Another character sheet:
Freyja and Vincent-Claude
-
These two are rarely seen together for many reasons.
Aside from not working in the same region in the world and working in different fields of interests, the Herr Doktor does his best to keep Vincent-Claude far away from his wife - Vinnie can be a bit of a womanizer.
His latest obsession is Kimiko Abe, trying his best to woo her despite her rejections; but that doesn’t stop him from looking up and flirting with another female at whim.
-
Vincent-Claude is the son of Dr. Leyon DeValeur, Director of the hospital where the Kaspers work; he also works at the university as an Archeology and Biology professor.
He’s not as familiar with the obscure and occult as the Kaspers, but as an Archeologist he’s able to obtain some artifacts if Erik is unable to provide a modern equivalent.
-
Freyja is a fashion supermodel who also works as a magazine editor and TV show host (think Heidi Klum with “Project Runway”); she’s also the heiress to the Ström Company run by her father Erik, wife to her childhood sweetheart, and mother to a teenage son.
Under the facade of all those things, Freyja follows her father’s footsteps in being knowledgeable about mythical weaponry; she joins her husband and son when they need support and backup.

Closeup of these two cuddly lovebirds from my last post: Hr. Dr. Johannes Faustuz Kasper with his lovely wife Freyja Ström.
-
They’re the couple that make people say: “Aww~ Cute!”
“Eh?! She’s that nerd’s wife?!”
Or “Get a hotel room, you two!”

Feel free to color the #lineart and tag @frauv8 #colorthisin_fv8 so I can see your work.

#mermay is just around the corner. Do I plan to draw a mermaid/merman every day of May?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😫
My Gawd NO.
I nearly went insane last year drawing so many of them.
But~ I did have an all-time favorite MerMay pic from last year: Doktor Kasper’s mummified mermaid in a jar (swipe to last slide), so this year I might do a series of pics/comic pages on it (hopefully not one everyday🤦🏻♀️). Here’s a test/sneak peek with Queenie Williams intrigued by the creature. Whether it’s real or not, dead or alive... we’ll see soon enough.

It’s another #drawthisinyourstyle pic.
This #drawthisinyourstylechallenge was by @mawikatan. There were three OCs to choose from, but this was the one I’m familiar with since when I first started following them.
#mawmawdraw
-
Let me know what other #dtiys challenges you want me to draw (even if it’s your own, lol). I try not to do anything with deadlines, but again, I’m not doing any to win anything (so it doesn’t matter).
These challenges allow me to test out different techniques and give more exposure to fellow Instagram digital artists.

It’s #nationalhelpahorseday.
There’s many organizations you can donate to help these majestic creatures such as @carma4horses.
-
This is an old pic I drew about 4-5 years ago. I remember getting frustrated because horses are not the easiest things to draw (there’s still many things I find difficult to draw).

Freyja’s a hugger while Johannes Faustuz and Cedrick aren’t so much.
-
I guess this could be a redraw of the Kasper Family drawing I made back in December 2017 (5th slide). I also included the #lineart (2nd slide), inking (3rd slide), and coloring (4th slide). All three consistently look like the 2017 version, except Cedrick has a different hairstyle, is wearing his glasses, and a bit younger and cuter look while still being a teenager.

It’s been a long time since I’ve drawn any of the Kaspers’ pets. They have two dogs and a cat (not including the myriad of fruit flies the Herr Doktor takes care of for experimenting).
-
Their cat cat Klimt is a huge fluffy orange Norwegian forest cat. He’s named after the Austrian artist Gustav Klimt because his fur resembles the swirling patterns in the artist’s gold paintings. Despite his size, Klimt think he can perch on anything and loves exploring high places which leads him into serious trouble. He’s very attached to Johannes Faustuz and Cedrick, often following either one of them around the house whenever they do come home from the hospital. Klimt enjoys cuddling up with his fellow pet Fräulein Flicka the Doberman, but avoids Freud the dachshund due to his rough playing and biting. Overall, he’s a sweet cat who loves giving attention to anyone he thinks is worth it.
-
I also included the #lineart. Tag @frauv8 and #colorthisin_fv8 so I can see your work.

#mothersday is just around the corner~
-
I don’t draw Cedrick with Freyja that often, especially as a teenager/young adult; mostly him as a baby or child. And often times people think Freyja is his girlfriend, not his mother.
🤣😅🤦🏻♀️
Also doesn’t help that Cedrick looks just like his father, only smaller, younger, and with much shorter hair.

Kinda a repost/compilation of all three Kaspers in this experimental style.
Might go in the Archives later.

Freyja Ström (Kasper)
Supermodel/Magazine Editor/TV Host
AGE: 39
DOB: 30 June♋️
HEIGHT: 170cm - 5’7”
BLOOD TYPE: A
•Freyja is a hardworking lady always trying to keep up with the latest trends in fashion and design. She is a woman of a rich and privileged upbringing, which makes her seem unapproachable to most when she’s more than happy to socialize with anyone. Freyja does everything she can to please everyone at work while trying to maintain a cheerful smile doing so. She highly values her private life, but with social media and the growing popularity of her TV show “FLASH FASHION”, it’s increasingly getting harder to hide her husband and son from attention.
-
Asia Williams
Hairdresser/Jewelry Designer
AGE: 34
DOB: 1 April♈️
HEIGHT: 165cm - 5’5”
BLOOD TYPE: O
•Impulsive and focused, Asia is a self-made woman of rural roots. She runs a hair and nail salon, but dreams of selling her homemade jewelry. Asia is a great cook, often bringing meals to her husband for lunch. She’s a big fan of Freyja’s TV show and wishes to be featured on it; little she knows that she does have connection to her through her husband’s coworkers. Asia has a toddler daughter whom she has her niece babysit while being busy with work and crafts.
--
Asia doesn’t like Hr. Dr. Kasper much, but was surprised to hear him say her jewelry looked unique and his wife would most likely be interested in buying pieces from her. Like many people thinking his wife is dead, she waves him off. But the next day when she’s there to deliver lunch for Tyrone, Asia is shocked to see Freyja next to Faustuz greeting her with a handshake. From this encounter, Asia got two endorsements for her salon and jewelry, and an episode featuring her work.

It’s another #drawthisinyourstyle challenge pic, this time by @abbirelly and @artezaofficial. Since she does her work with traditional media, I felt like I should do the same. She’s a popular artist, and I didn’t use digital media so I don’t expect this pic getting much likes and views (another reason why I avoid popular #dtiys challenges - I’m not “good enough” in Instagram to get attention). I also included WIP pics, a page of the media I used to make this, and the original challenge pic just to show that I didn’t intend for this character to look like my own female Elf character Sigrid.

#mondaymemories: Four years ago, I made this Art Deco couple with Photoshop. A little bit flat and dead on expression, but vibrant with colors and style.

Eh... Why not?😅
I had way too much fun making this with the crazy color scheme, so might as well share the fun with everyone else. It’s like every color of the rainbow was splashed on.🌈

Tag your pic with @frauv8 #fv8_drawthisinyourstyle so I can see what you made. If I get enough posts, I’ll make a story highlight featuring each one.😊
-
Now have fun making Hr. Dr. Kasper look like the dapper gentleman he is.
