Another random quick outfit/pose drawing of this guy... Wasn’t sure which expression to do, so I included both. I’m still trying to figure out something more elaborate to draw for the season, but with work and feeling depressed about the state of where I live in comparison to other places in the world, it’s getting harder to look forward to making new things (and my birthday is coming up: it’s on Christmas Eve and 2020 is my “Jesus year” - more reason to hate this year). — #malecharacter #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #characterdesign #fashion #man

First pic of December 2020 (colored version). I’ve been super busy and lazy at the same (work and not feeling like drawing). Couldn’t quite decide what to do with this pic, so here’s a bunch of different variations. - Another intimate moment with Richard and Sigrid. After officially becoming a couple, Richard would often visit and stay over at Aina’s flower shop/house in Sigrid’s room after weekly trips abroad, especially if he was too tired to make it to his extended family’s hotel. He was always looking forward to spending nights with her for obvious reasons, but his biggest concern was to enjoy every moment they can be together with Sigrid nearing the end of her life from her father’s curse. — #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #man #woman #bed #bedroom #bedsheets #window #stuffedanimals #sleeping #embrace #pixaloop #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart

It’s pretty obvious I like skeletons and flowers. I’m running out of ideas and inspiration... I thought I was done drawing this guy outfits! 😫 I’m sorry for not posting as much/as often due to burnout and feeling like a mindless zombie after work. I’m trying to start another short story with my OCs, but it’s so hard to get going and focused with a brain that’s turning into mush in this stressful environment called America (I live in California where it’s not skyrocketing cases, but even so, I feel like people aren’t taking things seriously with the pandemic). — There’s a reason why Johannes Faustuz doesn’t like growing out a beard, but there’s times it can’t be helped. When he has one, he strongly resembles a certain someone who he doesn’t like and doesn’t like him in return (it’s actually how he got his Instagram username 🧔🏼). Many assume he’s “Hr./Mr. Ström” being Freyja’s elusive husband, but that title belongs to Freyja’s father Erik; because of people’s quick assumptions about him, the Ström Family gave him the pseudonym “Jonah Fritz Ström” to use in public and media events while he uses his own name when practicing medicine or teaching (and not looking as glamorous in what Freyja dresses him up with). —— #malecharacter #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #fashion #outfit #man #stripes #longhair

Idk if I’m getting better or worse with my art, lol. I know for sure that I’m getting really tired and lazy, and work has been taking a toll on me (I got mask-ne, hair loss, lack of sleep, and I’m suspecting that I’ve been grinding my teeth while I’m sleeping; I ordered mouth-guards and a twin-sized weighted blanket to hopefully help me cope with my stress). The background is based off the photo of Starbucks in the last slide (found it online via Pinterest, not mine). Both father’s and son’s outfits are based off of real ones (also included in slides). The Kaspers currently live in Los Angeles since they can’t go back to either Kiel or Stockholm due to European travel bans. Even though they can’t go far from their house, California has a lot to offer to do while quarantining. One of their favorite things to do is just walk around for hours to see the sights and enjoy whatever food is available (otherwise, they stay home fighting over TV and video games whenever Papa Kasper isn’t teaching on Zoom). — #autodesksketchbook #pixaloop #malecharacter #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #lineart #ipaddrawing #coffeeshop #starbucks #sweater #facemask #lights #fatherandson #boy #man

Day 30: Full Doctor’s Attire 2 - PPE - This is what many doctors and nurses are wearing right now while working hard to save lives; they still desperately need help getting the proper equipment to fight the pandemic, especially now with Winter coming. Hr. Dr. Kasper usually only wore PPE in the operating room, but with COVID-19, it became an everyday outfit until his oncology ward was converted for more beds and he was furloughed for reasons (elective surgeries constantly postponed, having a mental breakdown, staff reduction at the hospital due to lack of finances, the boss finding out that he’s a Grim Reaper, etc.). It’s not really known when he’ll work again at the hospital (both he and Cedrick want to), but whenever he does, he’ll be wearing this outfit until the unforeseeable future. — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #digitalart #digitaldrawing #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #man #inktober #inktober2020 #clothing #outfit #doctor #ppe #outfitoftheday #digitalink

Day 24 Gardener •Overalls •Buttoned Shirt •Sun Hat •Boots •Shovel - Hr. Dr. Kasper takes after his mother Sigrid in regards to plants, especially flowers (he’s also been told that he looks a lot like her, only much taller and blond like his father Richard). Having a green thumb is his only connection with her since she had died soon after he was born; as a child, he would always ask his grandmother Aina about his mother and what plants were her favorites to grow (Hydrangeas, Cornflowers, Irises, and Tulips). Because his lay knowledge of plants, he has set up a large garden for his wife Freyja to enjoy when she’s home from work; lots of little creatures like Rosemarie and her fellow fairies also enjoy staying in the fairy houses set up in the Kaspers’ garden. Johannes Faustuz also grows some vegetables and fruits to feed certain creatures since they can’t easily find their source of food in these modern times (Turnips for Wolpertingers, Eggplants for Hyōsubes, Etc.). — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #digitalart #digitaldrawing #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #man #inktober #inktober2020 #clothing #outfit #outfitoftheday #digitalink #gardener

The dark side of the Herr Doktor revealed as he takes down a rogue monster with a Ström Corporations scythe. It’s gotta be quite a large one for Hr. Dr. Kasper to use a scythe because Kaspers are normally known for using scalpels, syringes, and other unusual surgical tools for soul reaping and monster extermination. - This was a really quick simple drawing, unlike the other pics of him for Inktober 2020. Probably because I wanted to draw something a bit more creepy as Halloween draws near. — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #man #maddoctor #scythe #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing

Day 11: Suit 1 •Navy Blue - A tailored suit with a pair of leather riding boots and large neon green umbrella to walk through the rain which occurs every now and then throughout the year at the Kaspers’ hometown of Kiel (not so much in their second home of Los Angeles - unless it’s Winter). — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #digitalart #digitaldrawing #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #man #inktober #inktober2020 #clothing #outfit #outfitoftheday #digitalink #digitalinktober #digitalinktober2020

A quick pic of Tricia Williams wearing a shirt to remind everyone to VOTE. - I got my mail-in ballot yesterday, so my homework over the week is to read over everything in the booklet and voting packet to make sure I fill it out properly and have it sent ASAP to make it count. — #autodesksketchbook #femalecharacter originalcharacterart #originalcharacter #digitalart #digitaldrawing #vote #vote2020 #blacktshirt #bluejeans #black #brown #blue

Sidetrack pic of Fall fashion and colors with this father and son duo; I might be making more of these kind of pics throughout the month with other OCs. Another pic found from the Scrap Pile that I finished up... I’m not going to sleep well with the neighboring apartment building’s fire alarm constantly blaring for hours (no firefighters around to turn it off because there’s the Bobcat Fire still blazing), and after watching the sh!tstorm of a debate that happened...🤦🏻‍♀️ — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #malecharacter #femalecharacter #originalcharacterart #originalcharacters #couple #animestyle

It’s been a long time since I posted something... I’m really burned out from work, having lack of sleep, and severely suffering from Artist Block. Even the fashion Richard and Sigrid are wearing are off-season... (it’s Fall now, but still feels like Summer) - This was a quick #charactersheet made using the new mini posing figures I bought from Amazon recently; the figures just happen to be the right height difference for these two (as well as Freyja and Faustuz), which is going to be a great help drawing OCs from now on. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #femalecharacter #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #originalcharacterdesign

1961: Heinrich “Ricky” and his little brother Richard “Dickie”. (Slide 4: The Kasper Brothers c. 1979) - 1961 was the year when their mother Ida left the family for a younger American soldier; since then, Olaf grew more cruel and strict with the boys, especially with Richard - the son he believed to be the reason why his wife ran away. Heinrich, as the older and favorite child, tries his best to keep his rambunctious brother out of trouble while lessening the pain of loosing their mother and father’s constant criticism. The brothers were close despite their 5 year age gap and opposing personalities, often seen together playing football/soccer and drinking beer as they grew older into adulthood. Heinrich has always been stoic, quiet, and serious while Richard was the more outgoing, hot-tempered, but very intelligent brother. Their relationship was often strained when Heinrich gave up his duty of the family heir for love when he married a foreign woman, forcing the carefree Richard to take up the rigid work his brother left behind; but with the birth of his nephew Hansel and niece Hannah, Richard’s anger cooled enough to continue being the supportive younger brother. Heinrich (like most of the other family) was initially not fond of Richard’s decision to marry Sigrid, even more so when it was revealed that she was only a teenager and had a life curse; but after meeting the girl, he was quite impressed with her sharp wit and her strong will to live despite having a shortened lifespan (he enjoyed playing chess with her, discussing current events, and admired her gardening skills). Like Richard, Heinrich was deeply affected by Sigrid’s death after giving birth to the next family heir; in the remaining months of Richard’s life, Heinrich made efforts to assist his brother in taking care of his work and son. Heinrich then makes the decision to pick up Johannes Faustuz from Africa and raise him alongside his own children, much to his wife Yoko’s disapproval of raising another child with their limited resources. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #ipaddrawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #brothers #soccerball
