I think my eyes hurt from staring at this guy for too long...😭 Doesn’t help that I also stay up past Midnight for multiple nights.😫 - Besides looking all pretty in pink, Hr. Dr. Kasper has plenty of pour-over coffee and traditional sweets for himself on the side: Baumkuchen, Prinsesstårten, and Strudel. Both Johannes Faustuz and Cedrick have “Odin’s Eye” which requires a lot of energy to maintain, so often father and son will fight over snacks and caffeine when they’re available. Most of the time Papa Kasper gives up for the sake of his son’s needs over his (as any parent would do, plus Cedrick is quickly catching up with him on size as a teenager), making him at high risk of being an easily irritable hangry monster around other people (he’s not called “Hot-Headed Hans” for no reason). — These kind of pics take a LONG time to make - even longer if I put more painful effort of shading and lighting. Part of the time it’s gathering references, other times it’s picking and playing with color schemes (that’s why there’s a bonus cyan blue version here), but it’s mostly the drawing and coloring process that takes so long (especially the drawing when there’s tiny details). - One of them days this old millennial here have to play with REELS using video versions of my pics just for funzies (because why not 😛). Her classmates at high school think she’s a dork for liking video games, but little kids at the arcade love watching her play. Sigrid was pissed when she saw her high score on SPACE INVADERS was replaced by a new player - especially when she found out that player was Hr. Dr. Richard Kasper, the very man trying to woo her at her mother’s flower shop. My original plan was black and white with a lot more floral and skeletal details, but ended up with bold lines and CYMKW (Cyan, Yellow, Magenta, Black, White). Dr. Johannes Faustuz Kasper becomes a substitute instructor. He’s more than happy to share his encyclopedic knowledge with students, but often times he’s constantly trying to keep their attention on the chalkboard and off their phone screens. And occasionally there’ll be a student being a smart-ass just to piss him off (this is actually how he met first Dr. Tyrone Williams). -🚨‼️RANT ALERT‼️🚨- Right now there’s the big debate on opening schools up again in America despite the huge spike of COVID-19. Personally I think schools should stay closed until infections go down; if push comes to shove, a hybrid of limited and staggered in-class hours and mostly online sessions might be best. But 5 days a week all in-class? That’s asking for another spike since it’s mostly young people that spread coronavirus with minimal if no symptoms at all. I’m just absolutely infuriated and outraged with all the lost progress from the three months of lockdown. If people were more patient, kept their distance, wear their masks, learn from the 1918 flu pandemic, listened to the science, and if we had decisive leadership, we wouldn’t be in such a mess. We need to flatten the curve, not turn it into Mt. Everest and lead the world in infections and death. If this is still the first wave, Fall and Winter will be even worse. The worst thing I’m seeing is that people are becoming more complacent with the numbers of infections and deaths; how many more deaths is too many? 200K? 500K? A million? The 1918 pandemic lasted about three years; if we don’t anything and if there’s no vaccine developed in a year, how long do we want this pandemic to exist? Finally finished this one - Yay!😄 I made the original sketch all the way back in early May; that’s like two months ago.😬 - Poor Cedrick has fallen victim to the “Lockdown” haircut by his mother Freyja; he normally gets a bowlcut/undercut with fade, but desperate times means a botched haircut that’s too short in the front and uneven in the back. Hr. Dr. Johannes Faustuz Kasper and Klimt. - Klimt likes jumping up wherever someone is busy, whether it’s Freyja doing a live blog for her TV show, Hr. Dr. Kasper is on conference with a patient or reading a newspaper, or Cedrick building a Lego kit. Klimt also likes fluffing his tail on his people’s faces and meowing to get their attention whenever he wants pets and food.
