#sketchdump into the 1980s with Sigrid and Richard. There was a 4th sketch, but it wasn’t going to fit within IG’s square format - it’s featured in the highlight “SIGRID’S DIARY” for future reference. • Sigrid’s School Uniform.💼 Sigrid attended an all-girls academy run by nuns, priests, and others familiar with the occult and mythical (it’s a mix of a religious high school with Hogwarts). Her uniform is basically a collared white shirt, a red necktie, a blue sweater or blazer with her school emblem (a red shield with a white cross), a red plaid skirt, black stockings / knee socks, and a pair of oxfords; Sigrid often wore pink leg warmers and jellies sandals with her uniform to add vibrant splashes of color. • Off to Tivoli Gardens.🎡🎠 Sigrid lived in Copenhagen where one of the world’s oldest amusement parks resides; it was also the inspiration for the first Disneyland. Tivoli Gardens was one of their favorite places for late night dates to avoid being easily seen by anyone who didn’t approve of their relationship. Sigrid’s favorite rides were the Ferris wheel, swings, and carousel - which also happen to be Richard’s least favorite rides (he gets motion sickness riding them). • Human Anatomy Books.📚 Sigrid loved textbooks - especially ones with illustrations and photos - but her school didn’t have many because the principal wanted to teach the “ancient ways without modern influences”. Since being acquainted with Richard, she had access to the local university’s library whenever he’s working there. Still stuck with Artist’s Block and burnout… It’s another #sketchdump. I probably should just draw my OCs wearing random outfits if I can’t think of anything else. Sigrid is wearing a pair of Jellies sandals popular in the 1980s with her usual school attire. She also has a very colorful sporty outfit she’d wear whenever she wants to drop by the local university’s library or arcade. Richard has his signature scythe in hand and wearing his default outfit (wolf fur coat, blue bell bottoms, knitted turtleneck, Adidas Superstars, black leather gloves). This #sketchdump was a bit fun - Late 1970s thru 1980s New Romance fashion with Richard and Sigrid. New Romance is a look that would work with a Grim Reaper aesthetic, but it’s not Richard’s style (he had a hard time letting go of his denim bell bottoms for straight legs for a year). #sketchdump of three generations of Kaspers drinking coffee and tea. ☕️ Hr. Dr. Kasper doesn’t have any warm feelings for his father Richard (for lots of reasons), often getting upset whenever someone mentions him and how much he’s like his father; on the other hand, Johannes Faustuz gets emotional to the point of tears whenever someone talks about his mother Sigrid. He’s been ashamed of the fact that he’s the child of a man who was a playboy, called a “Quack”, and married a teenage girl (large age gaps were much more common back then). Tatzelwurms are not to be messed with - they look cute, but they’re extremely vicious and destructive to both plants and Reapers alike. They’re drawn to the scent of rare plants and minerals in the earth, causing them to dig them up and burrow nearby to produce large litters. After countless times getting torn apart and patched up, and Sigrid not very happy about the method of extermination, Richard ponders on creating a repellent to keep Tatzelwurms out of Aina’s backyard.
