Quick comic pic… - In his struggle with emotions, Death, known as Richard in his human form, finds it challenging to process and comprehend the depths of love and the desire to care for another person. Accustomed to his role of collecting and overseeing souls, Death has rarely experienced the complexities of love and nurturing, often focusing on maintaining the balance of souls in their final destinations or assuming the roles of a doctor or handyman to conceal his true nature. The creatures that result from lost and wandering souls can even escalate to the level of God-Class Monsters in the worst-case scenarios. Throughout his incarnations, Death has never witnessed the longevity required to fully experience “True Love” and establish a family of his own. However, as Richard, he becomes profoundly sensitive to the irresistible pull of love when he encounters Sigrid, despite his eventual responsibility of ending her life. - #digitalart #digitaldrawing #art #drawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #animestyle #animeartstyle #mangaart #manga #sketchbookautodesk #autodesksketchbook #sketchdump #comic #webcomic #comicsart #artwork #originalart #artoninstagram #originalcharacters #characterart #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #blackandwhite #text #halftone #halftoneart #artistsoninstagram #artistoninstagram

Something from April that wasn’t posted up despite shown as a pair of Insta-Stories (now featured somewhere within the Highlight “Siri’s Diary V3”). I’m quite busy with the latest “6 Fan Arts” prompt, gathering references and sketching things out (basically Brainstorming). - Richard is a bit sensitive about any mention and photos showing him as a “weak little human” (considering the fact he’s the Incarnation of Death Himself and is technically many thousands of years old as a Deity). Sigrid finds it adorable seeing her boyfriend in such a flustered state, and enjoys hearing all the numerous stories and antics from his older brother Heinrich. #art #drawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #digitalart #digitaldrawing #originalart #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #brothers #boys #man #girl #sketchdump #comic #webcomic #character #characterart #artistoninstagram #artofinstagram #artoninstagram

Einar is back again for Pride Month, this time stirring up some trouble by stealing Johannes away from Freyja for a “Boys Night Out”. Einar loves teasing his younger cousin Freyja by flirting with her husband - and if he’s lucky, Johannes will flirt back just to play along and see how mad she can get (Johannes thinks Freyja is the most cute when she’s upset; Einar does it to annoy her like any older sibling would do, though many do wonder if he’s really attracted to Johannes because Einar and Freyja share similar preferences). - Einar, his younger brother Gunnar, and Freyja are the three Ström cousins who resemble the most alike with their shades of red hair and freckles (Einar has chestnut hair, Gunnar has auburn hair, and Freyja has strawberry blonde hair; the other two cousins are another set of brothers, Ragnar and Werner, who are raven-haired and light blond respectively). Freyja’s the closest in age with Gunnar (3 months apart), but Einar is her favorite cousin because they played dress-up and with dolls as children, as well as share a strong passion for fashion and design (he’s her cohost and main judge in her TV show “FLASH FASHION”). — #malecharacter #malecharacters #man #men #frauv8ocs #frauv8_ocs #originalcharacterart #originalcharacters #sketchbookautodesk #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #animestyle #pridemonth #artofinstagram #artoninstagram #artwork #webcomic #comic #comics

Oh Cedrick… You’re in so much trouble…😅 (it’s actually posted on @wunderkindck) Tricia, on the other hand, is enjoying how embarrassed her substitute professor is from Cedrick’s IG post. But she’s also curious about the past century’s tech, music, and fashion so she often asks about stuff he, her uncle Tyrone, and aunt Asia used back then. - Being a Millennial born sometime in the 1980s, Hr. Dr. Kasper’s been really hit hard with the latest retro (especially Y2K) trends going on - he was his son Cedrick’s age around at that time (14 - 16 years old). And he’s a bit sensitive showing off his past self, but apparently Cedrick thinks it’s funny and cool at the same time that he wore all that stuff (many Millennials like myself aren’t enthusiastic about the Y2K fashion - I grew up with it and not entirely liking it entirely at the time because I got dress-coded so much at school wearing cropped tops and low-rise jeans are actually awful to wear - they really hurt your hips!). #comics #comic #art #drawing #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #originalart #originalcharacters #originalcharacter #malecharacter #femalecharacter #y2k #jncojeans #jnco

Death and cats… (unposted pic from about a month ago) He claims to hate them, especially when they have multiple lives (it’s like the game “Wack-A-Mole” to him) and chase souls as if they’re yarn balls (making his basic task of collecting souls more difficult), but deep down within the dark void of his hollow rib cage Death has a soft spot for them due to their affection towards him and occasional gift of lost souls they managed to catch. Though all cats can see souls, cats with odd-eye also share his ability to simultaneously see both living and death beings (many cultures see Heterochromia as magical, the green/brown eye representing the Earth and life, while the blue represents Heaven and death). - As a human, Death refers to himself in 3rd person and takes on his current incarnation’s name (Richard Kasper) to avoid confusion amongst Grim Reapers and to keep his true identity secret to anyone else aside from family (99% of people who discovered he’s Death die within hours, including ex-lovers and coworkers; his girlfriend Sigrid is an exception because she’s already cursed to have her soul personally collected by Death at a set time). - #art #drawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #digitalart #digitaldrawing #originalcharacter #malecharacter #man #cat #cats #souls #death #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #animestyle #comics #comic

Richard & his older brother Heinrich. (There’s mention of a younger sister, but Sabrina isn’t a Kasper - she’s their half-sister from their mother’s affair with the American soldier she left with when Heinrich was 12 and Richard was 4) - Their personalities may be opposites of each other, but like peanut butter and jelly they’re inseparable when they’re put together - especially when hunting monsters and collecting souls as Grim Reapers. Heinrich is always around to pull the reins on Richard’s impulsive behavior while Richard tags along to make sure Heinrich has a fun time no matter what. Ever since their mother left their father, the brothers made a pact to stick together and watch over each other. This bond was tested when Heinrich broke his betrothal with Sonja and married Yoko instead, forcing the duties of Heir to Richard despite being the younger son and incarnation of Death with a limited lifespan (he expected to live a carefree playboy life); but with the birth of Hansel & Hannah (Death has a soft spot for children, always reluctant to take souls from them because of wasted potential), Richard reaffirmed his oath with Heinrich and took his role as Heir more seriously by taking their father’s ultimatum - accepting an arranged engagement with an Enchantresses named Sheila. But since becoming bankrupt and losing his medical practice due to her frivolous spending, Richard broke off his engagement with Sheila and now takes up random jobs within the occult community. Heinrich & Yoko had offered to let him stay in their house, but Richard mainly stays in a distant cousin’s hotel in Copenhagen where he can keep a close eye on his latest assignment sent directly from Fate: observing a teen girl named Sigrid with a rare Life Curse set to go off within 2-5 years. Heinrich doesn’t like the fact Richard is dating Sigrid now, but he sees the positive changes in Richard’s demeanor. - #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #art #drawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #originalart #artistsoninstagram #artistoninstagram #artoninstagram #brothers #malecharacter #comics #comic #animestyle #fashion #suit #clothes #clothing

“What are you working on?” Another page from Sigrid’s diary circa one year before they started dating.📔 (Last slide is a collection of images of references and inspiration) - Richard’s good looks and playful personality often puts a dent in people’s first impression of him as a brawny dumb man when in reality he enjoys tinkering with technology, reading newspapers in various languages, and meticulously planning out each personal encounter as his role of Death. Even Sigrid’s initial thoughts of Richard were annoyance in having to deal with someone who most likely can’t be serious and would be so behind the times based on his dated sense of fashion, owning a Volkswagen as old as she is, and love for Disco which was considered dead in the 1980s; seeing his more focused and academic side has piqued her curiosity and has her slowly replacing her feelings for her childhood crush Batty with admiration for Richard. #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #artistsoninstagram #artofinstagram #artoninstagram #originalart #originalcharacters #couple #malecharacter #femalecharacter #comics #comic #webcomic #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #80s #1980s #retro #animestyle #drawing #art #computer #books #notes #reference

#sketchdump featuring Sigrid’s younger half-brother Torben & their father Samuel. Torben physically takes after his mother (blond hair & brown eyes), but has a similar sweet demeanor like his older sibling. He’s extremely attached to Sigrid, making him protective towards his classmates at the boys academy (many of them have crushes on her). He personally didn’t like Sigrid’s childhood crush Batty due to his overall cold behavior - especially towards Sigrid and children in general. On the other hand, Torben was more than happy meeting Richard seeing how well he treats Sigrid and would return lost balls & toys back to the neighborhood kids; he also thinks Grim Reapers are more interesting than Warlocks because they not only can use teleportation spells but also weapons to fight monsters & collect lost souls. Samuel is Denmark’s strongest Warlock; he appears to be a man in his 50s, but is over 200 years old & extends his lifespan through life curses, placing him under Death’s watchlist. Being a proud man, he cursed Sigrid mainly because she wasn’t born a son or even an Enchantress, but also because his daughter was born with a mutation that gave her so much more “Magical Potential” than any European Warlock on record. Because he cursed their daughter, Aina changed her name and left with Sigrid to set up her flower & oddities shop. Samuel soon remarried to the Enchantress headmistress Sarah, having Torben a few years later; because Sarah still wanted a daughter, he tolerated her request to allow Sigrid to attend her academy until the life curse takes effect. Samuel is suspicious of Richard not collecting Sigrid’s soul as her assigned Grim Reaper, but also because he’s the talk of Europe since becoming the new heir of the Kasper bloodline and is Europe’s most powerful man in the occult community; he hopes that there’s no romance between Richard & Sigrid in fear that any child born would replace him (it’s the reason why Sigrid’s death was set before her 20th birthday - making her so young to have a relationship). #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #comic #originalcharacters #originalcharacter #drawing #drawings #frauv8_ocs #artistsoninstagram #characterart

Another page from Sigrid’s diary: Richard’s first debutante at the academy. - Sigrid was still bitter about being rejected by Batty on Valentine’s Day 2 months prior; she’s also slowly getting more used to Richard’s presence as her assigned Reaper observing the status of her soul (as well being occasional Handyman and Tatzelwurm exterminator at her mother’s flower shop). She was aware her mother wanted her to pair up with Richard, and knows he really liked her but kept his emotions to a minimum by giving her glances, compliments, and surprise gifts (only after spending the night together when he was lovesick they started becoming more affectionate with each other). Sigrid admits she finds Richard attractive and that he looks like a popular actor at the time, but didn’t like the fact that he’s a descendant of a family known for killing Witches in the distant past (as well as other historical atrocities such as bodysnatching and experimentation on humans), has a “Bad Boy” reputation as a Playboy, is so much older that he could pass by as a distant cousin or her guardian, and wears clothes from the past decade (he does slowly upgrade his wardrobe when they start dating). Over the months leading up to the official start of their romance, Sigrid grew to love his “goofy smile and feathered hair”, his terrible Danish with a German accent (he also speak perfect English with an American accent, another turn on for Sigrid), his scent (combination of sweat, formaldehyde, and CK Obsession cologne), and how his odd-colored eyes would gently blink as he placed his coat over her shoulders for warmth. She was also surprised how much he enjoys playing arcade games, watches American movies and TV, listens to (and sings) popular songs, and is really good with computers and other new tech in the 1980s - proving that he’s been a good match for her all along. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #frauv8_ocs #femalecharacter #couple #animestyle #comic #black #pink #purple #white #blue #yellow #brown #grey #gray #suit #tuxedo #gown #notes #1980s

“Hello there…” 🖤 (Reel / TikTok Version) [Original post had an issue, so I had to repost…] - Over time Sigrid grew accustomed to Richard’s weekly visits to her mother’s flower shop, becoming more curious about him rather than annoyed and aloof trying to avoid him. She learns about his interests in computers, arcades, comic books, and movies on top of medicine and scientific research, realizing how much they have in common despite their large age gap (versus her childhood crush Batty who’s always been interested in sports, athletics, war documentaries, and cars). The more Sigrid opens up, the more she falls in love with Richard and wants him to stay longer; Richard, on the other hand, had to suppress a large amount of his feelings to avoid trouble with Batty and Sigrid’s academy - leading to having Lovesickness. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #originalart #originalcharacterart #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #malecharacter #femalecharacter #frauv8_ocs #frauv8ocs #couple #animestyle #animestyleart #comic #manga #mangastyle #black #white #halftone #loveatfirstsight #love #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #mentalcanvas #mentalcanvasart

I’m still collecting references for my 6 Fan Arts, so here’s another sketch dump: * Richard & Heinrich Kasper. Heinrich is the older brother who’s cool, calm, and collected (especially if he has a cigarette in hand); Richard is the younger brother who’s hot-headed, impulsive, brazen, and at times can be obnoxious (he likes to tease and play pranks). Despite their differences, the two brothers enjoy each other’s company whenever they’re together at their hometown of Kiel. * Sigrid & Richard tending plants at the greenhouse. Whenever Richard stays overnight during a visit, it’s usually because Sigrid’s mother Aina needs extra help with certain tasks around the flower shop/ house (usually lifting up heavy objects, repairing anything broken, and getting rid of pests - especially Tatzelwürmer). Initially Sigrid was annoyed and couldn’t stand sharing anything of hers with anyone else; as their relationship slowly advanced from acquaintances into lovers, she allowed Richard into her room (sometimes leading into unexpected passionate nights together). * Sigrid with her younger half-brother Torben (her father’s son with the academy’s headmistress) and Heinrich’s children Hansel & Hannah. Sigrid always had a soft spot for younger children, so much so she dreamed of becoming a teacher & mother despite of her life curse; she was able to briefly enjoy being an aunt and becoming a mother, but never lived long enough to finish school to become a teacher (Johannes actually obtained a teaching degree in honor of his mother). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #children #animestyle #sketchdump #pink #blue #frauv8_ocs

Another #sketchdump : • Heinrich & Richard’s younger half-sister: Sabrina “Nina”Vandenberg. Sabrina was the result of their mother’s affair with an American soldier she eloped with after giving birth to a second son she didn’t want. Sabrina doesn’t mind her oldest half-brother Heinrich being everyone’s favorite child (she also adores him for his cool & collected demeanor), but like her mother and stepfather, she can’t stand being around Richard and constantly belittles him to show her dominance within the family (both siblings resemble their mother & have the same hot temper). She also doesn’t like Richard’s new girlfriend Sigrid - feeling mostly jealous of her youth, beauty, wit, & ability to cast complex spells (Sabrina is about 5-10 years older than Sigrid and never went to an academy to hone her magical skills). • Both Kasper Brothers have been extremely close since their mother abandoned the family for her lover & their youngest sibling, with Heinrich often protecting Richard from their father’s abuse. Despite their large age gap & opposite personalities, they are often seen together - playing Football when they were children, now sharing beers together as adults at the local pub. The two had a brief fallout when Heinrich broke off his betrothal and married the woman he loved - forcing Richard to step up and take over the role as the new heir; their relationship was repaired with the birth of Heinrich’s children (Richard would spoil them rotten, giving his brother & sister-in-law headaches from the trouble). Heinrich initially didn’t like his younger brother’s choice to date and eventually marry Sigrid, remarking Richard is “too old to be chasing after schoolgirls” and agreed with their father that “she’s better off dead” due to her life curse. However, as time passed, he grew to enjoy their discussions about plants and playing chess with her (he’d always get checkmated, realizing why his brother so attracted to her). — #originalcharactersart #originalcharacter #originalcharacters #malecharacter #femalecharacter #siblings #brothers #frauv8_ocs #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #characterart #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk
