Today’s #workdrawing.
This time I decided to digitally ink and color the #sketch with the #sketchbookautodeskapp in my #ipadpro; normally I would have colored it traditionally, but I wanted to experiment.
-
Fantasy Concept: Freyja enjoying time with her newborn son Cedrick. Being a warrior, she spends most of her time hunting for food; her husband Faustuz spends his time studying magic, which also means he stays home taking care of the baby.

Yesterday’s and the day before’s #workdrawing that got finished at home as usual.
-
I don’t usually draw these two as children for my fantasy concept. In this storyline, Freyja and Faustuz weren’t as cuddly with each other at this stage in life. In fact, Freyja was very pushy and abusive to the point Faustuz fights back and even thinks about killing her to escape. But because she declared out loud that he belongs to her, thus “imprinted” on him according to mage tradition, he’s committed to take care of her as his mate for life.

It’s #lefthandersday today!
No, I’m not #lefthanded, but I have plenty of #lefties in my family (brother, grandmother, aunt, etc.)
-
So what about my characters?
Cedrick is often said to be a clone of his father, but there’s one big trait he shares with his mother Freyja: he’s a leftie just like her. So for the Kaspers, 2/3 lefties rule. 🤚🏻

Yesterday’s #workdrawing .
Seriously - I’ve been drawing my #originalcharacters with #coffee lately. 🤦🏻♀️
I guess I can call it the “Coffee Cahier”, lol. But I’m sure it’s just a phase since I’ve been caffeine deprived the past several days.

This #pendrawing is more #cyan than #blue in reality. It’s another #drawing done in my #moleskinecahier ; I started it at work but finished it at home as I relax from a long day of work. As usual, it’s #handdrawn with a #frixon #pen.
-
Freyja often likes wearing her husband’s #glasses for fun as a fashion accessory. But poor Johannes Faustuz needs them to see properly, so he risks walking into things without them.

So I heard it’s #internationalcatday today. 🐈
-
I haven’t shared these cute #doodles of Klimt, the Kaspers’ big fluffy orange #norwegiancat .

Back to the fantasy concept again. What did Cedrick do this time to get tapped on the head by his father? Obviously something very stupid, lol.

Another work drawing from yesterday I had to touch up at home.
-
I’m finally off work for two days, so I’ll try to squeeze in a digital pic soon.

It’s been awhile since I drew something, even if it’s just something quick on my mini sketchbook during some down time at work. Didn’t get the chance to block out the background with black ink as usual since being more occupied with my job this time. Work comes first - somehow I gotta pay my bills.

It’s #bastilleday today!
And #France is in the #finals of the #worldcup2018 - quelle chance! 🇫🇷
-
Here we have the Kaspers with the DeValuers, and both Vincent-Claude and his father Leyon waste no time to get their counterparts ready for the match tomorrow. Can’t say either Cedrick or Johannes Faustuz are just as enthused knowing their bad luck rooting for their home country of Germany, then Mama’s Sweden, and thirdly Belgium after some recycling. Even I’m nervous - so much heartbreak when Germany, Japan, Sweden, Belgium, and England all got knocked out on the way, and I only got France left on my list. So ALLEZ LES BLEUS! 🇫🇷 But if Croatia 🇭🇷 wins, it’s fitting with the how crazy this tournament has been.

The cornflowers kinda look like carnations in a way.

Allez Les Bleus! 🇫🇷
I’ve always wondered if France vs England was going to be a thing for the final, and we might get it! We’ll see how tomorrow’s game turns out.
-
The Kaspers have the devil’s luck picking winning teams, lol. Papa’s Germany went out like a green flash, Mama’s Sweden survived to the quarterfinals, and Cedrick’s Belgium could still get third place.
-
Vincent-Claude knows Cedrick is a good cook, so he bet that Cedrick should make French toast if France wins and Belgian waffles if Belgium wins. Rufus is just taking advantage of his stay while observing and interviewing the Kasper family. Now he plans to drop by again for tomorrow’s game and possibly the World Cup knowing how lively this household gets during global competitions.

Well, we got #france and #belgium for the #worldcup2018 #semifinals.
Now the problem is that I like both! 🇫🇷😖🇧🇪
-
I drew France and Belgium from #hetalia - and knowing France, he’s a bit of a charmer regardless of the other country’s sex, lol.
And it’s #internationalkissingday .

It’s only a matter of time before Tyrone realizes it’s really Johannes Faustuz. And wait until the director finds out about his photo shoot - Docteur DeValuer would be more than happy to share for publicity.

#teamsweden wins again today! It’s off to the quarterfinals!
But have to admit - that game was slow~ until Sweden snuck in a goal. And it was painful seeing Team Switzerland in tears afterward. And I’m going to be in tears because I won’t be able to watch anymore matches from now on because of work. 😭 I’m going to be stuck on Twitter for updates again.
-
Here, Freyja got her family together for a celebratory selfie. Papa Kasper is still a bit bitter about Germany not making it, but he’s there to cheer on his wife’s team. Cedrick is just having fun - he’s trying to be neutral as much as possible.

Took a while to make it...
But wow - 🇧🇪 vs 🇯🇵 was an amazing game! Haven’t watched a game that good since 2010.
🇧🇷 vs 🇲🇽 wasn’t bad, but at times I found it annoying, especially with the over dramatic “OW!” expressions from Brazilian players and a Mexican player stepping on his opponent’s ankle... Seriously, WTF.
Definitely the words for this World Cup for me are shocking and schadenfreude.
-
Anyway, it’s at a sports bar with Kimiko, Granger, and Johannes Faustuz. A very unlikely trio to be hanging around each other, but it was chance. A little love for the loosing teams.

Yay for #teamsweden 🇸🇪!
Freyja is so happy her team won.
We can’t say her husband is as ecstatic, especially having to model for her magazine in whatever she wants. 😅

Is it #nationalpineappleday or #nationalsunglassesday ? Both!
-
Either way, Papa Kasper is wearing pineapple sunglasses as he drinks a pineapple coconut cocktail feeling pretty miserable after his team lost today in the World Cup. As a man of his word, he’ll be modeling for his wife’s magazine since her team made it to the knockout round. So drink up Faustuz - you’re going to need it.

Finished.
I’m going to be busy with work again soon, so that’s why I have so many pics crammed in lately.
-
I believe this is the first pic I posted of these two in the act of kissing rather than the moment before or after. And Faustuz dressed up for a date with his wife rather than his usual work attire.
