Ugh... Kimiko isn’t going to be enough to put an IV needle in; she’ll need the other nurse Bernadette to help, and then finally Cedrick to get it in with one go, lol. - I had a bit of a health scare last night that my fiancé had to take me to ER; I’m home from work just for today (doctor’s orders 😞). What happened I was driving home from work, and I had a sudden headache; my right side of my face and right arm was gradually going numb, which is super weird. So just to make sure it wasn’t a stroke or anything else serious, we went to the hospital. What the neurologist and doctor think happened was a complex migraine, in which numbness can occur if triggered; doesn’t help with the stress of commuting and working so many days straight and not sleeping enough - I’m a certified workaholic. - #needles are the worst, yet I’m just so over them at the same time with the number of times I’ve had to be poked and stabbed over the years, lol. I don’t mind shots or blood work, but freaking IVs I absolutely hate. It took not one, not two, BUT THREE PEOPLE to get an IV in me last night; they poked and stabbed both arms, and of course it was the guy who got it in his first stab (I don’t know if it’s just me, but male nurses, doctors, and lab techs seem better with needles; not being sexist, but it’s just personal experience). So my left elbow area has a nice little bruise that’ll be there for some time. *sigh* - Anyway, I’m feeling better now, but they did warn me if it does happen again, I’ll need a MRI done since the CT scans were clear. — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #femalecharacter #malecharacter #doctor #nurse

#digitalphotos/#snapshots from my latest #disneyparks trip. It was really nice with less people on a weekday when many kiddos are back in school. The new Incredi-coaster was fun, Pirates of the Caribbean was different, Star Tours was meh, Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy was really fun. — @disneyland @disneycaliforniadventure #coco #plazadelafamilia #itsasmallworld

It’s practically #fall with stores all stocked up with sweaters - which doesn’t make any sense here in SoCal because it’s still like 💯 degrees outside! Plus side is that the pumpkin drinks are back (I’m currently in love with Jamba Juice’s pumpkin smash smoothie - it’s so good ~). - To celebrate, Mama Kasper gave her boys an update for the #fallfashion season: Cedrick’s hair is no longer asymmetrical - it’s an even #bowlcut for now; his clothing is also very #kpopfashion inspired, which he’s a big fan of. Johannes Faustuz still has his long hair in a messy #manbun and #aviators (and has his #heartshirt on again, lol), but with cooler weather on the way, why not grow out a #beard? — #originalcharacters #malecharacters #fatherson #blond #glasses #stripedshirt #heartstripeshirt #jwandersonheartstripeshirt #necktie #ipaddrawing #ipadproart #ipadproartwork #digitaldrawing #digitalart #digitalartwork #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #sketchbookapp #frauv8_ocs

It’s #grandparentsday on the 9th. 👵🏻🧓🏼👴🏽 My dad had me talk with my grandma earlier today right after I got home from work, lol. - For today’s #digitaldrawing, it’s Baby Cedrick and his #grandfather Erik Ström (Freyja’s father). — #digitalart #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #sketchbookapp #originalcharacters #grandpa #grandparent #grandson #babyboy #baby #malecharacter

Hr. Dr. Kasper wearing the #heartshirt at work - Part 5. (Maybe the end?) - And finally it’s Cedrick, his teenage son who works with him. And apparently the younger Hr. Dr. Kasper is jealous and wants the shirt for himself, lol. And it looks like he got a haircut - he traded the bun for a bowl for now. - These two often act more like brothers, and with Cedrick quickly catching up with his father in height and starting to sound just like him as his voice matures, people get the two mixed up. So it makes sense they try not to look alike as much as possible, but it doesn’t always work. — #digitalart #digitalartwork #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #sketchbookapp #originalcharacters #orginalcharacterdrawing #originalcharacterart #doctors #malecharacters #fatherson

Hr. Dr. Kasper wearing the #heartshirt at work - Part 4. (Specifically it’s a #jwandersonheartstripeshirt, lol) - It’s Kimiko Abe the nursing student this time. And what young lady these days wouldn’t be into #kpop (specifically #BTS, lol). Plus Johannes Faustus tries his best to divert her attention back to work instead of his shirt (and admiration for the band). - Kimiko is from Yokohama, Japan studying nursing abroad; she’s extremely shy, skittish, and often is klutzy. She does have a tiny bit of a crush on the Herr Doktor, so often she tries to impress him with little notice; as for the other Hr. Dr. Kasper, she hates Cedrick and is jealous of him for being so perfect with little effort. — #digitalart #digitalartwork #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #sketchbookapp #originalcharacters #orginalcharacterdrawing #originalcharacterart #doctor #malecharacter #femalecharacter #holdingphone

Freyja is really hyped up about the shirt she got for Johannes Faustuz this time. Obviously he’s not as enthusiastic since he knows he’s going to be so teased at work for wearing that, especially by Tyrone. As for their son Cedrick, he’d either be cringing in embarrassment or super jealous his mother bought his father something trendy. - Kudos to anyone who can guess where that shirt is from (it’s also the source/inspiration of the #colorscheme). Hint: K-Pop, YouTube, 24 hours. I’m totally in love with it~ Comment below if you know! ❤️ — #digitalart #digitalartwork #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookapp #sketchbookautodesk #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #couple #dressshirt #heartshirt #hearts #jwandersonheartstripeshirt

Today’s #workdrawing that was finished at home. - It’s not often Freyja drops by, making many of Hr. Dr. Kasper’s colleagues at the hospital to think his wife is either very sick and dying or even dead from cancer. So when she does randomly show up, it shocks people - “Grumpy Ol’ Hans” not only has a wife who is very much alive, she’s a world-famous supermodel. Also, he dresses a bit nicer when she’s around, lol. — #penart #penartwork #pendrawing #pensketch #erasablepen #erasablepens #blueink #ink #inkart #inkartwork #inkdrawing #sketchbook #leuchtturm1917 #dottednotebook #originalcharacters #originalcharactersdrawing #couple #malecharacter #femalecharacter #hospitalroom

Haven’t done a #digitaldrawing for some time, so here’s one. - And it’s a bit morbid with the older Hr. Dr. Kasper looking so serious with his gloved hand covered in #blood. Perhaps it’s a sign that I’m eager for October to come again so I can have my hands covered and dripping with ink like blood (yes, Inktober is a coming~). — #digitalart #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #sketchbookapp #sketchbookautodesk #sketchbookautodeskapp #originalcharacter #malecharacter #doctor #blond

Today’s #workdrawing - a random #characterprofile of Papa Kasper. It doesn’t have all the other basic details about him such as his eye/hair color, nationality/ancestry, hometown, and personality type - which are blue/blond, German/Danish, Kiel, and Pessimistic. Johannes Faustuz is my favorite #originalcharacter to draw despite his son Cedrick being the OG since 2006-ish. — #pens #pendrawing #pilotpen #frixion #frixionpen #frixionball #ink #inkart #inkartwork #inkdrawing #inkdrawingpen #sketchbook #moleskine #moleskinecahier #malecharacter #originalcharacterart #originalcharacterdrawing

Today’s #workdrawing. This time I decided to digitally ink and color the #sketch with the #sketchbookautodeskapp in my #ipadpro; normally I would have colored it traditionally, but I wanted to experiment. - Fantasy Concept: Freyja enjoying time with her newborn son Cedrick. Being a warrior, she spends most of her time hunting for food; her husband Faustuz spends his time studying magic, which also means he stays home taking care of the baby. — #pendrawing #pensketch #pens #frixionpen #digitalcoloring #digitalinking #sketchbookapp #sketchbook #dottednotebook #leuchtturm1917 #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #motherson #motherchild #motherbaby #mother #baby #child #babyboy #motherlove

Today’s #workdrawing. I felt like making something that would be found in an old spell/recipe book. Not sure if anyone would want to eat something like this IRL, but for necromancer mages in my fantasy concept, this swamp mushroom soup would be a favorite. — #pilotpen #pen #frixion #frixionpen #frixionball #erasablepen #ink #inkdrawing #inkart #inkartwork #penart #penartwork #pendrawing #drawing #handdrawing #sketchbook #leuchtturm1917 #lechtturm1917 #dottednotebook #magicrecipe #plants #mushrooms #ferns

Today’s #workdrawing that was finished at home. I’ve just been super tired and busy lately! - I’d like to make a series of panels based on the idea of Cedrick always wanting to eat his father’s food at different stages in his life, or of the two fighting over Mama Kasper’s leftovers since they’re always so hungry after a long day at work. So this is technically a warmup to see how I’d draw it out. — #pilotpen #frixion #frixionpen #frixioncolors #frixionball #erasableink #erasablepens #erasable #ink #inkart #inkartwork #pen #penart #penartwork #pendrawing #sketchbook #dottednotebook #leuchtturm1917 #lechtturm1917 #originalcharacters #originalcharactersart #originalcharactersdrawing #fatherson

A slightly cleaner, modified panel from an old pic made back in October 2017. It’s kinda obvious that things won’t go well for the younger Hr. Dr. Kasper as the day passes by despite his initial enthusiasm. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #wacomart #originalcharacters #malecharacters #fatherson #father #son #doctors #comicpanel

Yesterday’s and the day before’s #workdrawing that got finished at home as usual. - I don’t usually draw these two as children for my fantasy concept. In this storyline, Freyja and Faustuz weren’t as cuddly with each other at this stage in life. In fact, Freyja was very pushy and abusive to the point Faustuz fights back and even thinks about killing her to escape. But because she declared out loud that he belongs to her, thus “imprinted” on him according to mage tradition, he’s committed to take care of her as his mate for life. — #ink #inkart #inkdrawing #penart #penartwork #pilotpen #frixion #frixionpen #frixionpens #frixioncolors #oolypen #sketchbook #dottednotebook #leuchtturn1917 #leuchtturm1917 #lechtturm1917 #originalcharacters #children #couple #girlboy #boygirl #girl #boy

Just another #selfie of me wearing another one of my @adidas #jerseys . They’re one of the best things to wear with the hot sticky humid weather lately here in SoCal. #germany has the nicest designs, and I already have both colors (everyone really loves the green one). So which one should I get next? Comment below. 🤗 - I was playing around with #moldiv #facetune and (of course) #instagram with the #portrait function on the iPhone to make this. I tried my best not to hide everything away - just mainly my ugly giant pores. 😅 — #selfportrait #iphoneportrait #iphonephotography #adidas #adidasjersey #germanyjersey #germanyjersey2018

Today’s #worksketch with some of my old #handwriting from months ago (I still mainly write in #cursive ). I’ll most likely make this into a digital drawing eventually since it’s a bit of a messy #pensketch . The #sketch doesn’t quite match what’s actually written in my rough script, but I guess it works? It just makes an interesting pic with a #roughsketch with #scribbling that matches it visually. - It’s the Fantasy Concept with a younger Freyja and Faustuz together. It could be fun to make the written section into a comic. Maybe... — #originalcharacters #couple #femalemalecharacters #mage #fantasy #pendrawing #penartwork #ink #inkart #inkartwork #inkdrawing #pilotpen #frixon #frixionpen #erasablepen #sketchbook #moleskine #moleskinecahier

Still playing around with the #frixioncolors #markers ; they’re more fun to erase than to color in, lol. Also not completely in love with the #colorscheme used, but it’s different from using blue. - It’s a different character this time: my French #originalcharacter Vincent-Claude with his hair untied. And yes, #smoking is bad, but that’s part of his character; he’s very carefree and often disregards rules if he thinks he can get away with it, which often puts him at odds with his father and both Kaspers. - And I just realized his shirt looks like a piece of salmon. 🤣 — #pilotpen #frixon #frixonpen #frixionball #erasablepens #inkart #inkdrawing #penart #penartwork #pendrawing #moleskine #moleskinecahier #sketchbook #malecharacter #blackhair #black #purple #orange

Another #workdrawing done in my #moleskinecahier with #frixioncolors #marker and #frixionball #pen . Still iffy on the markers, but it has an interesting chalky faded effect coloring with them. So I guess I could say they’re slowly growing on me - just depends on how I use them. - Lately I’ve been drawing my characters with a #cupofcoffee . Perhaps it’s an indication of my current state of lacking the magical substance at work, lol. — #pilotpen #frixion #pendrawing #penart #penartwork #inkart #inkdrawing #blackink #erasable #erasablepen #erasablemarker #moleskine #sketchbook #originalcharacter #malecharacter #drinkingcoffee #drinkingcupofcoffee

#throwbackthursday - An old pic of Cedrick, Vincent-Claude, and Rufus from October 2016. Today’s #workdrawing / #worksketch . Got some #frixioncolors #markers before work; just not very vibrant considering that they’re #erasable (haven’t tested their erasability yet). - As hot as it has been here in California, I’d love an ice cold #bobatea #drink . Just haven’t seen a place in Del Mar that has them - it’s just been mainly coffee, juice, and regular tea. The mall in Temecula has them and they’re pretty good, but the best place I’ve had boba drinks are at Arcadia. — #minisketchbook #sketchbook #leuchtturm1917 #leuchtturn1917 #dottedpaper #pendrawing #pensketch #penart #markerart #inkdrawing #handdrawn #pilotpen #frixonpen #originalcharacter #femalecharacter #sunglasses #messybun
