Selfie time! Don’t forget Bertie! (BTW, anyone wanna guess what monster she is?) - While drawing this, I was told Freyja looks younger with her hair naturally straight. It also asks the question: “Which parent Cedrick resembles most?” — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #originalcharacters #malecharacters #femalecharacters #characterart #mangastyle #animestyle #selfie #frauv8_ocs

Ugh... Trying to finish this story by Valentine’s Day, but I’m struggling with a migraine right now... Nothing in the boxes were fragile - it’s all lingerie. The only thing fragile were eyes seeing something uncomfortable and incomprehensible. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #comic #originalcharacters #malecharacter #man #femalecharacter #boxes #frauv8_ocs

This would sound like gibberish to Tyrone and Bertie standing just outside of the stock room; normally Johannes Faustuz and Freyja would speak in English to each other, but to keep things more private, they switch to German (Freyja would speak in Swedish with Cedrick if she wants something kept secret from his father). - Freyja is an overachiever, always trying to get that extra stretch to get her work done quicker; she claims to have the strength of ten men, but that might be because she’s the only female in her immediate family (husband, son, father, and her four cousins - all men). Faustuz always worries about his wife constantly working and burning out (though the same can be said about himself because he’s also a workaholic); he also worries because Freyja had fallen once and got a concussion during a runway show. But with two Type A personalities running the family, it’s expected that they clash every once in a while. - Now... What’s in the boxes? —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #comic #originalcharacters #malecharacters #man #femalecharacter #woman #couple #boxes #frauv8_ocs

Tyrone suspects that his buddy here isn’t such a good guy when really Johannes Faustuz is just very protective of his wife’s identity. - It’s also not often Freyja is working at her boutique; she’s usually busy with other things, like filming new episodes, organizing a magazine spread, discussing stocks with her cousins, or if she’s really feeling ambitious, helping her father make new weapons for killing monsters. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #comic #originalcharacters #malecharacters #men #femalecharacter #frauv8_ocs

Part 3. Who’s Bertie? And “Mr. Ström”? What’s going on? - Hr. Dr. Kasper obviously has something against Bertie, especially with his odd eye turning yellow indicating that there’s a creature nearby. As for “Mr. Ström”, he gets called that by his wife’s coworkers, whether they assume that he’s really a member of the Ström family or jokingly call him that because he hides under his wife’s shadow. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #comic #originalcharacters #malecharacters #men #femalecharacter #lingerieshopping #frauv8_ocs

Freyja’s lingerie boutique. It’s one place her husband avoids like many men do, but not because he’s afraid of the underwear like Tyrone is. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #comic #originalcharacters #malecharacters #men #lingerieshop #frauv8_ocs

Character sheet of these two hubbies together in matching colors - red and grey. - Freyja thinks it’s cute that her husband has a “Work Spouse” who depends on him; Asia, on the other hand, is extremely jealous of her husband spending more time with Johannes Faustuz than he does with her. - As for the two guys, Tyrone loves being around Faustuz since he gets free food and advice about being a father and husband; Tyrone is also excited with common things they share - such as being born around a holiday (Tyrone was born on Thanksgiving Day; Faustuz was almost born on Christmas Eve), growing up poor and being raised by other relatives (Tyrone was raised by his grandmother; Faustuz was raised by his uncle and aunt), playing the same video games in their childhood (Super Mario, Zelda, Final Fantasy, Pokémon), and being really tall (both are over 180cm / 6 ft. tall). Faustuz at times gets exhausted and annoyed with his coworker’s constant attention, but he considers Tyrone as a good friend and is willing to help him with whatever he needs. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #characters #originalcharacters #malecharacters #men #red #grey #charactersheet #characterdesign #characterstudy #frauv8_ocs

Something fun this time with the kiddos: Tricia Williams and her little cousin Queenie with Cedrick Kasper. - People often assume Tricia and Cedrick are a couple, but they’re more like siblings who can’t stand each other after long periods of time; Tricia is almost 4 years older than Cedrick (she’s 18), so she doesn’t see him as a potential date but as a “dorky oversized kid”. Queenie will also become jealous seeing her older cousin always getting boba tea, frozen yogurt, and coffee every time she meets Cedrick for tutoring sessions, thus she often demands that she tags along just so she can get spoiled with treats. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #originalcharacters #malecharacter #femalecharacters #characterdesign #characterart #fashion #black #white #blackandwhite_art #blackandwhite #mangastyle #stripes #dots #halftone #frauv8_ocs

Digital version of Cedrick in the rain. It doesn’t rain often here where I live in SoCal, but where the Kaspers are from, it can rain and/or snow quite a bit. - Personally I like it without effects, but I included the #pixaloop version as the 2nd slide. A nice early spring stroll around Kiel. It’s not often these three are home (their actual home, not Los Angeles) together as a family. - I made this pic pink like sakura blossoms blooming. (Unfortunately I wasn’t able to see them in my trip to Japan since it was December, but they had beautiful red maple leaves at the park, lol.) The coloring process was also inspired by Andy Warhol’s art on the last slide (he’s been a favorite since I was a kid; pop art and anime are my biggest influences). - As for both Kasper guys, I opted to not have glasses since I thought it would cover their faces with the pic being so small; look carefully, and they still have their odd-eyes at least. When it gets small, many details get lost in the whole, so keeping things minimal is best. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #lineart #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #characterdesign #characters #malecharacters #femalecharacter #family #mother #son #father #halftone #pink #blue #black #white

Papa Kasper enjoying another cup of coffee: hot, black, two spoonfuls of sugar, no milk or cream. He don’t do lattes or macchiatos because he’s lactose intolerant.☕️ As for tea, Johannes Faustuz is open to try anything ; his favorites are lingonberry, elderflower, rose, Earl Grey, and matcha green tea.🍵 - It’s a simple animated pic using iMovie. This wasn’t too difficult to make, but anything more detailed than this would be a bit much. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #colorstudy #animation #malecharacter #man #blond #manbun #stripes #frauv8_ocs
