The fifth OC for my wardrobe prompt: Vinnie / Semiformal (another term being thrown out to describe a less formal but more dressy casual look is “Smart Casual”) Vincent-Claude is a Biology/Anthology university professor who often goes out on digs to examine and confirm human specimens; if he’s away, Vinnie has Hr. Dr. Kasper substitute for him (he knows Johannes through his father Leyon, the hospital director). Vinnie is French, a descendant of Pied-Noirs, speaks with a thick accent, and has terrible habits of smoking and flirting with women - particularly the Kaspers’ nurse Kimiko and his student Tricia. Fourth OC for my October wardrobe prompt: Tyrone / Sports Tyrone Williams and his family are originally from Houston, Texas and he’s a big sports fan (he’ll watch any sport just to get a break from work). He works as a Pediatrician at the same hospital in Los Angeles with the Kaspers, Kimiko, and Fatima (I’ve drawn her a few times many years ago, but I should draw her again sometime soon). His niece Tricia attends at the university where Hr. Dr. Kasper occasionally substitutes for Prof. Vinnie DeValeur (who happens to be Tricia’s Biology professor and the hospital director’s son). Tyrone also has a toddler daughter Queenie who often visits the hospital whenever his wife Asia can’t get anyone to watch over her while she working at the family salon (Queenie’s real name is Quinella because she was born on May 5th at 5:55 AM). Third OC for my wardrobe prompt: Kimiko / Raincoat Kimiko Abe is Hr. Dr. Kasper’s nurse at the hospital he works at in Los Angeles (his cousin Hansel is his nurse at his hometown Kiel). Kimiko is from Yokohama, and the oldest of four girls; she’s very sweet, polite, and kind - but on the flip side she’s very klutzy and follows her doctor everywhere at the hospital to avoid getting lost (if he’s too busy, she’ll follow Cedrick, Fatima, or Tyrone instead). She initially wasn’t thrilled about being paired up with Johannes when she first arrived (she actually expected someone Asian like herself), but was surprised and relieved to know her doctor is fluent with Japanese and can help her with paperwork and phrasing (Kimiko still struggles a lot with English; Hr. Dr. Kasper’s second language after German is actually Japanese [his aunt Yoko is half Japanese, half Korean], followed by Danish, English, some Korean, and bits of French and Spanish). Kimiko over time has developed great respect for Johannes, calling him the triple honorific “Herr Doktor-San”; as for Cedrick, she despises him whenever he takes attention away from her doctor and outdoes her in daily tasks such as drawing blood and giving shots (she’s also jealous that he’s a Wunderkind and graduated school earlier than she did). Kimiko currently has no romantic interests; she had developed a slight crush on Johannes, but it didn’t last long after learning he was happily married and has a son. Staff often teases her whenever she’s around Cedrick since he’s the closest to her age (she’s 20-22, over six years older than him), but she loudly proclaimed that she prefers “older men”. Second OC for October’s wardrobe prompt: Sigrid / Formal Sigrid Faustus-Jörgensen is one of my OCs set in the 1980s (hence the pink frilly gown she’s wearing here), the daughter of an albino Wicca and Denmark’s most powerful Warlock. Her father cursed her soon after her birth, disappointed she wasn’t the son he wanted and not even an Enchantress (the class of Witches who don’t require potions to activate their magical powers, unlike the class of Wicca who rely on potions); she was to die before adulthood and her stolen lifespan was transferred to extend her father’s. Despite being Wicca, Sigrid became the top student in her class due to her inherited power from her father. Cursed with a limited lifespan, she had difficulty making friends amongst classmates; even her childhood crush Batty dismissed her as “not worth his time”. Being isolated made her very attentive to plants she grew for her mother’s flower shop and play video games daily at the local arcade (Sigrid would often refer to her plants as “her children”). Sigrid’s soul was also marked to be collected by Death Himself when her time was finally up; with 2-5 years left to live, Europe’s top Reaper arrived to observe and wait until he can take her soul on Death’s behalf. Initially Sigrid didn’t like Richard based on his playboy reputation and violent methods of killing mythical monsters, and she did figure out that his true identity as Death Himself, but after almost a year later the pair were inseparable and deeply in love. (Seriously, I don’t understand the appeal of puffy sleeves and shoulder pads - it’s not a very flattering look for the most part) It’s not often Sigrid has her hair styled up into a ponytail and wearing something that’s not her school uniform, but when she got the chance to wear stuff not school related she went all out (she made her own dresses based off latest trends). It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these… • Richard enjoys new technology whenever it comes out, especially with his true self being an entity existing over hundreds of thousands of years (Death loves watching mankind struggle to survive and progress, hoping one day it’ll become a challenge to collect their souls). As a teenager, Sigrid is also drawn to anything new and exciting - and Richard’s Walkman has definitely caught her attention (only thing is that she hates listening to his Disco music from the 70s; Sigrid is a fan of 80s Synth-Pop & New Romance). • In occasions, Sigrid likes taking and using some of Richard’s belongings like she’s a nosy little sister (especially if it’s tech and media related). Richard finds it more cute than annoying knowing Sigrid’s only curious about him and his stuff (as for his actual younger half-sister Sabrina, he hates how intrusive she is because she does so on purpose to infuriate him; Sabrina also despised Sigrid, calling her a “ugly and plain Wicca flower girl”). • Because of their large age gap, people initially didn’t see Sigrid and Richard as a couple (something they took advantage of at first since her school prohibited dating). But as time passed by, it became more apparent that the two were extremely close and always seen together; it was officially confirmed when classmates caught them kissing at the arcade and reported it to their homeroom teacher, leading to Sigrid’s expulsion from the academy (the headmistress was reluctant to expel her since Sigrid was the academy’s top student and her stepdaughter; Sigrid could only stay if she gave up her relationship with Richard, but she refused). I’m still alive… I’m still awake… Work has also been busy (they really missed me, lol). And I’m barely surviving mentally with Creative Burnout, Artist’s Block, and keeping up with my Duolingo lessons (I’m surprised how much French I still remember from High School and College, and I’m actually starting to appreciate German despite being a frustrating language). Here’s something I finally finished that has been sitting in the Scrap Pile since June (not everything I doodle gets finished - sometimes it takes months to get back to or it’s never). For those who haven’t been up to date with my Instastories and wondering why I haven’t posted anything in a week, it’s because I got COVID-19. 🤒 I’m really in a dark mood with my condition one day feeling fine and the next (like today) feeling like I’m not getting better. I’m definitely over the sore throat, but the nasal congestion, coughing, and low grade fever just keeps pounding me in waves to retreat back to the couch and wallow in misery. 🛋 COVID is no joke - do whatever you can to avoid the worst of it. 🦠 So ja… Idk how much longer before I’m well enough to get a negative test… Plus side is that I can log in and do some stuff remotely, but I’ll have to limit how much I do online knowing most likely I won’t be paid until I’m actually back onsite.
