Papa doesn’t mess around if Cedrick shows him some attitude. 💀 Cedrick is in the older age range of Gen Alpha (around 14 YO), and my experience with the youngest generation so far hasn’t been the most pleasant per se (I’m a Millennial; Gen Z is okay with me being not too much older than the oldest Zoomers out there). Most Alphas I’ve encountered have been little sh!ts who need to be taught basic human decency in society like not screaming running around in stores, stomping overhead at my previous apartment, paying attention around themselves while walking instead of watching TikTok on their parents’ phones (yep, I’ve seen really little kids glued to a phone watching nail tutorials and alpha male Toks while waiting in line at Disneyland 😫 Seriously, WTF are these parents about my age letting their tots on an app with a MINIMUM AGE OF 13?! And you wonder why kids these days have terrible attention spans, are obsessed with beauty products, and have bad manners…) I get kids are work and tiring (it’s why I chose not to have any), but if parents don’t like it when people are trying to correct their kids’ behaviors for them (like other members in society like teachers, myself, elders, etc.) then they really should put the effort in doing it themselves - otherwise DON’T HAVE F-KING KIDS! It’s absolutely ridiculous seeing people going like “Oh, but yelling at my kids will hurt their feelings!” There’s yelling to get one’s attention to stop the bad behavior, and there’s yelling that belittles the character - it’s not brain surgery knowing the difference. And if a kid acts out, get them outside, set them aside, and lecture them about their behavior - not give in and buy the things they’re screaming for otherwise they’ll keep having tantrums at the stores. On Instagram I had a poll on what hair colors I should focus on, and of course it was a tie between the pink and blue. 🩷💀🩵 So I ended up switching between all the hair colors as the final solution - and it’s a bit of work to do only to get a few views lol. Back to the 1980s with Johannes’ parents Richard (Death) and Sigrid. - Richard was stuck a decade behind in the 1970s for 2 major reasons: he really loved the Disco aesthetic and couldn’t afford to upgrade anything he owned due to financial difficulties (his ex-fiancée Sheila drained all of his accounts dry - leading him to declare bankruptcy, close his private practice, and work odd jobs within the Occult Community to pay off his debts). He’s also frugal guy so he doesn’t like wasting money on new fashion and cars if his current items are still in good condition and can be repaired with little to no cost (he repairs his 1969 VW Beetle himself and buys the latest tech second-hand if possible). Back to the 1980s with Johannes’ parents Richard (Death) and Sigrid. - Richard was stuck a decade behind in the 1970s for 2 major reasons: he really loved the Disco aesthetic and couldn’t afford to upgrade anything he owned due to financial difficulties (his ex-fiancée Sheila drained all of his accounts dry - leading him to declare bankruptcy, close his private practice, and work odd jobs within the Occult Community to pay off his debts). He’s also frugal guy so he doesn’t like wasting money on new fashion and cars if his current items are still in good condition and can be repaired with little to no cost (he repairs his 1969 VW Beetle himself and buys the latest tech second-hand if possible). Last slide was the inspiration for the color scheme (Japanese magazine cover circa 1960s). - I didn’t feel like writing much German this time - it’s been really hurting my brain lately after being abused by “splitting double verbs” in my last several Duolingo lessons (the verb “Anfangen” is an example - “das Spiel fängt in fünf Minuten an”, but then it’s “das Spiel muss in fünf Minuten anfangen” - ARGH!😫).
