Oh my...🤭 It’s another one of these colorful steamy moments with these two. Don’t swipe right to the end if you don’t want to see the full versions.❌ Just stop.🛑 You’ve been warned.⚠️ (but I’m sure I’ll still get a few 😤 despite the warnings) - The original color scheme is a tropical one, making it perfect for an intimate scene; the other version in blue, dark and secretive. But Papa Ström won’t allow them to play much longer - he doesn’t want to see his daughter with her husband in any way. (Erik never liked Johannes Faustuz from the start; he always thought of the doctor as a quack and not of proper upbringing to marry his daughter, but it’s really because he’s jealous that he’s not as strong as his son-in-law when it comes to fighting monsters) — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #man #woman #intimatemoment #green #yellow #orange #frauv8_ocs

Took almost three hours to color this in.💀 I really need sleep now, lol. (I’ll post the speed-coloring video on IGTV as well) - Freyja and Johannes Faustuz wore cute sun hats in the last pic I made; Cedrick doesn’t want to match his parents, so he went all black despite the heat (black is just a badass color because it’s the rainbow absorbed into the abyss). This time you can really see Cedrick’s heterochromia (odd-eyes; both Cedrick and his father Hr. Dr. Kasper have it). - The California Poppy: These things bloom every year after the rain is over, and some years we get “Superblooms” when the hills are all orange and gold with them (there’d be traffic and accidents just because people would slow down to look at the hills while driving😑). They’re obviously another favorite flower of mine because of their vibrant color ; pair the poppy with the cornflower, and it’s just an awesome combination of colors (blue and yellow is classic - just look at store logos like IKEA). —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalsketch #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #lineart #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #malecharacter #teenboy #plants #flowers #californiapoppies #californiapoppy #sunhat #black #yellow #gold #orange #heterochromia #bowlcut #glasses #frauv8_ocs

Finally finished!🌸 I had to wait after work to add in the final touches before posting it up. - It’s been HOT this week!🥵 It feels like Summer, which led me to draw this pic since it’s flowery, has vibrant colors, and sun hats. ☀️ Freyja is carrying freshly picked peonies to decorate the house while Johannes Faustuz has red calla lilies to plant in her garden (he hates the sun and heat; she loves being outside, despite getting sunburned within 10 minutes). - Freyja has really been enjoying having her husband to help out with projects around the house since his suspension, but word has come out that elective surgeries are coming back to the hospital - which means he’ll be able to work again sooner than expected. With Papa Kasper operating again, Mama is going to focus her attention on spending more time with their son Cedrick and her father Erik. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalsketch #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #lineart #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #man #woman #plants #flowers #sunhat #frauv8_ocs #pink

Because why not. - I normally don’t do anything like this about myself (why I didn’t do the Art vs. Artist meme either). I’m an introvert, I don’t like attention on me, and I always draw myself as an old lady (because I’m ancient compared to most here in Instagram, lol; many don’t believe how old I am, but I’m old enough to remember Blockbuster being the source for movies before Netflix). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #5minuteartist #5minuteartistmeme

The Kaspers’ house based in Southern California, somewhere around Los Angeles. It does have a second level that’s basically a loft and attic used for storage, nothing else important. - If you zoom in the Garage, you can see what kind of vehicle each parent drives (Papa Ström has a motorcycle, Freyja has a Volvo SUV, Hr. Dr. Kasper has an old VW Beatle); Cedrick is only 14/15, so obviously he can’t drive yet (there’s three bikes available; the shopping bike is pink with a basket and crate installed, lol). — Slide 2: Cedrick studying at the Nook’s table. - Slide 3: Cedrick playing games in the Living Room when he should be in the Game Room (the Living Room has a large projection screen from the ceiling). - Slide 4: Cedrick’s Bedroom. - Slide 5: Freyja enjoying a bath in the Master Bathroom. - Slide 6: The Laundry Room. - Slide 7: The Kitchen. - Slide 8: The Master Bedroom. - Slide 9: Hr. Enhanced, original, line art. - I’m still feeling a bit burnt out... Cedrick Kasper and Tricia Williams; I included a masked version and line art for anyone who wants to color it in. - Normally they would be meeting up for tutoring sessions at the boba cafe twice a week, but with the pandemic going on, they’ll occasionally see each other whenever Cedrick is walking his dogs down the street. Tricia doesn’t like Cedrick, but she was more than eager to pick up a drink or two at the boba cafe whenever he tutored her for Algebra and Biology; nowadays she’s just glad that he’s someone who’s not her aunt Asia or little cousin Queenie, but she still doesn’t like hanging out with a boy four years younger than her. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #lineart #animestyle #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #femalecharacter #teenagers #boy #girl #masks #fashion #red #frauv8_ocs

It’s #aprilfoolsday today, yet it’s just another somber day in quarantine/social distancing (I’m still working 3 days a week, so yes, I’m an essential worker risking my health for people’s “entertainment” providing graphics on screen). - Something seems off with Cedrick this time - any guesses? (If you’ve been following me for a while, you’d notice it in regards to this OC’s clothing preferences) His hair is getting a bit shaggy too since no barber shops or salons are open with lockdown. And all three pets are with him, which doesn’t happen often. ——— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #lineart #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #boy #teenager #teenageboy #teenboy #pets #dogs #cat #stayathome #frauv8_ocs #blue #pink #yellow

This is what Johannes Faustuz is currently wearing as he works at the hospital. Normally Hr. Dr. Kasper does consultations and surgery to remove cancer tumors, but with elective surgeries delayed, he’s set aside to triage and test patients for COVID-19. - The sad news that keeps coming up: unfortunately doctors and nurses are in shortage of PPE to shield themselves from infected patients. Lots of fashion corporations are sewing up gowns and masks to help with the shortage, and places like tattoo boutiques are donating gloves; if you have extra equipment, please donate to your local hospitals. There’s also another glimmer of hope in the news in regards to PPE: some hospitals are testing if UV light is safe to use repeatedly on face shields, masks, and gowns for disinfecting so they can be used again; the downside to UV is that it tends to break materials down quickly (labs are sanitized by shining high levels of UV overnight to destroy germs). - It’s important that these guys don’t get infected - if everyone gets sick at once, more people will unnecessarily die. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #animestyle #man #doctor #ppe #personalprotectiveequipment

When I had the chance to walk around outside the other day, I noticed another invasion of organisms floating in the air: BUTTERFLIES! And “Schmetterling” happens to be my all-time foreign word - which happens to translate to “Butterfly” from German (“Papillon”, French for “Butterfly”, is also cute). These migrating butterflies look like Monarchs (which they probably are), but another possibility is the Painted Lady (they’re also orange, but not as cute). So I ended up drawing this. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #lineart #femalecharacter #woman #redhair #redhead #sittingpretty #butterflies #monarch #monarchbutterfly #monarchbutterflies #orange #frauv8_ocs

Tyrone and Kimiko on lunch break with Johannes Faustuz. (when there’s no virus) — If Tyrone’s wife Asia finds out he got hold of a beef burger, she’s going to be uber pissed (Asia is vegan, and she usually delivers her homemade lunches for him); he snags his burgers from Hr. Dr. Kasper whenever he treats his colleagues with the best burgers and shakes in SoCal (Faustuz normally has packed bento boxes, sandwiches, and juice boxes in his office refrigerator). - Kimiko usually settles with a bowl of ramen from the vending machine and bottle of tea; if she’s ambitious, Kimiko would have made her own sushi rolls for lunch. For fun, she likes to compare her bento boxes with Faustuz’s (he was raised by a Japanese aunt). —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #lineart #animestyle #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #characterdesign #malecharacter #man #doctor #femalecharacter #woman #nurse #frauv8_ocs

Millions of us are glued to our phones for various reasons, whether it’s a viral video or a virus destroying life as we know it. Regardless of whether they’re good or bad, smart phones are essential in today’s world; they are mobile computers, a way of communicating and connecting with everyone, a means of news and literature. In the extreme end, it’s a means of comfort and addiction for many to escape the harsh reality of the world despite the cost of sleep, sanity, and curtesy. — Johannes Faustuz rarely has time to be on his phone. But when he gets a chance to check it, it’s often a video message from his wife Freyja encouraging him to keep up with his work, or his son Cedrick sending him a sarcastic meme/GIF/video to cheer him up. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #lineart #pixaloop #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #smartphone #smartphoneglow #frauv8_ocs

Now for something cute and Kawaii!💖 There’s been way too much doom and gloom around here. (it’s been rainy today too🌧) - I felt like making a sticker sheet of the Kaspers/Ströms and their adorable creatures - in Chibi form!❤️ I’ve been wanting to make these for some time since they are my main OCs; I could make a fantasy version (it’s been a really long time since I’ve drawn their fantasy versions), or perhaps a few animated ones (one sticker per slide if I do that). - In case people are wondering what pet/creature is what: •Klimt: Norwegian Forest Cat •Freud: Dachshund •Fritz: Wolpertinger •Rosemarie: Fairy •Fräulein Flicka: Doberman •Junko: Hyōsube - Comment below to say which sticker is your favorite.🤗 —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #family #pets #creatures #chibi #chibis #chibistyle #kawaii #cute #stickers #frauv8_ocs

If you’re a doctor, nurse, or lab technician doing tests right now, kudos to you; you’re on the frontlines taking care of the sick for unknown hours. Virtual hugs and high fives to you. - I was watching a doctor’s blog online, and he was saying that all medical students had been sent home and certain departments that are of less concern were being converted into rooms for hospital beds; many doctors from the converted areas were reassigned in teams for triage and general treatment as preparation for the “Calm Before the Storm”. That’s a bit frightening but also reassuring to hear that hospitals are preparing for the worst. — Poor Papa Kasper has been one of those reassigned for triaging and general treatment since his Oncology department has been downgraded and his surgeries postponed during the outbreak; Cedrick is also a doctor like his father, but being only 14-15, he’s treated as as medical student and sent home for protection. Since doctors are not machines, Johannes Faustuz often power naps in between shifts and appointments if he can’t get hold of coffee. When he returns to his office/dorm, he plops right down on his couch next to his potted plant for much needed rest. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #doctor #frauv8_ocs

Stuck inside the house like millions (if not billions) of people around the world. At least there’s internet, lol. It’s not fun being locked in like if we’re all in quarantine, but it’s for the sake of our health and others who are more vulnerable (people over 50, immune issues, etc.). It’s down to 10 people per group now in the USA (5 in other countries), bars and theaters are closed, take-out/drive-thru only for restaurants, pharmacies/grocery stores open for limited hours, and other essential services are open. 2020 has been a roller coaster ride for the first quarter of the year. - Feel free to color in the line art in the 3rd slide, and tag me for credit and so I can see your work: @frauv8 #colorthisinyourstyle_fv8 — Cedrick here is quite the gamer when he’s not bogged down with his studies and work at the hospital. But in this case, he’s playing against his father Hr. Dr. Kasper who’s staying at the hospital to help out with the health crisis; Cedrick was sent home because he’s not an adult (he’s only 14-15). He’s also the only one who can take care of the house and pets while his poor mother Freyja is stuck in Sweden with her father and cousins due to the travel ban. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #boy #teenager #teenageboy #teenboy #pet #dog #playingvideogames #indoors #nighttime #stayathome #frauv8_ocs
