No deadlines.💀 Just have fun drawing this Grim Reaper and his wife with lots of white butterflies flittering by. I’ll feature entries in posts/stories that come in over time (if anyone does it). - Tag to use: #dtiys_frauv8 @frauv8 @fryj_kspr @not_hrstrom — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #motionleap #pixaloop #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #man #woman #frauv8_ocs #frauv8 #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #black #white #halftone #blackandwhite #grimreaper #butterflies #hat #dress #glasses #manbun #skullmakeup #dtiys #dtiyschallenge

#happystpatricksday!🍀 - Wunderkind’s Notes on the #leprechaun. Most Leprechauns are harmless pranksters, often traveling far around the world to cause trouble, but occasionally there’s one so bad that he gets the attention of the Kaspers (Hr. Dr. Kasper with Freyja’s four cousins had to kill one up in Stockholm at the Ström estate after he smeared Unicorn poop on the walls, shattered windows, and broke sacred family rune stones). They bury their gold in Unicorn poop, which adds a little stink to the saying “A pot of gold can be found at the end of a rainbow.”🌈 — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #irishmythology #mythicalcreatures #green

Another bonus Sigrid’s Diary Entry: Odin’s death. - Richard normally hated cats, but after dealing with Sigrid’s neighbor’s cat Hedy and her stray cat boyfriend nicknamed Odin, he gradually got attached to them (cats have seven to nine lives and chase souls away, making it difficult for Grim Reapers to do their jobs). Odin and Hedy had three litters of kittens (10 babies altogether), their last litter born a few weeks after Odin’s death - which was a surprise when Hedy went missing for a long time (leading to the neighbor Mr. Vannderhassen accusing Sigrid’s mother Aina of killing his cat for witchcraft rituals; Hedy went into hiding deep in the greenhouse to give birth). Hedy is no longer alive, but one of her descendants (a male black cat with heterochromia) is currently owned by Aina and is named Lamar. — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #originalcharacter #frauv8_ocs #malecharacter #man #cats #kittens

Quick sketchy drawing of this feathered-haired guy from the late 1970s thru early 1980s. 💀 Richard Kasper had been admired, despised, and feared by those involved with the mythical and occult. Like his father “The Black Skull of Kiel”, Richard was efficient in his job reaping souls and killing monsters; as a Kasper, he had a taste for bloodlust and revenge if offended even in the slightest bit - making him the most feared Grim Reaper in Europe after Olaf. Richard was also quite the playboy prior to meeting Sigrid, enjoying the pleasure of loving women then shattering their hearts once he’s done with them (7 girlfriends, 4 one-nighters, and an ex-fiancée). But Richard was also known for his attempts to create treatments for patients and clients that often lacked potency, making people call him a “Quack” (why Erik Ström disliked him when treating his wife Sonja’s lung condition; Sonja, on the other hand, was grateful having a doctor willing to help her despite the odds). Everyone was shocked when Richard finally settled down, mainly because he married a teenage girl with a life curse that was due in a few years (Richard felt so much pity for Sigrid that he wanted to take care of her until her death, resulting the birth of their son Johannes Faustuz); but everyone was also quite shocked how quickly Richard deteriorated after his wife’s death, showing that he’s not the heartless heir of his father’s legacy. - Hr. Dr. Kasper knows he’s got a lot to live up to meet Richard’s accomplishments; he dislikes certain characteristics of his father (being a cruel playboy, conning certain clients due to their morals, marrying Sigrid who was nearly half his age, etc.), and absolutely hates it when people (especially his father-in-law Erik Ström) tell him how much he resembles Richard. — #malecharacter #originalcharacter #man #soul #glasses #furcoat #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #blue #brown #black #white #blonde #blond

Even I don’t know what you’re wearing, CK... Sorry.😶 But it was really fun drawing and coloring it all (it’s pretty obvious that I enjoy drawing clothing). - It’s like all kinds of random vomited on him with a dash of his fantasy version (he also wears a white naval-inspired jacket). Cedrick got “programming socks”, a Takashi Muakami daisy cross-body bag that resembles what I call “the color wheel of death” (which is appropriate for a junior Grim Reaper to wear), a skeleton tank under a purple striped cropped shirt, biker shorts, combat boots, and a terrible mess of a vintage naval uniform and USA jacket he stitched up together (he takes after Freyja when it comes to crafting). — #malecharacter #characterdesign #originalcharacter #boy #frauv8_ocs #fashion #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #animestyle

The Kasper Brothers: Richard and his older brother Heinrich. Both had Heterochromia - except Heinrich was shorter with a slightly darker complexion, slicked dirty-blond hair, and chain-smoked; Richard was taller, slightly slimmer, and had feathered platinum blond hair. - Richard had always been in the shadow of his older brother all his life - Heinrich was the favorite child being more quiet, responsible, and well-tempered, while Richard was hot-headed, vocal, and adventurous. Their father Olaf considered Richard an extra mouth to feed since he already had “the perfect child”, and their mother Ida was disappointed having another son when she really wanted a daughter; Richard was sent off to South Africa to live with Ida’s parents when he was an infant until he was old enough to attend school so more attention could be spent on Heinrich. Despite their five-year gap and opposing personalities, the two brothers were inseparable in everything they did together at home, more so when Ida suddenly abandoned the family for a younger American lover. - It was expected that Heinrich step up and become the next Grim Reaper after Olaf, but after traveling abroad to Japan and marrying a foreign woman, then having a son who didn’t inherit “Odin’s Eye”, Heinrich gave up his role as the heir. The family legacy fell onto Richard when he was a teenager, creating a wedge between the brothers and added pressure on Richard to act like the heir of the family. Because of this sudden change, Richard became quite the playboy to rebel against the proper behavior expected from him, adding more to the rift between his brother and especially their father. - Since Death’s assignment to Copenhagen, Richard had become more focused on his career as a traveling doctor, his duty as a Grim Reaper, and being a loyal partner to Sigrid while Heinrich remains at Kiel with father Olaf, wife Yoko, and two children to keep the family estate in order. — #autodesksketchbook #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #malecharacter #man #men #brothers #originalcharacters #frauv8_ocs

Still have Artist’s Block... Still in a gloomy mood... Still awaiting the results of the poll results to decide the next fan art... —— Hr. Dr. Kasper in Grim Reaper attire, showing off his “Odin’s Eye” with a simple blinking animation. 💀 Male Kaspers who have blue eyes and a range from platinum blonde to light brown hair gets “Odin’s Eye”, the ability to see what’s unseen (spirits, souls, monsters, mythical creatures, lifespans, health conditions, Death himself, etc.). Normally it looks like heterochromia, the affected right eye is green but glows yellow when in use and detects a monster or soul nearby; having this ability affects regular vision and drains a lot of energy, requiring the use of glasses and having a high metabolism. The Kasper family’s story of how it came to exist is when a Danish Viking boy named Ulrich Kasper drank from the well where Odin threw in his eyeball to gain the knowledge of the world. Despite the Kaspers being shunned by other occult families due to their tainted history and being Death’s favorite Grim Reapers, their “Odin’s Eye” ability is often sought after to track down rogue creatures, capture souls, repeal curses, and cure illnesses. — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #animation #blink #wink #malecharacter #originalcharacter #frauv8_ocs #grimreaper #skull #skullmask #blackandwhite #glasses #heterochromia

Still in a sketchy mood... Drawing a black cat making me think of witches... Random sketch dump with Richard, Sigrid, and the stray neighborhood tomcat nicknamed Odin after “Odin’s Eye”, the Kaspers’ heterochromia ability to see spirits and monsters. - Odin is a white tomcat with odd-eyes who’d constantly meow and yowl late at night to attract the ladies. Lately he hasn’t been roaming around as much due to his age, and has been staying over at Aina’s backyard where Hedy enjoys sleeping in the greenhouse; the two cats had been inseparable until Odin’s death a year later, resulting in three litters of kittens. Like Hedy, Odin was very affectionate - especially towards Sigrid. Richard doesn’t like cats (Grim Reapers hate cats for their 9 lives and chasing away dead souls that need capturing), but has a soft spot for Odin due to their many similarities and the fact Odin’s on his last life out of nine. — #autodesksketchbook #digitaldrawing #digitalart #malecharacter #femalecharacter #frauv8_ocs #originalcharacters #man #girl #cat #oddeyedcat #whitecat #sketchdump

Grim Reaper Cedrick Kasper and Frl. Flicka the Hellhound with souls floating around. - I’m still stuck in a morbid colorless rut, but I really like drawing in black and white... Some random Richard and Hedy scribblings... 🐈‍⬛ Richard had taken one of Hedy’s nine lives when he mistaken her for a Tatzelwurm in Aina’s greenhouse. Hedy took an instant liking to him despite what he had done and the fact Richard isn’t much of a cat-person - especially being a Grim Reaper and cats being known for the association with life and death. Richard also doesn’t like dealing with Sigrid’s neighbor/teacher Mr. Vannderhassen for numerous reasons, including the fact Hedy keeps running away and staying in the greenhouse or garden; regardless of the trouble, Richard does care about Hedy even though he calls her a pest. — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #man #cat #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #frauv8_ocs #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart

Bonus Sigrid’s Diary Entry 📔 “Hedy the Black Cat” - Hedy was Sigrid’s teacher/neighbor’s pet cat that constantly ran away from home and slept in Aina’s greenhouse. She was named after the famous inventive actress due to her cleverness and striking glance; Hedy was also very affectionate towards Sigrid, Aina, and Richard despite his dislike for cats. (Kaspers are Grim Reapers and are usually accompanied with Hellhounds, making them “dog-people”; cats are known to have multiple lives and ward off spirits and souls that Grim Reapers need to collect, making it difficult to do Death’s work; there’s also many creatures that resemble cats that often go rogue, like Tatzelwurms) - Mr. Vannderhassen often accused Aina of stealing his cat, once saying she had killed it for witchcraft when she didn’t return home (turns out Hedy was fooling around with the neighborhood Tom cat and gave birth to a large litter of kittens in the greenhouse). Mr. Vannderhassen wasn’t the kindest of neighbors nor the most moral, resulting in his death. Hedy ended up staying with Aina until her death twenty years later; Aina currently owns a descendant of Hedy - another black cat she named Lamar. — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #malecharacter #femalecharacter #cat #man #girl #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #yellow #frauv8_ocs

Quick drawing of Grim Reaper father, son, and dog: Hr. Dr. Kasper, Cedrick, and Frl. Flicka the Hellhound who’s normally in the guise of a Doberman. - I’m still stuck in a art rut, not feeling refreshed or inspired. •Bonus Sigrid’s Diary Entry: Richard after getting rid of Tatzelwurms while Sigrid is in charge of the flower shop. - Richard is able to kill Tatzelwurms with his bare hands, but always ends up with cuts, bruises, and bites all over while leaving blood all over the place. Luckily Aina has a large supply of healing potions and ointments for Sigrid to use just in case (Sigrid had also been attacked by bullies since she was little, so Aina made sure she always had some). - At this point of time Richard and Sigrid aren’t officially a couple yet, but getting along well enough that Sigrid can tolerate his presence and hugs him good-bye (she’s still wary of the fact he’s a grim reaper, but does secretly like him). Richard, on the other hand, is beyond in love with her to the point lovesickness is slowly creeping in - but also cautious about showing his affection for her due to social norms (he’s estimated to be in his mid-20s thru mid-30s while Sigrid’s just a teenager). Also, having his wounds treated is torture not just from the pain but Sigrid being so close to him. — #autodesksketchbook #malecharacter #femalecharacter #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #frauv8_ocs #couple #comic #digitaldrawing #blackandwhite #white #grey #gray #kitchen #mangastyle
