Still in quarantine wearing house shoes and casual clothes bordering pajamas as Hr. Dr. Kasper enters his study. Freyja doesn’t approve of wearing sweatpants during virtual work sessions, grocery shopping trips, rogue monster hunts, or collecting Death’s quota of souls - proving the saying that the wife chooses the pants for the man of the house is true for this family. - I had a lot of fun playing around with textures with this one. Originally I thought about adding in one of the Kaspers’ dogs, but I’m lazy and it would of covered up most of the detail in the mini book shelving unit. I also thought of adding on glasses, but with a pic of this size, I prefer them off to see his face clearly (last slide has Papa Kasper with glasses on). — I have work Thursday thru Sunday this week, then it’s going back down to Del Mar for the summer work season (as far as planned). If the pandemic gets even worse, I won’t be surprised if everything stops and shuts down again in California - and maybe no work.😑 - I have so~ much rage towards my fellow humans right now, especially with those who can’t set aside their national pride and politics aside to wear something that could save lives. Hr. Dr. Johannes Faustuz Kasper and Klimt. - Klimt likes jumping up wherever someone is busy, whether it’s Freyja doing a live blog for her TV show, Hr. Dr. Kasper is on conference with a patient or reading a newspaper, or Cedrick building a Lego kit. Klimt also likes fluffing his tail on his people’s faces and meowing to get their attention whenever he wants pets and food. 1993: Tyrone Williams Who knew he was such an adorkable kid? ❤️ Might draw kid Tyrone next to kid Johannes Faustuz, even though they wouldn’t have known each other until much later in life (they grew up in the 90s liking very similar things such as video games and toys). — As a kid with my family, I loved watching “Family Matters”, “Fresh Prince of Bel Air”, “Roseanne”, “Married With Children”, and “Home Improvement” (Yes, we also watched “Full House”, but it didn’t seem as interesting; my mom liked it because of the kids; “Friends” was also a show we didn’t watch much compared to “Seinfeld” and “Fraiser”) It’s all vague memories, but just a mention of some of TV characters like Steve Urkel just makes me smile because I do remember his funny voice, his silly antics, and “Did I do that?”😆 Obviously I was looking at Urkel as a source of inspiration for a kid Tyrone because I have a soft spot for dorky nerdy guys. Tyrone gave up the look as he grew up because of peer pressure to look more “hip and cool”, but away from others at home, he maintains his love for video games, toys, and TV shows (he still hasn’t told his work buddy Hr. Dr. Kasper about about his secret love of collecting Trolls and wearing glasses as a kid). Sadly it’s something a lot of people, especially minorities, battle with because being nerdy is associated with “not being part of the group”. It’s not so much of a thing for Asians because it’s expected to be smart (amongst friends I joked I’m half as smart since I’m only half Asian), and the White Nerd has been a stereotype for ages despite being mocked.
