins were all relieved she didn’t marry any of them because they don’t want Erik as their father-in-law as well as bear the responsibility of being in charge of the family business.
Freyja also has a son - an energetic, very social, moody teenage Wunderkind named Cedrick. Her relationship with her son can be strained due to her constant absence with work and trying to patch things up with toys and gadgets, but they bond having conversations in Swedish and putting jigsaw puzzles together.

By suggestion, the first group to be featured are the Ströms, a Scandinavian family descended from Viking royalty and takes pride in making occult weaponry; starting in the 1950s, the Ströms became a wealthy family once more after struggling for centuries to regain their high status in society after the rise of Christianity in Scandinavia (which happened in the 10-11th Centuries, 900-1000).

Erik is the no-nonsense, industrialist patriarch of the Ström Family: loving father of Freyja, strict uncle to four nephews, and proud grandfather of Cedrick Kasper. Dr. Johannes Faustuz Kasper (pseudonym Jonah Fritz Ström) for dominance in the household, but doesn’t want to admit that he’s actually happy to have him part of the family.
Erik runs STRÖM CORPORATIONS from Stockholm, Sweden - a shipping business used as a cover for the real family business: making weapons for capturing and killing monsters and dealing with occult encounters. He’s an old-fashioned man who remembers being poor as a child, which is reflected on how he prefers working without technology and eats leftovers for lunch. He enjoys working with his hands and going out and about for charity events providing donations for schools and hospitals, traits he passed down to his daughter Freyja.
His motto: “Don’t forget your roots - remember who we were.”

Might draw kid Tyrone next to kid Johannes Faustuz, even though they wouldn’t have known each other until much later in life (they grew up in the 90s liking very similar things such as video games and toys).

As a kid with my family, I loved watching “Family Matters”, “Fresh Prince of Bel Air”, “Roseanne”, “Married With Children”, and “Home Improvement”
(Yes, we also watched “Full House”, but it didn’t seem as interesting; my mom liked it because of the kids; “Friends” was also a show we didn’t watch much compared to “Seinfeld” and “Fraiser”)
It’s all vague memories, but just a mention of some of TV characters like Steve Urkel just makes me smile because I do remember his funny voice, his silly antics, and “Did I do that?”😆
Obviously I was looking at Urkel as a source of inspiration for a kid Tyrone because I have a soft spot for dorky nerdy guys.
Tyrone gave up the look as he grew up because of peer pressure to look more “hip and cool”, but away from others at home, he maintains his love for video games, toys, and TV shows (he still hasn’t told his work buddy Hr. Dr. Kasper about about his secret love of collecting Trolls and wearing glasses as a kid).
Sadly it’s something a lot of people, especially minorities, battle with because being nerdy is associated with “not being part of the group”. It’s not so much of a thing for Asians because it’s expected to be smart (amongst friends I joked I’m half as smart since I’m only half Asian), and the White Nerd has been a stereotype for ages despite being mocked.
Nowadays it’s not a bad thing to be a nerd - it’s actually quite fashionable to be one with a sexy pair of glasses.🤓

This time is the classic white T-shirt and low-cut tank for Summer; as for what pants he’s wearing, it’s possible that they’re denim bell bottoms.

Normally Richard would flirt with numerous women in his travels as a doctor dealing with assigned missions, hoping one would go with him for the night before repeating the same the next day. But while shopping for rare flowers to make a potion to ward off trolls in Denmark, Richard notices the shopkeeper’s daughter and was instantly captivated by her beauty; he’s told that her name is Sigrid and works with her after school. He wasted no time introducing himself, only to get a condescending glare and Sigrid stomping away. Instead of attracting another woman, Richard was set to win her heart.
Sigrid from the start thought Richard was charming and handsome (her mother got her to admit she likes his goofy smile and his butt in a phone call 😂), but didn’t like a man known for flirting around for one-night stands looking at her as his next target. She continued to refuse his advances, but noticed Richard was starting to look more ragged, sleep deprived, and thin as time passed by; he really was seriously in love with her, so much so that he literally became a shell of the man he used to be. There’s no question that he looks a lot like her, only with his father’s coloring.

Richard was a young traveling doctor who was known for being a notorious ladies man, always trying to woo a female to spend the night with - until he meets Sigrid at her mother’s flower shop in Denmark. He was immediately awestruck by her beauty, and did everything in his book to win her; to his dismay, she outright rejected every advance. Richard never had a woman ignore him before, making him even more determined and desperate to attract Sigrid every time he visited the flower shop.
Sigrid was very much enamored with Richard’s looks and charm from the start, but she also knew of his promiscuous behavior and wanted him to stop so she can have him for herself. After a year of tormenting the poor man, Sigrid finally agreed to go out on a date with him; Richard was beyond ecstatic, constantly showering her with letters, gifts, and endless loyalty by marrying her. Less than a year later, they were expecting their first child.
Richard was beyond proud when she gives birth to a healthy baby boy during the holiday season, but his joy quickly turned to despair when she suddenly dies from rapid blood loss; he named their son “Johannes Faustuz” as a reminder that he was a final gift and reminder of the woman who made him work hard for her love. Sadly, Richard dies while out on mission in Africa from infection a few months later, never seeing his son grow up looking like his mother and becoming a doctor like his father.
