#originalcharacter #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #sketchbookapp #office — A glimpse of the Kaspers’ office which they practically live in. Almost had Cedrick sleeping on the couch in the background, but wouldn’t really be able to see him.

#mermay #mermay2018 #littlemermaidfanart #littlemermaid #ursula #inkdrawing #sketchpad — Because somebody at work was singing “Poor Unfortunate Souls.”

#mermay2018 #mermay #digitaldrawing #digitalart #originalcharacter #mermaid #boy #son — Go back ten years when Cedrick was about 5, he was so proud of his mother Freyja modeling as a mermaid. — I’ll most likely draw another mermaid later in my sketchpad during work today. 😛

#mermay #mermay2018 #mermaychallenge #mermaid #digitalart #digitaldrawing — Day 11. I should be sleeping, lol. — I have another pic made, but will be saving it for Mother’s Day. This one is also a base for another pic coming up later.

#digitalart #digitaldrawing #mermay #mermaid #koi #koifish #koifishart #koimermaid — An old one from 2013. I definitely plan on making another koi mermaid sometime for this year’s MerMay challenge.

#digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #sketchbookapp #originalcharacter #photographer #redhair #redhead — Experimenting with the marker brush on the SketchBook app. I believe this is the first pic of Rufus on his own I posted. Need to draw him more, lol.

#mermay2018 #mermay #mermaychallenge #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #sketchbookapp #originalcharacters — Just for fun for Day 9 of MerMay - Freyja drawn as a mermaid with her husband.

#digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #sketchbookapp #originalcharacters #boy #girl #children #childhoodsweethearts #frauv8_ocs — Another pic of the childhood sweethearts Freyja and Johannes Faustuz.

#mermay2018 #mermay #mermaid #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart Mermaid no. 7 for MerMay.

#mermay2018 #mermay #merjockey #merman #seahorse #seashells #sketchpad #higlighters #pencil #eraser #pen #drawing — It’s Kentucky Derby day here at work, so here’s no. 5 for MerMay - a merjockey riding a seahorse.

#mermay #mercouple #mermaid #merman #fish #digitalart #digitaldrawing — An old mercouple pic from 2012.

#digitaldrawing #digitalart #ipadproart #sketchbookapp #mermay #mermay2018 #mermaid I guess I was inspired by Fiji water?

#digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #sketchbookapp #originalcharacters #originalcharacter #malecharacter #fatherson #father #son #doctor Another Kasper father-son pic. This one took a really long time to make - all day yesterday and just up to now. I settled with the hybrid style, though I almost went with the anime or realistic style. The anime style would of been a bit more cartoony while the realistic would of been painterly.

#digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalpainting #ipadproart #artpractice #eyes Original characters’ eyes. Left side (top-down): •Freyja •Cedrick •Tyrone •Granger Right side (top-down): •Johannes Faustuz •Kimiko •Vincent-Claude •Rufus

#digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #femalecharacter #mothersday #motherdaughter #mother #daughter #child Tyrone’s wife Asia and their daughter Queenie. Queenie is most likely pointing at Cedrick since she’s smiling; if it’s her father, she’d frown; if it’s the Herr Doktor, she’d hide her face in fright.

#digitalart #digitaldrawing #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #mothersday #mother #motherdaughter #daughter #child I plan on making more mother-child pics leading up to Mother’s Day. This one is Freyja as a little girl with her mother Sonja.

#digitaldrawing #digitalart #ipadprodrawing #ipadproart #originalcharacters #originalcharacter #family #beachvacation I FREAKING LIVE IN CALIFORNIA, but I haven’t been able to go the beach much aside from after work during the Del Mar meets. With the weather warming up here in SoCal, I felt like drawing the Kasper family out in the sun getting a pink burn instead of a tan (which is why I often hate being outside in the sunshine).

#digitalart #digitaldrawing #originalcharacter #cat #woman #female #femalecharacter #redhead #redhair #gingerhair #gingercat #gustavklimtinspired Freyja and Klimt done in a Gustav Klimt style.

#digitaldrawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacter #doctor #outofcoffee The Herr Doktor is always cranky at work, but without coffee, he becomes a monster. And everyone hides behind Cedrick since he’s the only one who can withstand his father’s wrath.

#digitalart #digitaldrawing #animals #pets #cat #dogs #norwegianforestcat #dachshund #dobermanpinscher #gingercat #browndog Another pic of Kasper’s family pets. • Klimt is a Norwegian forest cat; he’s named so because of his stripes resembling patterns on Gustav Klimt’s famous golden paintings; he’s very cuddly and trills like a bird, especially if he’s up a tree; like any cat, Klimt can be a bit sassy and demanding for attention. • Freud the dachshund is named after the famous psychologist; he’s very mischievous and loves digging holes in the backyard; Freud is also a bit snappy and stubborn, so often times he’s scolded and sent outside to his doghouse until he calms down. • Fräulein Flicka is a Doberman who’s a former war dog; everyone just says “Good Girl!” to her, so her name is pretty much “Girl” (Flicka is “Girl” in Swedish); she’s very smart, obedient, and affectionate, but can sometimes act out due to PTSD; despite her aggressive appearance, she thinks she’s a lap dog, so often times she ends up sleeping in bed with Freyja and Faustuz.

#digitalart #digitaldrawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacter #boymeetsgirls #femalecharacters #awkward As a wunderkind, Cedrick doesn’t do well with people about his age, especially girls. Carmen is Granger’s younger sister who becomes obsessed with Cedrick for a while before she meets someone else, while Tricia is Tyrone’s niece (his sister’s daughter). Queenie is Tyrone’s daughter that Cedrick often has to babysit whenever Tricia skips out of the job.
