It’s the whole family! As a cute chibi pile! — Someone had questioned whether if everyone would be blond, but NO! Not all Swedes, Germans, or Scandinavians in general are blond in real life, so this family should reflect that fact (my grandma is Swedish, and she had auburn hair like Freyja’s cousins Einar and Gunnar). It’s a silly, stupid stereotype that gets tacked on for lots of nationalities that are “majority White” (*glares at a certain popular anime that starts with an “H”*). — Freyja loves both halves of her family, but it’s hinted that she might love her Kasper part more due to the challenges of having an overbearing husband and moody Wunderkind that tests her wits versus the Ströms constantly spoiling her like a princess without question. - Being married to Freyja, poor Johannes Faustuz is often assumed to be a Ström himself by her coworkers and the media (getting the name “Jonah Fritz Ström” from the confusion); he obviously hates it not being called by his actual name and title, but for family’s sake, he’s willing to put up with it. - As for family traits, Ströms usually have blue or green eyes and some shade of blond or red hair. Cedrick looks a lot like his Ström relatives (especially his grandfather Erik and mother’s cousin Werner), but is immediately casted out as a Kasper with his odd eyes (Kaspers inherit heterochromia if they have blue eye genes). — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #family #chibi #chibistyle #frauv8_ocs

Freyja’s four cousins, two sets of brothers: Ragnar with Werner and Einar with Gunnar. - Freyja’s father Erik Ström was the oldest of three sons, so he was set to inherit the family estate and company from his father. But things got heated when Erik had no children for years while his two younger brothers had sons. Things appeared settled once Erik’s wife Sonja was finally expecting a baby, until the baby was a girl. Only once in the far Viking past a female was placed in charge of the Ström clan, so Erik’s brothers weren’t too enthusiastic about their sons being in the service of a woman. All four cousins were at first annoyed with having to treat Freyja as a princess, only to realize as they got older that she’s been bearing all the family’s responsibilities as leader. Before Freyja met Johannes Faustuz, it was once assumed that she would marry one of her cousins, most likely Gunnar. As adults, all four have duties under Freyja to keep the family business running. - •Ragnar is second in line to inherit Ström Corporations, after Freyja should anything happen. He’s very much like his uncle, helping out with the physical labor in making occult weaponry. •Werner is Ragnar’s younger brother; Cedrick has been confused as him now that he’s just as tall, but Werner is more gruff and ragged. He designs weapons based on provided research from the Kaspers, then gives the blueprints to his brother and uncle for completion. •Einar is the oldest son of Erik’s youngest brother. He’s vain, hates fighting monsters, and has the taste for the finest of things - but at a reasonable price, thus he’s in charge of financing. •Gunnar is the youngest cousin, 3 months younger than Freyja, Einar’s brother. As a boy he wanted to marry her, but growing up he realized he didn’t want any part of the demands of being co-leader nor deal with his hot-tempered uncle. He’s still attached to Freyja, often concerned with her public image, making him in charge of marketing/communications. — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #characterdesign #cousins #brothers #frauv8_ocs

OMG! He can talk! 😱 Well, not exactly because he doesn’t have a voice, lol. (imagine a guy with a strong German/Danish accent with Christoph Waltz’s voice - that’s how I always imagined Johannes Faustuz would sound like) - I’m just playing around with simple animation just to test myself (I never took 2D animation classes, btw), and I’m about ready to turn into a puddle of brain goo after making this. Don’t expect me to animate him performing a K-Pop dance, the Carmeldansen, or anything crazy like that next (I’m already crying tears of pain at the thought of it 😭). There’s a total of 12 pages of different facial movements to make this; I can only imagine how much more work there is to do when you include breathing, walking, writing, etc. besides basic talking and blinking in an animation. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #animation #malecharacter #man #doctor #doctorsoffice #frauv8_ocs

Careful - Hr. Dr. Kasper is going mad. - I probably should of tried animating the bubbles in the test tubes as well, but I’m lazy, lol. I guess I can try it out later, but most likely I’ll end up making something else. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #blackandwhite #animation #malecharacter #man #doctor #lab #specimen #specimens #madscientist #maddoctor #frauv8_ocs

Drew this while listening to BTS’ new album (which is awesome cakes - “Dionysus” is definitely a favorite). - It’s a rarity to see Cedrick alone with his mother Freyja. At first glance, people assume he’s either her boyfriend or younger brother; Cedrick also gets embarrassed whenever Freyja tries to act “cool” around him (she’s actually not that old, not 40 yet). Freyja also has the bad habit of babying and spoiling her son to the point he’s annoyed and wants to be with his father instead (obviously this makes her sad and want to spoil her son even more just to get his affection; she inherited this habit from her father Erik). Cedrick and Freyja speak to each other in Swedish, which adds to the cuteness between mother and son (Johannes Faustuz, on the other hand, finds it frustrating whenever his wife and son do so because he can’t understand Swedish). This is the one thing Cedrick does appreciate being able to do with his mother since it’s challenging for him to speak Swedish instead of his usual English or German. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #characters #originalcharacters #malecharacter #femalecharacter #mother #son #motherson #blue #pink #grey

Cedrick found something in his father’s specimen collection that he just can’t wait to dissect. - One thing about Kaspers is that they can’t contain their eagerness to obtain knowledge by all means, making them quite mad and insane doing so. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #doctor #madscientist #maddoctor #jarredspecimen #animestyle #frauv8_ocs #green

The two mamas together - even though they haven’t officially met yet. - Freyja is always adventurous and frilly with what she wears, while Asia is more about comfort and practical. A yellow color scheme. And lots of tension in the pic too. - Yellow is such a challenge for me because yellow is just such a strong color. I like it as a hair color (pretty obvious looking at my main OCs), it’s a nice hint of color for jewelry and accessories, but as an overall color for articles of clothing or backgrounds... it’s like stepping on LEGOs. Yellow needs other colors to tone it back, or otherwise it’s literally being blinded by light. Of course, yellow isn’t the only color I have the same issue with (looking at Pantone color Biscay Green), but if used moderately, it’s not such a terrible thing. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalsketch #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #yellow #red #orange #frauv8_ocs

Football / Soccer jerseys for this activewear/sportswear compilation because I feel like it. - Comment below and let me know which one is your favorite jersey. I think it’s obvious which ones I like most of the four (I own more than one white jersey, lol), but by far, my favorite has been 2018/2019 Germany’s jersey because it’s a beautiful shade of green (last slide). - The Swedish jersey bugs me so much because it’s a shade of what I call “Minion” yellow (yet I still bought one, but only because it was on sale and I can wear it when it gets super hot and humid🤦🏻‍♀️). If it’s not a hair color, yellow is a color I have difficulty with because it has such an intense presence. — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #men #man #boy #teen #malecharacters #soccer #football #jerseys #fashion #frauv8_ocs

Father and son, Johannes Faustuz and Cedrick, in matching outfits based off of actual clothes; might draw a different version that shows their clothes in their entirety since I had to crop this so it fits in silly Instagram. Also seems like I can’t get over the color red even though Valentine’s Day has been over. At least it’s not an obnoxious bright yellow (*glares and gags looking at Minions and Sweden’s jersey* I’m so sorry, but that shade of yellow makes me cry because it’s such a difficult color to use without hurting my eyes). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #man #boy #teenageboy #father #son #blond #glasses #black #red #yellow #frauv8_ocs
