Yesterday’s #workdrawing I finished at home. — #handdrawn #ink #inkart #inkartwork #inkdrawing #blackink #coloredink #penart #pendrawing #oolypen #pilotpen #frixionpen #markerart #markerartwork #tombowdualbrushpens #highlighterart #zebramildliner #sketchbook #dottednotebook #leuchtturn1917 #lechtturm1917 #originalcharacter #malecharacter #glasses #blond #longhair #flowers

Today’s #worksketch with some of my old #handwriting from months ago (I still mainly write in #cursive ). I’ll most likely make this into a digital drawing eventually since it’s a bit of a messy #pensketch . The #sketch doesn’t quite match what’s actually written in my rough script, but I guess it works? It just makes an interesting pic with a #roughsketch with #scribbling that matches it visually. - It’s the Fantasy Concept with a younger Freyja and Faustuz together. It could be fun to make the written section into a comic. Maybe... — #originalcharacters #couple #femalemalecharacters #mage #fantasy #pendrawing #penartwork #ink #inkart #inkartwork #inkdrawing #pilotpen #frixon #frixionpen #erasablepen #sketchbook #moleskine #moleskinecahier

Still playing around with the #frixioncolors #markers ; they’re more fun to erase than to color in, lol. Also not completely in love with the #colorscheme used, but it’s different from using blue. - It’s a different character this time: my French #originalcharacter Vincent-Claude with his hair untied. And yes, #smoking is bad, but that’s part of his character; he’s very carefree and often disregards rules if he thinks he can get away with it, which often puts him at odds with his father and both Kaspers. - And I just realized his shirt looks like a piece of salmon. 🤣 — #pilotpen #frixon #frixonpen #frixionball #erasablepens #inkart #inkdrawing #penart #penartwork #pendrawing #moleskine #moleskinecahier #sketchbook #malecharacter #blackhair #black #purple #orange

Yesterday’s #workdrawing . Seriously - I’ve been drawing my #originalcharacters with #coffee lately. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I guess I can call it the “Coffee Cahier”, lol. But I’m sure it’s just a phase since I’ve been caffeine deprived the past several days. — #pendrawing #penart #penartwork #inkdrawing #inkart #blueink #blue #cyan #bluecyan #cyanblue #pilotpen #frixon #frixonpen #frixionball #frixioncolors #erasablepens #sketchbook #moleskine #moleskinecahier #originalcharacter #malecharacter #glasses #flowers #daisies #cupofcoffee

This #pendrawing is more #cyan than #blue in reality. It’s another #drawing done in my #moleskinecahier ; I started it at work but finished it at home as I relax from a long day of work. As usual, it’s #handdrawn with a #frixon #pen. - Freyja often likes wearing her husband’s #glasses for fun as a fashion accessory. But poor Johannes Faustuz needs them to see properly, so he risks walking into things without them. — # penart #inkart #inkdrawing #blueink #cyanink #pilotpen #frixionpen #frixionball #erasablepens #moleskine #sketchbook #originalcharacters #originalcharacterdrawing #comics #comic #couple

Another #workdrawing done in my #moleskinecahier with #frixioncolors #marker and #frixionball #pen . Still iffy on the markers, but it has an interesting chalky faded effect coloring with them. So I guess I could say they’re slowly growing on me - just depends on how I use them. - Lately I’ve been drawing my characters with a #cupofcoffee . Perhaps it’s an indication of my current state of lacking the magical substance at work, lol. — #pilotpen #frixion #pendrawing #penart #penartwork #inkart #inkdrawing #blackink #erasable #erasablepen #erasablemarker #moleskine #sketchbook #originalcharacter #malecharacter #drinkingcoffee #drinkingcupofcoffee

#nationallazyday today. I wish I could be lazy today, but I has work~ - Another #workdrawing in my mini #leuchtturm1917 #sketchbook with a #grey #frixionball #frixionstick, a #gudetama #frixion #pen , and one of many #black #ooly #pens . - It’s a young Johannes Faustuz Kasper feeling a bit #tired and #lazy after a long day #studying . — #pendrawing #penart #inkdrawing #inkart #blackink #dottedpaper #originalcharacter #originalcharacterdrawing #originalcharacterart #originalcharacterartwork #malecharacter #boy #glasses #books

Today’s #workdrawing done on a #moleskinecahier this time since it’s bigger than my #leuchtturn1917 . Not very fond of the paper quality or weight compared to my #minisketchbook, but making pen strokes on it seems nice and smooth. As usual, I’ve used #frixon #erasablepens , and I can’t stop saying how much I really love using them. The only downside is that they do run out of #ink fast, so ordering lots of them and refills are inevitable. I also tested out my new pack of #zebra #midliner #highlighter #pens . They’re not bad for what they are, and I seem to like them more than the frixion color markers. - I drew Cedrick wearing his concept clothing from 2016. His attire reminds me of Bill Nye the Science Guy and Beakman’s World (I’m really dating myself here, lol). — #pilotpen #frixonpens #gellyroll #whitegelpen #inkdrawing #inkart #penart #penartwork #pendrawing #highlighterart #moleskine #originalcharacter #malecharacter #blond #green

So I heard it’s #internationalcatday today. 🐈 - I haven’t shared these cute #doodles of Klimt, the Kaspers’ big fluffy orange #norwegiancat . — #sketchpad #cat #originalcharacters #originalcharactersketch #animalsketch #pensketch #pendrawing #inkdrawing #frixion #pilotpen

Digital version of an earlier drawing in my sketchbook. - I’d love to have a room like this - #scandinaviandesign is so clean and simple. The Kasper’s home isn’t quite #hygge , but definitely more of the current #lagom trend. Makes sense - Freyja is Swedish while Johannes Faustuz is German-Danish. Mama Kasper rules the house. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #sketchbookapp #originalcharacter #originalcharacterdrawing #malecharacter #glasses #manbun #reading #ipad #drinkingcoffee #livingroom

Another #digitalsketch I had in my #scraps . - Fantasy Concept: A younger Freyja attacked by a zombie. The silver blade was stolen off her ax by thieves, leaving her with a fancy useless stick; Faustuz will come to her rescue with a fire spell, only to start snacking on some BBQ zombie flesh afterwards. — #digitaldrawing #originalcharacter #femalecharacter #zombie #zombieattack #fantasy #fantasyart

A quick #digitalsketch I haven’t posted out yet - a cute pic of Freyja and Johannes Faustuz at the beach when they were kids. It’s #friendshipday too, so give your besties a nice hug if you see them. 👐🏻 — #digitalart #originalcharacters #children #hug #boygirl #girlboy #girl #boy #childhood #childhoodsweethearts #swimsuits

Today’s #workdrawing / #worksketch . Got some #frixioncolors #markers before work; just not very vibrant considering that they’re #erasable (haven’t tested their erasability yet). - As hot as it has been here in California, I’d love an ice cold #bobatea #drink . Just haven’t seen a place in Del Mar that has them - it’s just been mainly coffee, juice, and regular tea. The mall in Temecula has them and they’re pretty good, but the best place I’ve had boba drinks are at Arcadia. — #minisketchbook #sketchbook #leuchtturm1917 #leuchtturn1917 #dottedpaper #pendrawing #pensketch #penart #markerart #inkdrawing #handdrawn #pilotpen #frixonpen #originalcharacter #femalecharacter #sunglasses #messybun

Today’s #workdrawing / #worksketch I made earlier. Tricia, Cedrick, and Carmen. And it looks like the 1990s with their clothing like that, but lately fashion has regurgitated the 90s and early 00s (which I hated wearing as a kid growing up). - There is another teenager character I haven’t drawn yet - Rufus’ younger cousin Colleen McClaine. She’s 13, and like Rufus and Freyja, she’s a redhead. She’s a bit young for the group here (Tricia: 17-18, Cedrick: 15-16, Carmen: 16-17), but she’ll have her debut soon enough as school starts again for the kiddos since she’ll be a freshman (except for Cedrick - he’s a wunderkind and occasionally tutors when he’s not busy at the hospital). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #sketchbookapp #originalcharacters #teenagers #trio #twogirlsoneguy #friends #pink

| Faustuz: “Why are you looking at me like that?” - Fantasy Concept again - around the time when Freyja ran away from an arranged marriage, taking her slave boy Faustuz with her. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #sketchbookapp #originalcharacters #originalcharacterdrawing #malefemale #couple #fantasy

Just a weird random thought came to mind - Cedrick Kasper has been one of my original characters since about 2006, so what if I drew him the age he’d be right now? His original age was 21 when I first created him, so add on the years from there. Makes sense he’d look like how I draw his father right now - Johannes Faustuz in my current reboot is 40, which isn’t much older than 33. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadprodrawing #sketchbookapp #originalcharacter #malecharacter #drinkingcoffee #glasses #blond
