💀Page 4:
“That’s a Cipactli?!”
The Cipactli is just as tall as him at about 200cm/6’6”, but weighs twice if not triple Hr. Dr. Kasper’s weight in pure muscle.
No way Granger could of taken it down herself, even if her mother and younger sister came in to help out, because it’s so tall and massive.
Thus why Granger brought Hr. Dr. Kasper to fight it.

Wunderkind‘s Notes: Cipactli
“An ancient Mesoamerican creature that is part fish and amphibian but mostly crocodile. It has no sex and feasts off the flesh of fellow creatures with its multiple mouths. Legend says one ate a foot off the Aztec god Tezcatltpoca as he created the world”.
This creature is muscular, slimy with scales, and constantly hangry.
Because of its legendary status of even attacking beings and creatures considered as deities, the Cipactli has the highest category level for a monster if it goes rogue.
Granger herself wouldn’t be enough to defeat one (she’s fast but not physically strong as a female Reaper, and her sister/Junior Reaper isn’t reliable), so she’s asking Hr. Dr. Kasper to help her (he’s just as big as one at about 200cm/6’6”).
But even Hr. Dr. Kasper has his limits with certain monsters - he’s just as powerful as his father Richard/Death, but as a human he gets tired if a fight goes on for more than 5 hours and a Cipactli can keep fighting for up to 8 before passing out from lack of food.
So Cedrick suggesting that they actually get help from the OG Grim Reaper Death Himself is not a good thing for lots of reasons (Hr. Dr. Kasper has lots of Daddy Issues, and summoning Death Himself for help means Richard showing up temporarily restored as a living human for up to 24 hours).

Quick drawing of Hr. Dr. Kasper in traditional Reaper clothing.

💀 Grim Reaper Notes 💀
As Halloween gets closer, more rogue monsters and lost souls are more abound as the boundaries between the living and dead are weakened due to the waning hours of sunlight, making it a more busy time for Reapers - often times (depending on regional holidays) Reapers may ask for extra help.
When Reapers are relocated outside their country of origin, it’s customary to wear traditional clothing to show that they aren’t native and are only allowed to work under the authority of the regional Reaper family in charge (if they’re back in Kiel where they’re from, the Kaspers wear exclusively modern Reaper clothing; occasionally they wear highly modernized versions of their traditional clothing to accommodate the hot weather in California).
The Kaspers are normally based in Germany/Scandinavia, but due to medical work they are often relocated in Southern California where another Reaper family is based.
The Rodriguez Family are often swamped during Halloween/Dia de Los Muertos, especially with their oldest daughter Granger as their current sole Reaper (Mrs. Rodriguez injured her leg after fighting a rogue jaguar spirit, while second daughter Carmen hates being a Junior Reaper under her sister, often hanging out with BFF Tricia Williams instead); because California used to be Spanish territory, it follows the logic that many countries with Latin/Romance/Slavic-based languages have female Reapers because the word “Death” is feminine and/or their Death goddesses are referred to as female.
Despite Hr. Dr. Kasper having a direct connection with Death Himself and being more experienced as a Reaper, Granger always takes the opportunity to take charge and call him “Juanito” (vaguely translates into “Cute Little Johnny” in Spanish; his first name “Johannes” is an old version of the common name “John”) whenever they work together.

“And what the F- is a Cipactli?!”
(I should make a “Wunderkind’s Notes” on the creature; not sure if I’ll make this a full story - maybe just another page or two of these two Reapers working together)
Granger Rodriguez, her mother Yolanda, and younger sister Carmen are the local Reapers in the Southwestern region of the USA, but every so often they’ll ask for help from the Kaspers whenever they have work in Los Angeles (the Kaspers are normally based in Kiel and are in charge of Northern Europe and Scandinavia).
Granger’s daytime job is a LAPD officer, while Johannes Faustuz is a surgical oncologist/substitute Biology professor.
Reapers mostly focus on collecting human souls after death occurs, but a lot of times human souls transform into mythical creatures depending on circumstances; only when these creatures go rogue is when a Reaper will hunt down the monster to prevent interference with the living.

#sketchdump with a lot of OCs at once…😶
• Asia’s not happy with her hubby Tyrone having a hangover after having several drinks the night before with his “work spouse” Hr. Dr. Kasper.
• Cedrick noticed Stern wasn’t in her fishbowl; since she’s so tiny and prone to drying out after long periods of time, he’s panicking trying to find her (she most likely crawled into a hot cup of tea sitting out in the kitchen).
• Freyja is all dressed up for a red carpet event; she’s caught off guard with someone asking where “Mr. Ström” is for the night.
• Some random guy at the local sports bar made fun of Johannes Faustuz drinking a pink cocktail, calling him a “Girly Man”.
Kaspers are known to be extremely vengeful when insulted, so in retaliation Faustuz challenges him to a drinking contest - whoever drinks the most pink cocktails wins.
Tyrone knows his coworker can tolerate a lot of alcohol, but he’s scared of the other guy getting hurt as well as explaining to Asia his whereabouts late at night.
• Sigrid and Richard out on a rare daytime date in the 1980s.
Most of their dates were at night to avoid people they know who don’t approve of their relationship, but if they want to eat out and play the latest arcade games on the same day then they have to plan a date for an earlier time.

Like his mother Sigrid, Hr. Dr. Kasper has a green thumb and enjoys being around plants whenever he’s feeling stressed.
Most of the plants he grows on his own are placed in “The Doghouse”, an indoor patio section of the family house in California where Freud the Dachshund is mostly kept in to keep out of the backyard where he likes digging up Freyja’s garden and chasing other creatures.

Another #sketchdump…
Took awhile to finish this due to being busy with work and feeling lazy/tired/uninspired the past several days.
•Sigrid likes dressing up in shorts & tanks when she’s not wearing school uniforms/dresses; when it’s nighttime she gets cold since she forgets to bring a sweater/jacket.
Since Richard appeared, he’s been lending his coats which smells like Calvin Klein Obsession (Sigrid thought he’d stink with all the monsters & souls he hunts).
•Hedy (Sigrid’s home room teacher/neighbor Mr. Vannderhassen’s cat) loves sneaking into Aina’s greenhouse for naps and visits with Odin (the neighborhood stray tomcat).
As much as Sigrid and her mother love cats, their neighbor often accuses Aina of stealing his cat and is upset seeing a another man with Sigrid.
•Richard gets calls from Aina at his office in Kiel about Tatzelwurms; they’re weasel/snake-like creatures that burrow underground & drawn to valuable crops (Aina grows flowers, shrubs, and herbs).
He’ll get bloodied with scratches and bites killing them, which leads to stains on Aina’s floors; to prevent them, she’d force Richard to strip off his clothes and rinse off all the blood before getting locked in the bathroom until the laundry was done.
•Sigrid relaxing after a doctor’s appointment; both know they’re expecting a boy but not sure if he’ll look like his mother or father (Johannes Faustuz ended up looking a lot like Richard).
•Faustuz was able to see souls when he was about 3-6 months old; one soul would be floating nearby which scared him; it was his mother’s soul Richard keeps around for sentimental reasons after removing it from Sigrid’s body (Death keeps a special collection of souls of people he loved).
•Aina has a hard time telling her grandson about his parents, esp. since it was Richard as Death who took Sigrid’s soul out; because of this, Faustuz grew up hating his father.

A closer look at two extended family members: Ida & Sabrina Vandenberg.
-
Ida Baum met Olafur Kasper in college; she felt pity for him having burn scars on his face and scalp from the war; they quickly bonded over their shared background in the occult and love of American music.
They married and had Heinrich; Olaf hoped his firstborn was the new incarnation of Death, while Ida took pride in their son wanting to become an occult historian like herself and her parents. It was a surprise when they were expecting a second child; Ida wanted it to be a girl, but both were soon disappointed when it was another boy (Heinrich was happy to have a little brother and gave him the name Richard).
Ida was so depressed after giving birth that her parents took the newborn home with them at Johannesburg to let her recover.
Richard was returned about 5 years later, but Ida became more disturbed when she overheard her youngest son bring up past events about his father she never heard about, revealing that he was the long awaited incarnation of Death within the Kasper family.
Unable to stomach her husband’s past and unhappy not having the daughter she wanted, Ida found love elsewhere with a young American soldier and eloped with him to New York to start a new life with him.
She felt some pity towards her oldest child, occasionally sending him presents and letters of encouragement to continue his studies; however, like Olaf, Ida was cold towards Richard - more so when she had her third child, finally the daughter she always wanted.
-
Sabrina grew up spoiled as an only child; she’s notorious for being posh and cutthroat, but also hardworking and resourceful.
She knew about Heinrich early on, but was shocked when she learned she actually had two older siblings; Sabrina wasn’t interested with either brother, but of the two, she hated Richard mainly because he was the younger one and resembles their mother the most.

Simple drawing, first one in a while…
As long as I don’t clench my hand too much and wear my wrist brace, it’s not too bad...
(I should invest in getting a wrist support for typing too)

It’s Stern the Amabie, one of the Kaspers’ many creatures they’ve taken in whenever they’re in need of a home for whatever reason.
Stern was found at the backyard by the family cat Klimt, who carried her to Hr. Dr. Kasper’s desk as a “present”; she was flown there by a red-tail hawk nesting in a tree, and escaped its nest full of chicks only to fall down and nearly die from sun exposure and dehydration.
Cedrick does his best to keep all the critters happy as caretaker while his father is busy away at work; Stern doesn’t require much other than her water being changed weekly and fed fish flakes daily, but she’s known to crawl out of her fishbowl every now and then to enjoy a bath in a hot cup of tea and chat with her fellow Yōkai Junko the Hyōsube.

A closer look at some of the Re-ment drugstore set items I unboxed earlier.
(My live video is on my IGTV now for anyone who missed it)
Aside from drawing, I also collect dolls and miniatures.
It’s been mentioned to me many times, but yes - my dolls do look a lot like a few of my OCs (Cedrick, Tricia, Freyja); because of that, I do use them occasionally as models.
And since I do have a lot of Re-ment items, I probably should be showing them off by doing more doll photography (I probably have over 1,000 pieces by now).

Papa Kasper and son’s fantasy versions, including past drawings going all the way back to 2017.
-
Johannes Faustuz wears something that resembles a mage and plague doctor; Cedrick wears something like an imperial military uniform (he was conscripted to join The Mad King Erik’s elite naval guard).
Both are skilled in magic, making potions, treating illnesses and injuries, and Necromancy - something only descendants of Death and Blood Elves know.

And finally finished after suffering from fatigue and nausea/vomiting due to a severe migraine…😖
(I get a least one or two a month which sucks)
-
Just wanted to see if I could make something that looks like a retro anime from the 1980s using these two OCs from that time frame.
The greenhouse background is a bit sloppy, proof that I get tired and lazy after a long time.💩
I changed Richard’s face a bit to make him look at his feline-lookalike, and people voted for Sigrid to hold Odin instead of Hedy (Hedy [the black cat] version is the 5th slide).
-
Now that I had made this, I guess I could try making some fan art from the 1970s-1980s anime era (might be time to draw VOLTRON or LADY OSCAR: ROSE OF VERSAILLES).
Comment below to let me know what you think.

Richard Kasper with Hedy and Odin’s last litter of kittens Balder, Thor, and Loki.
Hedy was named after the actress for her dark hair, while Odin was named after the Kaspers’ “Odin’s Eye” ability expressed as Heterochromia; each of their kittens were named after Norse gods based on their looks - the orange one is Thor, the grey one is Loki, and the white one is Balder.
-
As a Grim Reaper/Death, Richard normally isn’t fond of cats having extra lives and often chasing souls away like balls of yarn; but because he’s the incarnation of Death, cats are naturally drawn to him.
Since his girlfriend Sigrid loves cats, Richard’s learned to tolerate them over time - even to the point he lets them sit on him (Hedy actually gave birth to her first litter on his lap).
