A quick colored #digitalsketch of Cedrick and Freud. As for what he’s holding, it could be a book, or based on it’s dimensions, it could be a VHS tape from his father’s archives (Papa Kasper is a Millennial, so he grew up in the 90s during the age of tapes and CDs). - Cedrick is mostly wearing retro 80-90s clothing that probably was once Johannes Faustuz’s and Hansel’s back in the day (most likely Hansel’s because Faustuz was forced to wear his older cousin’s clothes until he got too tall and wore his uncle’s old clothes). Freud doesn’t get as much attention compared to the other two pets (Klimt and Frl. Flicka), but it’s probably because he’s such a troublemaker digging up Freyja’s garden and steals sandwiches from plates, landing him in the covered outdoor area of the house called the “Doghouse” (it’s also where Faustuz sleeps when he’s not in good favors with his wife Freyja). As usual, I added animated effects using the app Pixaloop. I also included the line art for anyone who wants to color it themselves (tag @frauv8 #frauv8colorthisin so I can find your work easily). - Johannes Faustuz has jars of bizarre specimens he has inherited and collected over the years displayed in his work office (Who can spot the Meerjunfrau?🧜🏼‍♀️). He’s also an avid collector of miscellaneous books and periodicals in English, German, and Japanese (sometimes Danish, though he’s not fluent) since he likes reading in his spare time when he’s not diagnosing diseases, performing operations, or traveling abroad tracking down and capturing/killing rogue mythical creatures. Somewhere amongst his books is a copy of Freyja’s fashion magazine - can you find it? - Faustuz has his hair up this time, and is wearing a bright green collared shirt paired with a magenta tie. He’s a man who likes being punctual and efficient thus he often wears high-end watches to make sure he’s always on time (his watch here is based off a NOMOS). Not making comics could be a bit of a challenge since these are my OCs, and they need occasional stories to make them more interesting aside from the commentary added below each post. ————————————————————— ORIGINAL COMMENTARY: Still might be too raunchy for some people, but if you think that’s raunchy, I’m very capable of drawing something even more revealing that it’ll hurt your eyes (not just nudity, but horrible color combinations as well). - Comment below if you want me to restore the original post of the short comic version on my Feed again; otherwise, it tells me to not make anymore short stories (it’s very apparent that people don’t like it when I try something different like comics or drawing exposed bodies🤦🏻‍♀️). I guess it’s literally back to the drawing board called an iPad Pro... But he can’t see without his glasses... or can he? 🤔 Freyja likes wearing Faustuz’s aviators as a fashion accessory so he often bumps around until he can find a spare pair of glasses, wears contacts, or uses “Odin’s Eye” to get by. But using his ability makes him prone to exhaustion, leading to irritability and being more grouchy than usual. - Kinda went for a retro 1980s anime style for this one, lol. Freyja’s got big hair while Faustuz has a something like a... mullet? This one is basically hues of green, red, yellow with black line art and white accents for the eyes and lab coat. I kept the coloring flat since the line art is dark and quite bold. The line art style is a bit reminiscent of my inking with Sharpies back in 2006-07. I included both versions of the line art for coloring (just tag @frauv8 #colorthis_fv8). - The second version with Papa Kasper’s hair up was my final choice because it seems more balanced with the blank space (original version on last slide). No glasses for either one of them since the frames will interfere with the limited details on their faces, and the pic isn’t big and zoomed in. Another simple color scheme pic with these two guys.🤦🏻‍♀️ I really need to find more challenging color schemes, lol. This one is basically hues of green, red, yellow with black line art and white accents for the eyes and lab coat. I kept the coloring flat since the line art is dark and quite bold. The line art style is a bit reminiscent of my inking with Sharpies back in 2006-07. I included both versions of the line art for coloring (just tag @frauv8 #colorthis_fv8). - The second version with Papa Kasper’s hair up was my final choice because it seems more balanced with the blank space (original version on last slide). No glasses for either one of them since the frames will interfere with the limited details on their faces, and the pic isn’t big and zoomed in. As usual, Cedrick has his mismatched scrubs and shoes (pink slipper on one foot, Adidas Superstar on the other) while his father Johannes Faustuz is in dark grey scrubs topped with a lab coat and wears Puma Suedes.
