I finally made it - a chibi Disney Princesses wallpaper pattern. Idk how long it took me to make it, but it was sunrise after finishing it… Didn’t include every princess, and I need my sleep… - @thedisneyprincesses @disney — #malecharacter #femalecharacter #characterart #disney #disneyprincess #princess #cinderella #snowwhite #ariel #rapunzel #belle #tiana #anna #aurora #fanart #patterndesign #pattern #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #drawing #wallpaper #red #chibiart #chibistyle #cute #kawaii

I finally made one - it’s a pattern!💀 It’s just like the Sanrio characters origami paper I used to get for paper crafts, only with my OCs and their pet Hellhound. I’m open to making another pattern soon, but not sure what or who… I might do all the medical characters, mythical creatures, everything Sigrid as a schoolgirl, or even something like a Disney Princess pattern - who knows.🤷🏻‍♀️ — #malecharacter #originalcharacterart #originalcharacters #originalcharacterdesign #originalcharacterdrawing #characterart #patterndesign #patterns #pattern #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #drawing #grimreaper #hellhound #skull #skulls #soul #star #cross #yellow #red #blue #green #black #white #chibi #chibiart #chibistyle #frauv8_ocs

Chibi style this time! I’ve had this idea in mind for a while, but never quite got to drawing it... (It’s currently Spring, this is a Winter pic, and it’s going to be freaking Summer soon!) - Sigrid always hated Richard’s fur coat; the only time she ever liked her boyfriend’s coat was when it was Winter. Whenever Sigrid started shivering while walking to and from school, Richard would rush over to wrap her inside his coat with a scarf for extra warmth and shelter from the snow. Initially she would be embarrassed being seen with a man wearing an oversized fur coat (her school also forbids dating, making her even more nervous whenever they’re seen together in public), but quickly would be happy just to be warm and safe as he accompanied her home - often at Aina’s request (Aina didn’t want her daughter to walk home alone and get attacked by bullies again). Sigrid would even occasionally snuggle up and hide herself completely inside Richard’s coat like a kangaroo’s pouch if she felt really cold (and wrote in her diary that she enjoyed doing so just to smell Richard’s cologne and hear his heartbeat). — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #animestyle #chibi #chibiart #chibistyle #chibidrawing #winter #snow #furcoat

It’s Papa Kasper’s turn to work at home as a Biology 101 professor in place of Vinnie DeValeur (Prof. DeValeur has some family matters in France at this time). And like Freyja, Faustuz has his moments with the cat, their son, and technology (in this case, rolling blackouts due to the extreme weather here in California). If I have to make another one of these shorts, it’d be Papa Ström constantly asking for help since he’s not very tech savvy. - •BONUS OC FACTS: Now we know what Cedrick’s middle name is, lol. “Magnus” was the original name Richard wanted for Faustuz, but Sigrid hated it and wanted a more formal and traditional name. When Sigrid died after giving birth, Richard kept her wish by naming their son “Johannes Faustuz”; knowing this story, Faustuz made it Cedrick’s middle name. Cedrick got his name because it means “loving ruler” from the Celtic word “Cariad” meaning “Love”, and root “-rik/ric/rich” meaning “King” (just like Erik, Richard, and Heinrich - all important family members to the Kaspers and Ströms). Cedrick’s mother Freyja is also a big fan of literature, so it’s also a nod to “Ivanhoe”, “Little Lord Flauntleroy”, and of course, “Harry Potter”. ——— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #femalecharacter #malecharacter #man #boy #cat #chibi #chibistyle #kawaii #cute #stayhome #workfromhome #workathome #frauv8_ocs

An aesthetic pink color scheme on a pic that’s making everyone turn pink for all kinds of reasons.🤭 — This isn’t my “Artist Bend Challenge” pic. I have a vague idea once I get enough art characteristics to remove (it’s related to the chibi versions of Sigrid and Richard featured in the Instastory, not this pic of them here). You still have time to add to the prompt - details in my Instastory Highlight if you want to participate. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #sketchbookautodesk #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacter #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #halftone #pink #blue #yellow #aestheticpink #frauv8_ocs

Quick doodle. - Going all the way back to the late 1990s when Freyja and Hr. Dr. Kasper were the same age as their son Cedrick. They’re childhood sweethearts, first meeting at the library Aunt Yoko worked when they were about 10 (Faustuz is 6 months older than Freyja). At first they couldn’t understand each other, but they were immediately drawn to each other with a love for books and their families being involved with the mythical and occult; over the years Faustuz learned English (Freyja was already fluent in English on top of her native Swedish) and Freyja struggled with German (Faustuz is German-Danish from Kiel), allowing them to communicate their thoughts and feelings for each other and what books they had read together (they normally speak English to each other, but for more intimate conversations, they switch to German). Because of their hard work, they have a very strong bond of love and respect that has lasted for 3 decades. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadrodrawing #digitaldoodle #doodle #drawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #femalecharacter #malecharacter #charactersheet #couple #chibi #frauv8_ocs

Freyja working from home. Chibi style. - Each episode is usually a challenge for three people to make fashion out of unconventional items in one day; since she’s now stuck at home, her show has become focused more on what projects she’s been up to for herself and the family. Freyja’s current challenge to her viewers is to make and donate masks, gowns, and button headbands for doctors and nurses at the hospital where her husband works. - With the quarantine, Asia has been binge watching her favorite show and watching Freyja’s live-streams. Tricia and Queenie already know about Freyja being Hr. Dr. Kasper’s wife and Cedrick’s mother since the Meerjungfrau incident, but Asia has been speechless finally knowing the man she despises the most is married to the woman who inspires her. ——— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #femalecharacter #malecharacter #woman #man #boy #girl #cat #chibi #chibistyle #kawaii #cute #afropuffs #stayhome #workfromhome #workathomemom #frauv8_ocs

Now for something cute and Kawaii!💖 There’s been way too much doom and gloom around here. (it’s been rainy today too🌧) - I felt like making a sticker sheet of the Kaspers/Ströms and their adorable creatures - in Chibi form!❤️ I’ve been wanting to make these for some time since they are my main OCs; I could make a fantasy version (it’s been a really long time since I’ve drawn their fantasy versions), or perhaps a few animated ones (one sticker per slide if I do that). - In case people are wondering what pet/creature is what: •Klimt: Norwegian Forest Cat •Freud: Dachshund •Fritz: Wolpertinger •Rosemarie: Fairy •Fräulein Flicka: Doberman •Junko: Hyōsube - Comment below to say which sticker is your favorite.🤗 —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #family #pets #creatures #chibi #chibis #chibistyle #kawaii #cute #stickers #frauv8_ocs

It’s the whole family! As a cute chibi pile! — Someone had questioned whether if everyone would be blond, but NO! Not all Swedes, Germans, or Scandinavians in general are blond in real life, so this family should reflect that fact (my grandma is Swedish, and she had auburn hair like Freyja’s cousins Einar and Gunnar). It’s a silly, stupid stereotype that gets tacked on for lots of nationalities that are “majority White” (*glares at a certain popular anime that starts with an “H”*). — Freyja loves both halves of her family, but it’s hinted that she might love her Kasper part more due to the challenges of having an overbearing husband and moody Wunderkind that tests her wits versus the Ströms constantly spoiling her like a princess without question. - Being married to Freyja, poor Johannes Faustuz is often assumed to be a Ström himself by her coworkers and the media (getting the name “Jonah Fritz Ström” from the confusion); he obviously hates it not being called by his actual name and title, but for family’s sake, he’s willing to put up with it. - As for family traits, Ströms usually have blue or green eyes and some shade of blond or red hair. Cedrick looks a lot like his Ström relatives (especially his grandfather Erik and mother’s cousin Werner), but is immediately casted out as a Kasper with his odd eyes (Kaspers inherit heterochromia if they have blue eye genes). — #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #family #chibi #chibistyle #frauv8_ocs

Oh Instagram with your silly square format...✂️ - If Cedrick is “The Boy With Odd Eyes”, his father Johannes Faustuz is “The Oncologist With Heterochromia”. Heterochromia is the scientific way of saying odd-colored eyes, and both father and son have it; in some cases, it’s a dominant trait. For the Kaspers, only those who inherit blue eye genes from both parents will get it - almost always one eye being green and the other blue (few times there has been brown and blue eye combinations, like Hansel’s daughter Leisa). Heterochromia for the Kaspers also means they inherit an ability to see the strengths and weaknesses of mythical creatures as well as see hidden beings that could potentially become harmful (such as Ghosts and Yōkai). The ability also allows for Faustuz and Cedrick to have perfect eyesight at the cost of mental and physical energy (this explains their addiction to caffeine, constant snacking, need for power naps, and often being grouchy at the hospital). - I was debating whether I wanted to draw this pic like the last one, but there’s just something about the pencil brush texture that kept me from doing that. Now I’m going to figure my next two pics... It could be sketchy like this, or digitally inked like the others - depending on how the characters are going to be like. - Comment below what you think.🤗 —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #digitalsketch #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #colorstudy #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #man #blond #shirtandtie #longhair #japanese #german #yellow #mangastyle #animestyle #frauv8_ocs #frauv8

The votes are in!🗳 Cedrick Kasper in Color Scheme 1 was voted top choice, but Queenie Williams and Kimiko Abe had some love too (OCs in 2nd slide). I have pinks and purples planned out for each of them respectively; Queenie will have a tea party theme while Kimiko will have a kawaii Harajuku decora theme. And while planning out this drawing, another idea for Papa Kasper came up since this has a playful pose and vibe. - So wtf is this adorkable kid sticking his tongue out for? What a silly boy. 🤪 The last slide has a photo of a neon green jacket that inspired me. I gave Cedrick’s jacket skulls instead of roses because Kaspers don’t do pretty - they do weird and creepy. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #boy #teenboy #teenager #neoncolors #yellow #green #blue #hoodie #jacket #bowlcut #glasses #japanese #german

A break from the “Meerjungfrau” series (I’m finally able to remember how to spell “Mermaid” in German - yay!). Time for something cute and fun. - May 3rd is #twodifferentcoloredshoesday. 👞👟 And Cedrick is really proud of himself, lol. Papa Kasper is either impressed that his son actually made an effort to wear the same kind of shoes, or is ashamed seeing his son still unable to dress himself properly. - Cedrick is always in a hurry and tired, so most of the time he forgets to check his socks and shoes before putting them on. Often it’s a slipper on one foot and a laced shoe on the other because he only has time to tie laces for one shoe. - Me? I used to have mismatched socks all the time (like one pink and one green). But after buying only black and grey socks in only one brand in recent years, it saves you a lot of time in the morning not thinking about what color to wear - especially when they don’t show anyway. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #characters #chibi #originalcharacters #animestyle #mangastyle #malecharacters #blond #glasses #halftone #blue #red #shoes #adidasshoes #nationaltwodifferentcoloredshoesday
