Klimt loves meowing as loud as he can until his master of choice wakes up and pours him a bowl of kibble. - Like all teenagers, Cedrick hates waking up early. He left his headphones on hoping he wouldn’t be able to hear his cat, but with a dead battery, it’s no use. Out sleeping with the dogs... What did Papa Kasper say or do to be out in the Doghouse this time? - The Doghouse is a part of the patio attached to the house that extends towards the backyard where Freyja grows her garden. Since it’s partially indoors, it’s where the family keeps their dogs (mainly Freud) our of trouble and bad weather; it’s also where the dogs usually sleep for the night if they misbehave. Likewise, it’s also where Johannes Faustuz goes to sleep on a makeshift bed whenever he comes home late or if he and Freyja aren’t getting along due to various circumstances; he doesn’t like sleeping apart from his wife, but the dogs absolutely love it when their pack leader is with them. - It’s a simple color scheme and lighting/color study pic this time. The Kaspers’ pets (not including the office aquarium fish, several test tubes of mutant fruit flies, a pink fairy, a pair of Wolpertingers, Hyōsube, and whatever creature that decides to stay with them indefinitely). Normally it’s Cedrick’s job to take care of the animals, but occasionally Papa Kasper steps up to wrangle up the pets - especially when it’s time to visit the Vet since Cedrick can’t drive yet, and Freyja is often away from home. - Each pet has a distinctive personality: •Freud the Dachshund is very snappy, often running off to dig up holes in the backyard; occasionally he wants cuddles and kisses, especially when he’s being punished for his behavior, and sticks around whenever someone is feeling sick or depressed. •Klimt the Norwegian Forest Cat isn’t a very smart cat - he’s was born the runt of the litter, always a bit slow and clumsy; he likes chirping like a bird and climbing up trees to the point either Cedrick or Faustuz has to climb up after him since he doesn’t know how to climb back down; Klimt also likes waking up his masters so he gets fed, swishing his fluffy tail in their faces while they eat breakfast before work. •Frl. If it’s not Cedrick following after his father around at work, it’s most likely Kimiko instead. And there’s something odd about the Herr Doktor’s attire... (2nd slide shows what he usually wears whenever he wears scrubs) - Kimiko expected to be assigned with someone from Japan like she was, but instead got a towering Scandinavian reciting a haiku back to her in perfect Japanese (it’s actually Hr. Dr. Kasper’s second language after German, followed by English, then bits and pieces of Danish; raised by Tante Yoko, he spoke Japanese with his cousins growing up). Kimiko is slowly getting used to her coworkers and new environment in Los Angeles, but still sticks closely around her mentor - which does occasionally annoys Cedrick since he doesn’t like other people around him when he’s with his father. Johannes Faustuz doesn’t mind Kimiko’s klutziness when it comes to social etiquette, but does get concerned when she has difficulty performing basic tasks and becomes skittish around patients. Kimiko Abe this time in cute pastel colors. - Originally from Yokohama, Kimiko is a sweet, polite, but klutzy nursing student who has a hard time getting past her timidity around people at the hospital; it also doesn’t help being very petite, making her easily lost in a crowd (she’s only 152cm / 5’ tall). Kimiko still struggles with some English and adjusting to her new work environment, so she was paired up with someone fluent with Japanese - and to her shock, he’s not Japanese. Tante Yoko Kobayashi and Onkel Heinrich Kasper on their wedding day. ⛪️ These two met at a business meeting where Yoko was her father’s assistant and Heinrich was a businessman assigned to Hiroshima to setup a deal; though initially Yoko was at first cautious of Heinrich’s advances, they fell completely head-over-heels for each other and were married in months. Not long moving back to Kiel where Heinrich was from, Hansel was born, followed by Hannah two years later. - Despite their happy life together, Heinrich and Yoko maintained a strained relationship with the family’s patriarch Olaf who didn’t like the fact his son married a Japanese woman and had children who didn’t inherit the family’s heterochromia abilities. Times got harder when Heinrich’s younger brother Richard with his wife Sigrid suddenly died, leaving behind their infant son Johannes Faustuz in their care. Yoko didn’t want another child and insisted that he be raised by Olaf, but Heinrich retorted back that if he was raised by his father, he would be raised to become cruel and intolerant as he was. - Life continues for ten years before Heinrich becomes ill and dies from lung cancer, leaving Yoko inconsolable; her son Hansel had left for university, and her daughter Hannah ran away with her boyfriend, forcing her to re-examine her relationship with her nephew Faustuz. Ugh... It’s so hard to finish something when my weekend was busy and I’m currently suffering from fever and nausea 🤢 (I’m really questioning my choice of eating leftover noodles for lunch earlier today; yesterday I also suffered from eating food that contained some dairy in it, so that’s two days in a row I damaged my digestive system). - Anyway, this time I did a #redraw of an old pic from early 2018. It’s Awards Season!🏆 I wasn’t able to watch the Grammys on TV after work, but I kept track via Twitter and other online news (yesterday’s big news made me sick to the stomach: RIP🟣🟡2️⃣4️⃣8️⃣; there goes another piece of my childhood😔). I absolutely enjoy seeing pics of the dresses (and occasional suits) the celebs wear in these events because they can be stunningly beautiful or completely so outrageous that you can’t look away. - So for fun, I doodled this. Freyja enjoys the spotlight and showing off whenever she has a chance (she is a TV Host/Supermodel/Magazine Editor). I opted for the sketchy-look for Queenie Williams like the last pic I made.✏️ - She’s having a tea party with her teddy bear Mr. Bellybutton Fluff and Cedrick’s handmade Baby Yoda plushie using items found in the Kaspers’ office. Queenie often sneaks in there while her father Tyrone Williams is too busy to keep track of her; Cedrick doesn’t like it when she’s there snacking on his mini sandwiches and juice boxes, but Johannes Faustuz prefers she stays put and not wander around the hospital causing more trouble - like dumping the jarred Meerjungfrau into his aquarium.
