Another #sketchdump : Sigrid’s former crush Batty Sorensen. A sketch is missing because it won’t fit within Instagram’s square format (refer to the highlight “SIGRID’S DIARY” to see it). - Sigrid was in love with the local arcade owner’s oldest son Sebastian (nicknamed “Batty”). Batty was 6 years older than her - athletic, stoic, tall, dark-haired, and the beau of the neighborhood (Sigrid wasn’t initially attracted to Richard because he was almost the opposite - Richard was also tall and athletic but fair, blond, wore glasses, outgoing, and much older). She watched him from a distance behind a wall, often blushing and stammering whenever she tried talking with him; Batty would just shove her aside and called her “an annoying waste of space and time” (he was aware of her life curse and felt he should ignore her to avoid becoming attached). Batty enrolled into the police academy after graduating high school, leaving Sigrid in limbo about his whereabouts. Months prior to Richard’s appearance Batty had Sigrid make a bouquet of flowers for him (which she poured her all her love into it); Sigrid’s heart shattered when she heard that he had proposed to an older schoolmate, leaving her bitter and believing she no longer had a chance living out her childhood dream of getting married before her curse takes effect. When Richard started visiting Sigrid and researching at the local university more often, Batty often confronted him to maintain his status as the “hero of the neighborhood”. Batty also didn’t like the fact a foreigner was dating the girl once obsessed with him, forcing him to reexamine his true feelings. After Sigrid’s death, Batty regretted how he treated her when she was alive and wondered how life would’ve been different if he had married her instead (he still hated Richard, carrying over those feelings over to Johannes Faustuz only because he looks like his father). — #malecharacter #femalecharacter #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipaddrawings #drawing #drawings #autodesksketchbook #comic #animestyle #red #blue #green #yellow #pink #purple #violet #man #men #girl #couple

#sketchdump into the 1980s with Sigrid and Richard. There was a 4th sketch, but it wasn’t going to fit within IG’s square format - it’s featured in the highlight “SIGRID’S DIARY” for future reference. • Sigrid’s School Uniform.💼 Sigrid attended an all-girls academy run by nuns, priests, and others familiar with the occult and mythical (it’s a mix of a religious high school with Hogwarts). Her uniform is basically a collared white shirt, a red necktie, a blue sweater or blazer with her school emblem (a red shield with a white cross), a red plaid skirt, black stockings / knee socks, and a pair of oxfords; Sigrid often wore pink leg warmers and jellies sandals with her uniform to add vibrant splashes of color. • Off to Tivoli Gardens.🎡🎠 Sigrid lived in Copenhagen where one of the world’s oldest amusement parks resides; it was also the inspiration for the first Disneyland. Tivoli Gardens was one of their favorite places for late night dates to avoid being easily seen by anyone who didn’t approve of their relationship. Sigrid’s favorite rides were the Ferris wheel, swings, and carousel - which also happen to be Richard’s least favorite rides (he gets motion sickness riding them). • Human Anatomy Books.📚 Sigrid loved textbooks - especially ones with illustrations and photos - but her school didn’t have many because the principal wanted to teach the “ancient ways without modern influences”. Since being acquainted with Richard, she had access to the local university’s library whenever he’s working there. Sigrid favorite books were on botany, but her curiosity had gotten the best of her in regards to human male anatomy. — #frauv8_ocs #frauv8ocs #originalcharacterart #originalcharacters #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #drawing #ipaddrawing #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #man #girl #blue #green #yellow #red #pink #white

Death Himself - Richard’s true form. In each hand he holds the two souls of those he loved in his past life: his wife Sigrid and brother Heinrich. - I guess I’m in a grim mood (in a good way) after binge watching “TRESE” on Netflix (go watch it if you’re into the supernatural - and it’s a nice slice of Pinoy culture 🇵🇭 [I’m half so seeing something representing a part of my heritage is super exciting]). — #frauv8_ocs #frauv8ocs #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #malecharacter #grimreaper #death #bones #skeleton #souls #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #black #white #yellow #blue #pink

Sigrid and Richard wearing complimentary outfits for their summer date at the arcade. - I’ve been having way too much fun drawing retro clothes; I actually had a suggestion to draw a late 1990s/early 2000s look featuring electronics like TAMAGOTCHI, so I’ll have to do some research…🧐 — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #drawing #femalecharacter #malecharacter #originalcharacterart #originalcharacters #frauv8_ocs #man #girl #clothing #shirt #shorts #shoes #purse #socks #glasses #acessories #fashion #1980sfashion #retrostyle #red #blue #green #pink #yellow

Other version of the arcade idea I had, this time from behind and my usual art style with added effects. I feel like I should draw these two again turned around - normally I don’t draw characters from behind. - Ever since Sigrid was really little, she loved going to the arcade. Over the years she’s managed to beat games with only a coin and giving away her prize tickets to little kids to avoid trouble with other regular players; she’s close with the arcade owner and his family, calling him “Uncle Didier”. Richard also enjoys playing arcade games; he and Sigrid would occasionally play against each other to see who would get the highest score. As their relationship progressed, Richard lets Sigrid win more often to avoid having an angry girlfriend at the end of the date; if she lost, he would have to treat her with several ice cream cones to cool her temper (also being lactose intolerant makes going to an ice cream parlor awkward being pressured into buying a scoop for himself). Their son Johannes Faustuz inherited their love of video games, being a big fan of playing games such as ZELDA, POKÉMON, and FINAL FANTASY as a kid in the 90s; he still has his original GAMEBOY, but isn’t too happy with his son Cedrick constantly playing with it. — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #drawing #pixaloop #motionleap #originalcharacterart #originalcharacters #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #arcade #arcaderoom #arcademachine #arcademachines #1980s #green #yellow #red #purple #violet #blue #brown

It feels a bit off… I think it’s a combination of my brushes being too fat and being tired/lazy this round…😓 I’ve been feeling burnt out, and my right wrist has been hurting lately…😖 And yes, that’s my actual handwriting - I still write in cursive unlike most people my age and younger (it’s a lost art and great for calligraphy). - •Miya Chinen Sk8 the Infinity •Saitama One Punch Man •Rock Lee Naruto •Tenya Iida My Hero Academia •Faust VIII Shaman King •Fushi To Your Eternity — #sixfanarts #sixfanart #sixfanartchallenge #fanart #animestyle #sk8theinfinity #miyachinen #onepunchman #saitama #naruto #narutoshippuden #rocklee #myheroacademia #tenyaiida #shamanking #faustviii #toyoureternity #fushi #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #malecharacter #man #boy #frauv8 #animeart #anime

OC Freyja Ström fashion pic. - Thought drawing about the strawberry dress again (because she’s strawberry-blonde), but decided a green polka dot dress would be more interesting. She’s also a fashionista wife, so definitely something more original and contrasting with her hair color would be in order. This is also a dress I’d love to wear if I could wear dresses. (I don’t have any occasions that would allow me to wear dresses - I’m stuck wearing Adidas, Puma, or Nike clothes all the time for practical reasons) — #autodesksketchbook #ipaddrawing #digitalart #digitaldrawing #femalecharacter #woman #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #frauv8_ocs #animestyle #characterdesign #characterart #fashion #clothes #fashionstyle #greendress #clutch #clutchbag #whiteboots #necklace #earrings #strawberryblonde #gold #green #pink #white

Johannes Faustuz wearing Richard’s fur coat as a cape on top of the expensive clothes Freyja dressed him up with (reference for shirt in last slide). - Like his mother Sigrid, Faustuz never really liked his father’s coat - it’s ridiculously heavy, fluffy, and oversized (Sigrid did admit that she loved how warm it was whenever Richard held her during walks in the winter). It’s one of the many things he inherited from his father - aside from daily journals, tape recordings, photos, vinyl albums, t-shirts, watches, and his 1981 red Volkswagen Beetle. But in rare occasions, he will wear the coat to “put it to use”; Richard wore it to show off whenever he could, while his son wears it to cover up the elaborate stuff Freyja makes him wear in formal events. — #malecharacter #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #frauv8_ocs #man #fashion #furcoat #redtie #stripedshirt #shirtandtie #blond #blondhair #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #drawing #ipaddrawing #pink #red #brown #blue #green #yellow #pattern

Page 13: Farewell - for now. - Kimiko still has her habit of bowing every time she thanks people, bumps into things, and says goodbye. While Hr. Dr. Kasper admires her politeness, he often reminds his nurse that she’s not in Japan anymore and has to adopt more Western customs to fit in. - Kimiko isn’t familiar with Freyja’s live blogs, TV shows, and magazines - she only knows her as her mentor’s wife (Kimiko isn’t interested in fashion much compared to her younger sisters and mother). — #malecharacter #femalecharacter #originalcharacters #frauv8_ocs #woman #man #pink #blue #green #autodesksketchbook #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #animestyle #comic #hanami

Page 8: Frl. Flicka discovers something delicious... 🍡 - Fräulein Flicka is the Kaspers’ pet Doberman/Hellhound; she’s a former U. S. military dog who had serious behavioral issues until she was adopted. Nowadays she thinks she’s a lapdog, often jumping on the couch and sleeping in bed with Freyja and Faustuz. She can also be quite mischievous, often chasing Cedrick around like cattle, sneaking off with slices of Erik’s Smörgåstårta, or breathes out fire and poops out flaming turds when she’s turning into a Hellhound. - Kimiko is deathly afraid of dogs but loves cats (she might like Freud since he’s a dachshund). She also likes cute little animal mascots such as Hello Kitty, so maybe if a mythical creature decides to show itself from hiding... — #femalecharacter #originalcharacters #frauv8_ocs #woman #dog #pink #blue #green #autodesksketchbook #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #animestyle #comic #hanami

Page 7: The missus is fashionably late (as usual). - Freyja is wearing the kimono Tante Yoko gave her when she married Hr. Dr. Kasper. With a guest in the house who’s also Japanese like her extended family, Freyja feels that she should wear her kimono this time. - Kimiko isn’t familiar with Freyja’s TV show, live blogs, or fashion magazines, so she has no idea how popular/famous she is. Kimiko, like most of her fellow coworkers, also assumed her mentor was a single father whose wife died from some tragic event (some say cancer, others say an accident; none of it is true). Now finally meeting her, Kimiko is in awe and curious about Freyja’s relationship with Faustuz. — #malecharacter #femalecharacter #originalcharacters #frauv8_ocs #woman #man #dog #pink #blue #green #autodesksketchbook #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #animestyle #comic #hanami

Page 4: It’s Hr. Ström, not Hr. Kasper. - Kimiko never met any of Hr. Dr. Kasper’s immediate family, so she quickly assumed Erik Ström was his father because of the logic that he’s living at her doctor’s house and is blond like the Herr Doktor and Cedrick. Erik thinks it’s funny people think that he’s Johannes Faustuz’s father (he actually knew his father Richard), but in reality, the two can’t stand the sight of each other (Erik thinks Faustuz is not worthy enough for his daughter Freyja for lots of reasons). — #malecharacter #femalecharacter #originalcharacter #frauv8_ocs #woman #man #pink #blue #green #autodesksketchbook #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #animestyle #comic #hanami
