It’s pretty much official that Johannes Faustuz is a millennial with how he’s dressed and acts (getting old, but ain’t that old - just like ME!) This version of the Kasper Project also takes place in the near future. - You can actually figure out what year Faustuz would be born on by looking at son’s birthday - Cedrick was born on Friday the 13th of October. The last time we had one was in 2017, and 2006 before that (the year I started becoming invested with this project). If Cedrick was born in 2006, he’d be 15 in 2021; Faustuz would have to be born in 1981. To push it a bit more into the future, if Cedrick was born in 2017, Faustuz would be born in 1992. Another character sheet: Freyja and Vincent-Claude - These two are rarely seen together for many reasons. Aside from not working in the same region in the world and working in different fields of interests, the Herr Doktor does his best to keep Vincent-Claude far away from his wife - Vinnie can be a bit of a womanizer. His latest obsession is Kimiko Abe, trying his best to woo her despite her rejections; but that doesn’t stop him from looking up and flirting with another female at whim. - Vincent-Claude is the son of Dr. Leyon DeValeur, Director of the hospital where the Kaspers work; he also works at the university as an Archeology and Biology professor. He’s not as familiar with the obscure and occult as the Kaspers, but as an Archeologist he’s able to obtain some artifacts if Erik is unable to provide a modern equivalent. - Freyja is a fashion supermodel who also works as a magazine editor and TV show host (think Heidi Klum with “Project Runway”); she’s also the heiress to the Ström Company run by her father Erik, wife to her childhood sweetheart, and mother to a teenage son. Papa Ström and Papa Kasper. - They never quite see each other eye to eye - figuratively and literally (maybe when Johannes Faustuz was Cedrick’s age he was the same height as Erik). Erik always thought of the Herr Doktor as weak, scrawny, and a pushover; Faustuz thinks of his father-in-law as insensitive, stubborn, and a bully. Despite their disagreements, they both love Freyja and Cedrick very much - sometimes to the point they’ll fight each other for their family’s affection. He’s currently training to become a surgeon specializing in augmented and virtual reality, and works with his father as his lab assistant. He’s very talented and sharp, but can be a bit of a hothead if he’s overwhelmed with work. He’s still a child trying to get better with his social skills, making him vulnerable to others close to his age. - (Johannes) Faustuz Kasper Oncologist/Geneticist AGE: 40 DOB: 23 December♑️ HEIGHT: 195cm - 6’4” BLOOD TYPE: AB •Faustuz is a strict no-nonsense doctor constantly working on lab work diagnosing various types of cancers and diseases. Coworkers nicknamed him “The White Grim Reaper” due to his accuracy of how long a patient has left to live. He’s the director’s right-hand man always keeping things in order, making almost everyone afraid of him. Despite his stoic and somewhat crass uptight behavior, the Herr Doktor has a kind heart towards everyone and can be a bit dorky when explaining his work. - Both father and son are from Kiel, Germany and work together at a hospital in Los Angeles, California, USA. They also have the same blood type, hair color (styled differently), and are both lactose intolerant (why Faustuz drinks black coffee and Cedrick has energy drinks and soy lattes). Cedrick has heterochromia iridum, or odd-eyes, which he inherited from his father (Faustuz has sectoral heterochromia while Cedrick has complete heterochromia). Both are very tall, Cedrick quickly catching up with his father; both are also ectomorphs, having high metabolisms and constantly fighting each other for food to replenish their energy. Doctor Leyon DeValuer and Herr Doktor Cedrick Kasper. - It’s not often you see the director wearing #scrubs but he does wear them occasionally, especially when he’s overseeing Cedrick performing operations with his father Johannes Faustuz. Leyon loves to randomly show up and loom around, which scares most people at the hospital. But often times he’s busy with meetings and administrative functions, leaving a lot of work to his protege Faustuz. - If he’s not wearing Adidas sneakers with mismatched socks, Cedrick wears slippers; this time he’s rocking out some #pinkslippers. Why slippers? Well, I remember when I was learning some German back in the day, there’s a phrase about putting on one’s slippers meaning to hurry up and go out to do something quickly (I seriously cannot remember how to say it 😑). Kimiko was a late addition, and Granger was originally a man in my earliest concepts back in 2005-06 (yes, the Kasper project is that old; even I’m baffled by that since it’s something I’ve worked on since I was a teenager). The current idea of the project is like a blend of ‘Hetalia’ and any slice of life anime - it focuses on random ideas and everyday moments in these characters’ lives, making it more lighthearted compared to its original 2005-06 concept.
