Another quick drawing of these two...
Thought about adding flowers, but I’m too lazy and tired to do so - maybe another time.😴
(but then it’ll give off Hades/Persephone vibes...)
I also included the stages of drawing this pic (proof that my process isn’t always very clean).

Wunderkind’s Notes on the #leprechaun.
Most Leprechauns are harmless pranksters, often traveling far around the world to cause trouble, but occasionally there’s one so bad that he gets the attention of the Kaspers (Hr. Dr. Kasper with Freyja’s four cousins had to kill one up in Stockholm at the Ström estate after he smeared Unicorn poop on the walls, shattered windows, and broke sacred family rune stones).
They bury their gold in Unicorn poop, which adds a little stink to the saying “A pot of gold can be found at the end of a rainbow.”🌈

Quick sketchy drawing of this feathered-haired guy from the late 1970s thru early 1980s.
💀
Richard Kasper had been admired, despised, and feared by those involved with the mythical and occult.
Like his father “The Black Skull of Kiel”, Richard was efficient in his job reaping souls and killing monsters; as a Kasper, he had a taste for bloodlust and revenge if offended even in the slightest bit - making him the most feared Grim Reaper in Europe after Olaf.
Richard was also quite the playboy prior to meeting Sigrid, enjoying the pleasure of loving women then shattering their hearts once he’s done with them (7 girlfriends, 4 one-nighters, and an ex-fiancée).
But Richard was also known for his attempts to create treatments for patients and clients that often lacked potency, making people call him a “Quack” (why Erik Ström disliked him when treating his wife Sonja’s lung condition; Sonja, on the other hand, was grateful having a doctor willing to help her despite the odds).
Everyone was shocked when Richard finally settled down, mainly because he married a teenage girl with a life curse that was due in a few years (Richard felt so much pity for Sigrid that he wanted to take care of her until her death, resulting the birth of their son Johannes Faustuz); but everyone was also quite shocked how quickly Richard deteriorated after his wife’s death, showing that he’s not the heartless heir of his father’s legacy.
-
Hr. Dr. Kasper knows he’s got a lot to live up to meet Richard’s accomplishments; he dislikes certain characteristics of his father (being a cruel playboy, conning certain clients due to their morals, marrying Sigrid who was nearly half his age, etc.), and absolutely hates it when people (especially his father-in-law Erik Ström) tell him how much he resembles Richard.

Quick drawing of Aunt Yoko and Uncle Heinrich wearing matching red outfits in their younger years.❤️
-
Heinrich met Yoko in Hiroshima, Japan in the early 1970s during a business trip.
Yoko was the only daughter and assistant of Heinrich’s client who was in need of a “Yōkai hunter” (Kaspers are known for reaping souls and killing monsters).
Heinrich fell in love with her at first sight, always giving her a small box of chocolate every time he visited her family’s shrine; Yoko initially kept her distance, but she liked Heinrich for his calm nature and quiet rustic voice.
Within a few months, they were married, moved back to Kiel, and had their two children Hansel and Hannah soon after.

Bonus Sigrid’s Diary Entry 📔
“Hedy the Black Cat”
-
Hedy was Sigrid’s teacher/neighbor’s pet cat that constantly ran away from home and slept in Aina’s greenhouse.
She was named after the famous inventive actress due to her cleverness and striking glance; Hedy was also very affectionate towards Sigrid, Aina, and Richard despite his dislike for cats.
(Kaspers are Grim Reapers and are usually accompanied with Hellhounds, making them “dog-people”; cats are known to have multiple lives and ward off spirits and souls that Grim Reapers need to collect, making it difficult to do Death’s work; there’s also many creatures that resemble cats that often go rogue, like Tatzelwurms)
-
Mr. Vannderhassen often accused Aina of stealing his cat, once saying she had killed it for witchcraft when she didn’t return home (turns out Hedy was fooling around with the neighborhood Tom cat and gave birth to a large litter of kittens in the greenhouse).
Mr. Vannderhassen wasn’t the kindest of neighbors nor the most moral, resulting in his death.
Hedy ended up staying with Aina until her death twenty years later; Aina currently owns a descendant of Hedy - another black cat she named Lamar.

#happyyearoftheox!🐃

Hr. Dr. Kasper’s oldest cousin Hansel was born in 1973, also the Year of the Ox.
He’s a hard-working guy with a cheeky and stubborn personality who can also get a bit competitive with his siblings - especially Johannes Faustuz since he was the other boy in the family (he’s brutal with teasing Faustuz - 2nd slide).
Since he’s the oldest, Hansel claims himself to be in charge of the trio and Yoko’s favorite child (Yoko is actually the most frustrated with him, making Hannah the favorite of her two biological children; as for her favorite child, she hates to admit it but it’s Faustuz).
He has terrible luck with women due to his wandering heart and busy work schedule (married and divorced three times with two adult daughters), but still devotes himself for family by all means - even if his exes and children don’t want anything to do with him.
Hansel has been jealous of his cousin Faustuz for many reasons (his height, being married to the same woman for decades, having a son, etc.), but mostly because Faustuz is the future patriarch of the Kasper Family after their grandfather Olafur.
But at the same time he’s supportive and relieved to not be burdened with such a responsibility despite being a natural hardworking man (Hansel doesn’t have “Odin’s Eye” because he doesn’t have blue eyes - he’s half-Japanese).
-
Whenever Faustuz is home at Kiel and working at the local hospital there, Hansel is his nurse - adding more to the family rivalry between the two.

“I love ...”
Oh my...
Who’d knew Hr. Dr. Kasper had such a potty mouth? 🤣
(sorry - I don’t speak German, but as an English-speaker, sometimes I hear things in other languages that makes me go “WHUT?!”)

I also included a masked version in the 2nd slide (because we’re still all in a pandemic), the original “Dapper Dads” pic, and a heart cookie (Lebkuchenherz) in the end.
