1961: Heinrich “Ricky” and his little brother Richard “Dickie”. (Slide 4: The Kasper Brothers c. 1979) - 1961 was the year when their mother Ida left the family for a younger American soldier; since then, Olaf grew more cruel and strict with the boys, especially with Richard - the son he believed to be the reason why his wife ran away. Heinrich, as the older and favorite child, tries his best to keep his rambunctious brother out of trouble while lessening the pain of loosing their mother and father’s constant criticism. The brothers were close despite their 5 year age gap and opposing personalities, often seen together playing football/soccer and drinking beer as they grew older into adulthood. Heinrich has always been stoic, quiet, and serious while Richard was the more outgoing, hot-tempered, but very intelligent brother. Their relationship was often strained when Heinrich gave up his duty of the family heir for love when he married a foreign woman, forcing the carefree Richard to take up the rigid work his brother left behind; but with the birth of his nephew Hansel and niece Hannah, Richard’s anger cooled enough to continue being the supportive younger brother. Heinrich (like most of the other family) was initially not fond of Richard’s decision to marry Sigrid, even more so when it was revealed that she was only a teenager and had a life curse; but after meeting the girl, he was quite impressed with her sharp wit and her strong will to live despite having a shortened lifespan (he enjoyed playing chess with her, discussing current events, and admired her gardening skills). Like Richard, Heinrich was deeply affected by Sigrid’s death after giving birth to the next family heir; in the remaining months of Richard’s life, Heinrich made efforts to assist his brother in taking care of his work and son. Heinrich then makes the decision to pick up Johannes Faustuz from Africa and raise him alongside his own children, much to his wife Yoko’s disapproval of raising another child with their limited resources. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #ipaddrawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #brothers #soccerball

Quick poses of Cedrick Kasper and Tricia Williams wearing quarantine attire. I’d happily wear either of their outfits any day, but what I wear for work is just as comfortable (I usually wear dark leggings with a t-shirt, polo, or soccer jersey, ball cap, and black shoes). I really enjoy quick fashion pose doodles like these, and sometimes I’d want to make a more elaborate version of them later on (perhaps I should do a poll on which of the two deserves a redraw). ——— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalsketch #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #frauv8_ocs #pink #red #yellow #blue #black #teenagers #boy #girl #fashion #activewear

Football / Soccer jerseys for this activewear/sportswear compilation because I feel like it. - Comment below and let me know which one is your favorite jersey. I think it’s obvious which ones I like most of the four (I own more than one white jersey, lol), but by far, my favorite has been 2018/2019 Germany’s jersey because it’s a beautiful shade of green (last slide). - The Swedish jersey bugs me so much because it’s a shade of what I call “Minion” yellow (yet I still bought one, but only because it was on sale and I can wear it when it gets super hot and humid🤦🏻‍♀️). If it’s not a hair color, yellow is a color I have difficulty with because it has such an intense presence. — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #men #man #boy #teen #malecharacters #soccer #football #jerseys #fashion #frauv8_ocs

Today’s #workdrawing: Tyrone’s family - his niece Tricia, wife Asia, and daughter Queenie. - Tricia is Tyrone’s older sister’s daughter, who he ended up being her guardian after tragic circumstances. She’s got attitude like any teenage girl, and hates babysitting her cousin Queenie - she’d rather hang out at the mall with her best friend Carmen. Because of that, Tyrone often has to call up Cedrick as a last-minute boy-sitter whenever she bails; this leads to a lot of tension between the two teenagers despite Tyrone wanting the two to get along. Tricia claims she doesn’t like Cedrick, but Queenie thinks otherwise and gets jealous. - Tyrone met his wife randomly at a sports bar; they made a bet on which (American) football team would win, and Tyrone won, in which Asia had to go out on a date with him. At first, she didn’t like him, but after finding out that he takes care of his elderly grandmother while studying hard to become a doctor, she decided to give him a chance, and the two eventually got married and had their daughter Queenie. Asia owns and runs a beauty salon, which Freyja has given high ratings in her magazine. - Quinella, or “Queenie” as everyone calls her, is Tyrone’s adorable daughter who just started kindergarten. She’s mischievous, adventurous, and likes to run away from her father whenever she can - especially if he refuses to give her something she wants. She’s likes being around her cousin even though Tricia gets annoyed with her. Queenie is also very attached to Cedrick like a little sister, and gets jealous whenever he’s around Tricia, Carmen, or any other girl. — #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #originalcharacterdrawing #femalecharacters #sketchbook #dottednotebook #leuchtturm1917 #penart #pendrawing #inkart #inkdrawing #pilotpen #frixion #frixionball #frixioncolors

Hr. Dr. Kasper wearing the #heartshirt at work - Part 3. - It’s his boss and colleague, the hospital director Docteur Leyon DeValuer this time. - The director has been Johannes Faustuz’s mentor since he was a wee med student, and is his partner when it comes to advanced lab work (Cedrick will occasionally help out if he’s not busy with operations or sleeping); the two are co-winners of multiple awards, and in this made up universe, are winners of a Noble prize for developing a treatment for cancer that doesn’t involve chemo. - Dr. DeValuer often treats the Herr Doktor as a son since he’s close in age to his own son Vincent-Claude; but Dr. DeValuer can also turn face on Hr. Dr. Kasper for whatever reason whether it’s for fun, rivalry, or just to see his protégé suffer in misery (i.e. this year’s World Cup was brutal for Faustuz but pure joy for Leyon). - Despite their differences in personalities and nationalities, these two together unite to be the most feared and respected doctors in the hospital: Hr. Dr. Kasper is known for his death glares and strict enforcement of rules, while Dr. DeValuer often sneaks up on people with a cool smile. — #digitalart #digitalartwork #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #sketchbookapp #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #doctors #francejersey

It’s #bastilleday today! And #France is in the #finals of the #worldcup2018 - quelle chance! 🇫🇷 - Here we have the Kaspers with the DeValuers, and both Vincent-Claude and his father Leyon waste no time to get their counterparts ready for the match tomorrow. Can’t say either Cedrick or Johannes Faustuz are just as enthused knowing their bad luck rooting for their home country of Germany, then Mama’s Sweden, and thirdly Belgium after some recycling. Even I’m nervous - so much heartbreak when Germany, Japan, Sweden, Belgium, and England all got knocked out on the way, and I only got France left on my list. So ALLEZ LES BLEUS! 🇫🇷 But if Croatia 🇭🇷 wins, it’s fitting with the how crazy this tournament has been. — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #sketchbookapp #originalcharacters #originalcharacterdrawing #malecharacters #allezlesbleus #allezlesbleus🇫🇷 #vivelafrance #worldcup #worldcupfever #frauv8_ocs

Welp, no big match between England and France. This #worldcup has been full of surprises with so many top teams and favorites out early in the tournament (*cough cough* Germany, Argentina, Portugal, Spain) - Looks like Rufus will be drinking more beer after watching the game at the bar where Johannes Faustuz often hangs out after a long shift at work. At least England can win third place - it’d be a rematch versus Belgium. Should be a good game. — #digitaldrawing #ipadprodrawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterdrawing #malecharacters #drinkingbeer #worldcup2018

Allez Les Bleus! 🇫🇷 I’ve always wondered if France vs England was going to be a thing for the final, and we might get it! We’ll see how tomorrow’s game turns out. - The Kaspers have the devil’s luck picking winning teams, lol. Papa’s Germany went out like a green flash, Mama’s Sweden survived to the quarterfinals, and Cedrick’s Belgium could still get third place. - Vincent-Claude knows Cedrick is a good cook, so he bet that Cedrick should make French toast if France wins and Belgian waffles if Belgium wins. Rufus is just taking advantage of his stay while observing and interviewing the Kasper family. Now he plans to drop by again for tomorrow’s game and possibly the World Cup knowing how lively this household gets during global competitions. — #digitaldrawing #ipadprodrawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterdrawing #malecharacters #cooking

The other person everyone is afraid of at the hospital aside from Cedrick’s father (Herr Doktor Kasper) is the director Docteur DeValuer. He’ll show up and sneak up on you when you least expect it. He’s not very pleased with the younger Herr Doktor’s choice to cheer on #teambelgium over France for the #worldcup . - Docteur DeValuer says: “What is that? A Belgian flag?” Je ne parle pas Français, but I know some (I did study it for two years; same with Spanish), and my German is even worse (had a pen pal ages ago). So getting me to say full phrases and conversing is literally painful for me. 😣 — #inkdrawing #pendrawing #pensketch #sketchbook #leuchtturn1917 #leuchtturm1917 #pilotpen #frixonpen #kuretakebrushpen #highlighterpen #originalcharacters #originalcharactersketch #originalcharacterdrawing

It’s alright Mama Kasper - it happens. You can’t always win. An interview with Rufus isn’t going to kill you. And Cedrick, you better not let Docteur DeValuer see you with that flag at work - he’d really give you a hard time for not rooting for France. Ditto with Vincent-Claude. — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterdrawing #family #worldcup2018 #teambelgium

Well, we got #france and #belgium for the #worldcup2018 #semifinals. Now the problem is that I like both! 🇫🇷😖🇧🇪 - I drew France and Belgium from #hetalia - and knowing France, he’s a bit of a charmer regardless of the other country’s sex, lol. Boy, this game was something... So many yellow cards everywhere that it made me think of post-its, lol. And those penalty shots were nerve racking - I was freaking out for #teamengland . But they’re in! They broke the penalty kick curse! - So about post-its... Yeah, I ended up making this - took a while to post it. (Pun!) - Rufus McClaine is my English OC who occasionally works with Freyja Ström who’s Swedish. So I got two fiery redheads against each other for the quarterfinals. Oh boy... I wonder what would they wager. Perhaps an exclusive interview about Freyja’s private life with her husband and son? A photo shoot? Eating a can of Surströmming? (I looked it up, and I rather eat a whole pickle than that - and I HATE pickles. Sauerkraut, on the other hand, I love that stuff.) — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadprodigitalart #sketchbookapp #originalcharacter #malecharacter #soccer #football #worldcup #worldcup2018 #worldcupfever #england #soccerball

#teamsweden wins again today! It’s off to the quarterfinals! But have to admit - that game was slow~ until Sweden snuck in a goal. And it was painful seeing Team Switzerland in tears afterward. And I’m going to be in tears because I won’t be able to watch anymore matches from now on because of work. 😭 I’m going to be stuck on Twitter for updates again. - Here, Freyja got her family together for a celebratory selfie. Papa Kasper is still a bit bitter about Germany not making it, but he’s there to cheer on his wife’s team. Cedrick is just having fun - he’s trying to be neutral as much as possible. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #originalcharacters #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #worldcup #worldcup2018 #worldcupfever #sweden #sverige #family #blueyellow #yellowblue

Took a while to make it... But wow - 🇧🇪 vs 🇯🇵 was an amazing game! Haven’t watched a game that good since 2010. 🇧🇷 vs 🇲🇽 wasn’t bad, but at times I found it annoying, especially with the over dramatic “OW!” expressions from Brazilian players and a Mexican player stepping on his opponent’s ankle... Seriously, WTF. Definitely the words for this World Cup for me are shocking and schadenfreude. - Anyway, it’s at a sports bar with Kimiko, Granger, and Johannes Faustuz.
