Lately at work there’s been so many migrating butterflies, so I couldn’t help being giddy with joy seeing them. And it happens to be that one of my all-time favorite foreign words to say is “Schmetterling” (“Yume” and “Pamplemousse” are two more favorites).

I end up completing it digitally on my iPad Pro with #autodesksketchbook instead of using actual ink. I wouldn’t be able to get any #halftone if I had done it traditionally.

He looks so much better now compared to what he looked like back in 2005 (he was a bit emo/glam rock back then), and making his hair all one length really cleans everything up (his fantasy version still has asymmetrical hair).

So what’s in her infamous meal besides giant squid tentacles? Freyja often adds in frozen TV dinners, bratwurst, mashed cauliflower, lingonberry jam, and all kinds of questionable food items. Rarely it tastes good, but 99% of the time it’ll lead to upset stomach and vomiting.

First thing I saw on the news was #karllargerfeld had died, and it’s stuck on me the whole day. At first the name didn’t hit me until I saw his photo; I always thought of him as like a male version of Edna Mode from the “Incredibles” (wouldn’t surprise me if he was an inspiration; Anna Wintour was definitely an inspiration for Edna). And yes, my character Johannes Faustuz has long platinum hair partly because of Largerfeld (the other reason was Cedric from W.I.T.C.H.). So that’s why I have Freyja wearing a #fendi-inspired dress and Faustuz dressed like the late Largerfeld with a Japanese paper fan in hand.

**Artist Notes**
•Yellow can be a difficult color to work with since it’s so bright and often clashes with white, but it can be managed if you add in darker colors such as grey and black (brown, green, and purple are also great darker colors to pair with yellow).
•Mixing water-based ink with alcohol-based ink can be a bit tricky since the alcohol ink makes the water ink bleed into it - but that’s okay if it’s minimal because you can use a white gel pen to touch it up.

I could of added a background, but my last attempt making one wasn’t the best, so I’m keeping it plain and simple.

I finally did a #drawthisinyourstylechallenge, but one that’s not super popular like the girl with the oranges or the pink-haired girl in the Polaroid frame (I’m sure you know what I’m referring to if you’re keeping track of these challenges, lol). This is my take on @limustrator’s #limeredraw, and it’s done in a completely experimental version of my style.
