#sketchdump again… It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything, and it’s still going to be a long while before something will come to mind again… Artist’s Block sucks… Burnout sucks… And my work schedule looks busy this week…😓 — #malecharacter #femalecharacter #man #girl #frauv8ocs #frauv8_ocs #couple #originalcharacterart #originalcharacters #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #animestyle #drawing #flower #pink #green #blue #red
Another #sketchdump: Studying/researching with Sigrid and Richard. Whenever Sigrid had a lot of homework and papers to write, she’d ask her boyfriend if he could take her to the local university’s library for better resources (she attended a religious all-girls academy). Sigrid initially didn’t expect Richard to be an academic person since he’s always getting rid of Tatzelwurms and capturing souls around her mother’s house while goofing off and wooing her - thus she assumed he’s more of a jock than a nerd (he was popular as a kid, the opposite of what she was). But after accidentally bumping into him during a field trip to the local university, Sigrid saw his serious side as an Epidemiologist researching plant extracts for some of his patients’ illnesses (Freyja’s mother was one of Richard’s patients). As their relationship progressed, Richard started helping Sigrid with her schoolwork, especially with Math, Science, and English; Sigrid would share her knowledge of plants with Richard since she and her mother Aina grew hundreds of them in their greenhouse that were used for potions and medicines. — #malecharacter #femalecharacter #man #girl #frauv8ocs #frauv8_ocs #couple #originalcharacterart #originalcharacters #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #animestyle #drawing #books
Sigrid and Richard out on another Summertime arcade date. - This was originally part of another sketch dump that I cut out because I liked it the most out of the three I drew, and I added in a partial arcade machine and dialogue to make it feel more complete. (I’ll post up the original sketch dump in my Instastory and highlight it under “SIGRID’S DIARY” for future reference) — #frauv8_ocs #frauv8ocs #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #date #drawing #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #originalcharacterart #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #comic #animestyle #yellow

Random sketch dump with Richard, Sigrid, and the stray neighborhood tomcat nicknamed Odin after “Odin’s Eye”, the Kaspers’ heterochromia ability to see spirits and monsters. - Odin is a white tomcat with odd-eyes who’d constantly meow and yowl late at night to attract the ladies. Lately he hasn’t been roaming around as much due to his age, and has been staying over at Aina’s backyard where Hedy enjoys sleeping in the greenhouse; the two cats had been inseparable until Odin’s death a year later, resulting in three litters of kittens. Like Hedy, Odin was very affectionate - especially towards Sigrid. Richard doesn’t like cats (Grim Reapers hate cats for their 9 lives and chasing away dead souls that need capturing), but has a soft spot for Odin due to their many similarities and the fact Odin’s on his last life out of nine. — #autodesksketchbook #digitaldrawing #digitalart #malecharacter #femalecharacter #frauv8_ocs #originalcharacters #man #girl #cat #oddeyedcat #whitecat #sketchdump

Another colored #sketchdump of Richard and Sigrid. - Still stuck with Artist Block but also having fun with patterns, colors, and fashion from the past; so far, I’m really loving fashion from the 70s and 80s (I also love music from that time period, especially Synth-Pop, New Wave, and Euro-Disco). Maybe because it’s from an era long ago that looked magical growing up (I was a 90s kid). — #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #man #girl #cat #flowers #originalcharacterart #originalcharacters #frauv8_ocs #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing

#sketchdump of three generations of Kaspers drinking coffee and tea. ☕️ Hr. Dr. Kasper doesn’t have any warm feelings for his father Richard (for lots of reasons), often getting upset whenever someone mentions him and how much he’s like his father; on the other hand, Johannes Faustuz gets emotional to the point of tears whenever someone talks about his mother Sigrid. He’s been ashamed of the fact that he’s the child of a man who was a playboy, called a “Quack”, and married a teenage girl (large age gaps were much more common back then). But after reading his mother’s diary, listening to stories from his grandmother Aina and father-in-law Erik, and finding tapes Richard recorded before his death, Faustuz has slowly become more understanding of who his father really was. - Cedrick knows very little about his grandfather, but has been told he’s just as much of a jokester like Richard when he was a boy by Tante Yoko. — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #man #boy #girl #originalcharacterart #originalcharacters #characterdesign #frauv8_ocs #coffee #tea

Another #sketchdump with Richard, Sigrid, Aina, and a baby Johannes. - Aina had always been saddened by her daughter’s fate to die young, afraid of Sigrid not living a full life until then. Richard’s appearance was when Aina knew Sigrid’s time was almost up, but she also realized that Death sent the youngest Kasper - an unmarried, handsome traveling Grim Reaper/doctor - to observe Sigrid as a possible act of mercy (Richard isn’t as hasty to kill compared to his father; he also had pity for Sigrid). She was beyond happy when her daughter and Richard finally fell in love, got married, and had a son, but was soon devastated with Sigrid’s predicted demise followed by Richard’s unexpected death; her last glimmer of joy was her grandson Johannes Faustuz, whom she enjoyed taking care of during the summer months whenever he visited Copenhagen from Kiel. — #malecharacter #femalecharacter #man #woman #girl #baby #characterdesign #originalcharacterart #originalcharacters #frauv8_ocs #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing
Another #sketchdump... Pink seems to be the color creeping in here... - I have 2 other pics of Richard and Sigrid saved as drafts but never posted in queue; not sure if I want to post them up anytime soon... Maybe when I’m absolutely stuck with Artist’s Block then I’ll post them (they’re scrapped pics set aside and never posted). — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #man #girl #cats #originalcharacterart #originalcharacters #characterdesign #frauv8_ocs #pink
Another Richard and Sigrid #sketchdump. — Poor Richard had his clothes removed and taken away every time he’s done killing Tatzelwurms in the backyard - Aina got fed up cleaning the blood dripping onto her rugs and would rather wash his clothes instead. Aina did her best to get Richard’s clothes done before Sigrid gets home from school, but occasionally Sigrid had no choice but to deal with a naked Grim Reaper/Monster Hunter locked up in her bathroom. Sigrid was initially upset and embarrassed (especially if she actually needed to use toilet or shower), but over time - and especially when they were officially a couple - she would enjoy teasing him. - There’s also a glimpse of Richard suffering from Lovesickness (mainly caused by expressing nonstop affection and getting constant rejection over a long period of time), the first symptoms being high fever and extreme fatigue. — #femalecharacter #malecharacter #man #girl #couple #characterart #characterdesign #originalcharacters #frauv8_ocs #originalcharacterart #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing
#sketchdump of Richard and Sigrid again. - Who knew Sigrid had such a snarky attitude and potty mouth?🤭 (their son Johannes Faustuz would inherit both from her, lol) Sigrid also likes it when Richard is wearing his ridiculous gym shorts for obvious reasons 😏 (Aina teases her daughter about how much she stares at his butt whenever he leaves the flower shop). - Sigrid initially hated it when Richard called “Siri”, but as their relationship progressed from friendship to romance, she didn’t mind it as much - in fact, she missed it when he was gone for months at a time when he was traveling for work. After officially becoming a couple, she would giggle every time he whispered her nickname into her ear before kissing her goodbye; this was also the last thing Richard did for Sigrid before she died, knowing that her last memory would be a happy one as he pulled out her soul. — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #man #girl #originalcharacterart #originalcharacters #characterdesign #frauv8_ocs #animestyle #pink #blue #yellow #green #white
#sketchdump of the Kasper Brothers Heinrich and Richard. — Despite their 5-year age gap and opposing personalities, the two brothers were extremely close, often found at the local bar drinking and singing karaoke. — #malecharacter #brothers #men #man #boy #characterart #characterdesign #frauv8_ocs #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing
#sketchdump of the Kasper Brothers and their lovely ladies. — Heinrich met his wife Yoko abroad in Hiroshima, Japan during a business trip there. The two quickly fell in love and married within two months, starting a family as soon as Yoko moved to Kiel with Heinrich. They had two children - a son Hansel, and a daughter Hannah two years later; but because he didn’t have a son who inherited “Odin’s Eye”, Heinrich had to give up his position as family heir to his younger brother Richard. This caused a brief rift in the brothers’ relationship, but Richard quickly bonded with the two children, often spoiling them with candy and toys every time he came home to Kiel. Heinrich and Yoko would take in Richard’s son Johannes Faustuz after he died; Yoko would continue to raise Faustuz as her own after her own children had left home and Heinrich’s death from lung cancer. - Richard and Sigrid took much longer to establish their relationship as a couple. Richard had just broken off his engagement and was sent to Copenhagen to a flower shop; he realized he was sent to observe the shopkeeper’s teenage daughter Sigrid who was cursed with only two years left to live. Richard immediately felt pity but was also smitten by Sigrid’s beauty, constantly wooing her with gifts and affection whenever he visited her. Sigrid initially didn’t want anything to do with him with his playboy reputation and being so much older than her; but after Richard suffered a serious case of lovesickness during a visit, Sigrid allowed him to recover in her room, which lead to a night of unexpected passion. Richard and Sigrid were married in a year; they had a son, but Sigrid died a few days after giving birth. Richard felt so much guilt in Sigrid’s death that he soon followed after her from heartbreak and illness almost three years later (there’s been hearsay that Richard hasn’t died but was sent to the underworld to keep souls from coming back out; there’s also rumors saying that he’s actually Death himself). — #femalecharacter #malecharacter #brothers #men #man #woman #girl #characterart #characterdesign #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing
Tatzelwurms are not to be messed with - they look cute, but they’re extremely vicious and destructive to both plants and Reapers alike. They’re drawn to the scent of rare plants and minerals in the earth, causing them to dig them up and burrow nearby to produce large litters. After countless times getting torn apart and patched up, and Sigrid not very happy about the method of extermination, Richard ponders on creating a repellent to keep Tatzelwurms out of Aina’s backyard. Included are previous mentions and encounters of the Tatzelwurm (and there might be more to come). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacterart #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #frauv8_ocs #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #man #girl #tatzelwurm #comic

Another #sketchdump. I’m still trying to figure out what to draw next, but doodling these kind of help clear out clutter in my head… I might end up making another Fan Arts pic, some DTIYS Challenge, or even try doing a redraw of something if I can’t figure out what to do. Otherwise, I still need to work on my website and make new OC pics for the “CHARACTERS” section. - About each sketch: •Richard noticed Sigrid liked collecting fashion ads from discarded magazines, particularly of high-end power suits and dresses. Even though he wasn’t fond of wearing formal clothes in general, Richard decided to save up to buy an Armani suit to impress Sigrid on their first formal dinner date as a couple. •Sigrid works for her mother Aina at their flower shop/house arranging and selling bouquets, as well as tending the hundreds of plants growing in the backyard garden and greenhouse. It was on Valentine’s Day while selling roses when she first met Richard. •During a school field trip, Sigrid accidentally bumped into Richard during a tour of the local university’s campus; she finds out that he does research there as an Epidemiologist when he’s not busy traveling abroad and killing rogue monsters. Whenever she needs to do a report or feels like reading on random topics, Sigrid would ask if Richard could take her to the library for resources. •Sigrid’s favorite things to eat were ice cream and Rødgrød, both rich with cream; whenever she tried to offer her boyfriend some, Richard immediately refused to avoid horrible digestive issues that come from being lactose intolerant. — #malecharacter #femalecharacter #man #girl #frauv8ocs #frauv8_ocs #couple #originalcharacterart #originalcharacters #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #animestyle
I’m gonna be fully vaccinated with my second dose of Moderna - yay! So far, I can tell I’m going to have a super sore arm again (some movements are starting to feel slightly uncomfortable), but I won’t know for sure until tomorrow. I’m still going to wear my masks because my work conditions don’t allow for proper social distancing, and better safe than sorry - especially indoors wherever I can’t maintain distance from other people (the “honor system” is BS here in America - I trust NOBODY after of all the crap the previous POTUS had said and done, and lots people will do and say whatever to not follow the rules regardless of the consequences). - Anyway… In this short, Cedrick can finally be vaccinated like his papa - yay! (but he still wants his driver’s permit at 14, lol; kids 12-15 can be vaccinated now). — #malecharacter #boy #man #originalcharacters #frauv8_ocs #autodesksketchbook #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #vaccinationdone✔️

Delivery for Sigrid! … except she’s not happy with who came with it. Actually… She’ll be eating him as well.💀 - Sigrid wasn’t always the nicest to Richard when they first met, especially knowing his past as a playboy, being a Kasper/Grim Reaper, and his age (Sigrid calls him an “old man”, but he’s not old - just older like a brother or cousin). But deep down inside, Sigrid had always liked him and wanted to have him for herself. — #autodesksketchbook #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #man #girl #characterart #originalcharacters #frauv8_ocs #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #comic #sketchdump #animestyle
