There’s Cedrick! He’s really not happy with the Lockdown haircut his mother Freyja gave him, not that it’s much different from his usual Bowlcut - just much shorter and a little uneven in the back (the Lockdown is practically a botched Bowlcut/Fade/Undercut 😬). He understands why his father Johannes Faustuz has long hair (no need for constant haircuts), but it’s a pain to maintain (tangles, gets in your eyes, shampooing, etc.). - There’s 4 versions and the rough WIP sketch. In the background is the word “LOCKDOWN” in German, English, Swedish, and Japanese; his shirt says “DEATH” in Danish (German, Japanese, English, Swedish, and Danish are the languages the Kaspers are fluent with). - Comment below to let me know which one (1-4) you like most. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalsketch #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #lineart #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #malecharacter #teenboy #yellow #red #grey #lockdownhair #bowlcut #skull #skullfacemask #glasses #frauv8_ocs

Meanwhile... (ENDE) - Freyja’s going to give her father Erik an earful seeing he didn’t appreciate the custom suit she had made for him; but she’s happy that Johannes Faustuz found someone else who would gladly wear it (just doesn’t seem like it with that scary look of hers). —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #man #woman #pink #green #frauv8_ocs

Time for a man-to-man talk in the office. - Usually it’s Hr. Dr. Kasper pressed against the wall, but the tables are turned with Tyrone dealing with a frustrated work buddy. Johannes Faustuz is at his wits end dealing with Asia, so he needs Tyrone to be the husband she deserves to calm things down - and he’s going to help him out by asking personal questions. ——— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #men #doctors #animestyle #frauv8_ocs

Tyrone and Johannes Faustuz are finally together again. With PPE, they could maybe possibly technically hug, but Hr. Dr. Kasper is as cuddly as a hedgehog to colleagues.🦔 Faustuz is also wearing a hot pink button headband his wife made for him so he can keep his hair off his face and ears pain-free. - He’s back at work now that elective surgeries are approved at the hospital (he’s a Surgical Oncologist). He was suspended for a month since his ward was converted into COVID-19 beds and breaking down into tears seeing a dying patient that reminded him of his uncle Heinrich (also having Death constantly whispering in his ear, and his boss not happy about a Grim Reaper walking around collecting souls effortlessly). —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #animestyle #malecharacters #men #doctors #ppe #blue #frauv8_ocs

Took almost three hours to color this in.💀 I really need sleep now, lol. (I’ll post the speed-coloring video on IGTV as well) - Freyja and Johannes Faustuz wore cute sun hats in the last pic I made; Cedrick doesn’t want to match his parents, so he went all black despite the heat (black is just a badass color because it’s the rainbow absorbed into the abyss). This time you can really see Cedrick’s heterochromia (odd-eyes; both Cedrick and his father Hr. Dr. Kasper have it). - The California Poppy: These things bloom every year after the rain is over, and some years we get “Superblooms” when the hills are all orange and gold with them (there’d be traffic and accidents just because people would slow down to look at the hills while driving😑). They’re obviously another favorite flower of mine because of their vibrant color ; pair the poppy with the cornflower, and it’s just an awesome combination of colors (blue and yellow is classic - just look at store logos like IKEA). —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalsketch #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #lineart #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #malecharacter #teenboy #plants #flowers #californiapoppies #californiapoppy #sunhat #black #yellow #gold #orange #heterochromia #bowlcut #glasses #frauv8_ocs

The Kaspers’ house based in Southern California, somewhere around Los Angeles. It does have a second level that’s basically a loft and attic used for storage, nothing else important. - If you zoom in the Garage, you can see what kind of vehicle each parent drives (Papa Ström has a motorcycle, Freyja has a Volvo SUV, Hr. Dr. Kasper has an old VW Beatle); Cedrick is only 14/15, so obviously he can’t drive yet (there’s three bikes available; the shopping bike is pink with a basket and crate installed, lol). — Slide 2: Cedrick studying at the Nook’s table. - Slide 3: Cedrick playing games in the Living Room when he should be in the Game Room (the Living Room has a large projection screen from the ceiling). - Slide 4: Cedrick’s Bedroom. - Slide 5: Freyja enjoying a bath in the Master Bathroom. - Slide 6: The Laundry Room. - Slide 7: The Kitchen. - Slide 8: The Master Bedroom. - Slide 9: Hr. 💠Cornflower Blue💠 💠Kornblumenblau💠 💠コーンフラワーブルー💠 — #happyearthday - the 50th anniversary of the day to celebrate our planet’s beauty.🌎 - I just felt like drawing this pic today: Papa Kasper and Klimt with a vase of cornflowers (one of my favorite flowers because of their gorgeous shade of blue). Cornflowers have a complicated history, but nowadays are beloved because of their simplicity and bright colors (they also come in pink, white, red, and purple). — The Cornflower is a beautiful blue flower with a tainted history. Also known as “Bachelor’s Button” (unmarried men would wear them on their lapels; if the flower wilted, it means his love isn’t reciprocated) and “Basket Flower” (their bristled shape resembles a basket), it symbolizes prosperity, wealth, future, love, unity, hope, and devotion. It’s the national flower of Estonia and Germany. Cornflowers are used in France to commemorate 11 November just as the Poppy is for Britain, Canada, and America. German history says Prussian Queen Louise hid her children in a field of cornflowers from Napoleon’s forces; because of her heroic actions, it’s a military symbol of bravery and unity (also used for Prussian uniforms - hence the color “Prussian Blue”). Sadly, the Nazis in Austria used the cornflower as a symbol support for Hitler, making many countries disassociate their historical connection with the flower for many years; cornflowers are also becoming increasingly rare in their natural habitat, and had been considered weeds. Cornflowers are edible too, often used in herbal teas and salads. ———— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacter #malecharacter #man #cat #stripes #flowers #blue #white #cornflowerblue #cornflower #kornblume #kornblumenblau #frauv8_ocs

Papa Ström isn’t very tech savvy nor is willing to learn ; luckily he has a Wunderkind grandson eager to help him out (his daughter Freyja is at her wits end fixing things for him while he refuses to ask his son-in-law Johannes Faustuz for assistance). —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #man #boy #grandfather #grandson #computertroubles #animestyle #frauv8_ocs

Johannes Faustuz wants to drown in guilt and depression not being able to help out at work since his suspension, and there’s no better way to do so than in a bathtub. But Freyja isn’t going to let that happen - she’s having too much fun trying to lighten up the mood with bubbles and a rubber ducky. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #man #woman #bubblebath #frauv8_ocs

There’s a new creature to add to the Kaspers’ unusual menagerie. It’s not a Meerjungfrau (read the highlight titled “MEERJUNGFRAU” if you want to know more), but an Amabie swimming in the fishbowl. - She was recently found by Klimt almost dried out under a tree where a red-tailed hawk family is nestled, most likely had escaped from being chick food. Hr. Dr. Kasper had to pry the poor thing out of his cat’s mouth before plopping her into a fishbowl to recover; he named her “Stern” for her star-like shape and having five limbs (two arms, three tails). - Amabie is a Japanese Yōkai that appears when there’s a danger to humans, especially pandemics; they’re good luck, and sharing drawings of them are said to heal ailments. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacter #malecharacter #man #yokai #amabie #cat #frauv8_ocs

Cedrick Kasper and Tricia Williams; I included a masked version and line art for anyone who wants to color it in. - Normally they would be meeting up for tutoring sessions at the boba cafe twice a week, but with the pandemic going on, they’ll occasionally see each other whenever Cedrick is walking his dogs down the street. Tricia doesn’t like Cedrick, but she was more than eager to pick up a drink or two at the boba cafe whenever he tutored her for Algebra and Biology; nowadays she’s just glad that he’s someone who’s not her aunt Asia or little cousin Queenie, but she still doesn’t like hanging out with a boy four years younger than her. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #lineart #animestyle #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #femalecharacter #teenagers #boy #girl #masks #fashion #red #frauv8_ocs

Queenie got a new bunny from Uncle Hans! Asia is feeling relieved now that her daughter has a new toy to play with instead of using her jewelry crafting supplies; Tricia is actually feeling a bit jealous that she didn’t get anything besides chocolate eggs and marshmallow bunnies (she wanted the giant bunny). ——— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #girl #bunnyears #bunny #easter #frauv8_ocs

Freyja and Johannes Faustuz enjoying some sunshine after being cooped up indoors. And Papa Kasper has pants this time while the wife is wearing her own nightshirt. (Lately many of my pics have been featuring windows...) — But isn’t Faustuz supposed to be at the hospital and staying away from his family to prevent them from getting the virus? Well, it has to do something with what Kaspers are in this version of the world where mythical creatures and monsters actually do exist (the last name is kinda a hint; another hint is the fact Frl. Flicka is a Hellhound). ———— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #lineart #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #femalecharacter #woman #couple #indoors #window #sunshine #stayathome #pixaloop #frauv8_ocs

Erik Ström isolated from the rest of the family, regardless of which timeline (Freyja stuck in Sweden with her father and cousins, or Erik with his daughter, son-in-law, and grandson in quarantine in California). He’s not that old (late 60s) - but definitely old enough to get really sick if he’s not careful. Johannes Faustuz might not be fond of his father-in-law, but as a doctor, he’s very concerned about the old man’s health keeping his distance tenfold in the guest room/suite. - Papa Ström has been working remotely with his shipping business hectic since people are ordering essential supplies nonstop. Luckily he has his daughter Freyja around to keep him focused and able to fix his technical problems (he’s not very good with mobile devices and apps). —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #lineart #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #indoors #window #stayathome #blue #pixaloop #frauv8_ocs
