Freyja and Frl. Flicka; her husband Johannes Faustuz and other dog Freud in the end. (Swipe right to see➡️) - “Flicka” is “Girl” in Freyja’s native Swedish, and she’s definitely Freyja’s girl. Faustuz and Cedrick refer to her as “Fräulein” as form of endearment - hence her full name Frl. Flicka “Miss Girl.” - Freyja adopted Frl. Flicka after attending a charity for military veterans; she was told that the dog was injured in combat and had trouble with finding a forever-home due to her aggressive behavior. Frl. Flicka immediately warmed up to Freyja and has always been super sweet around her and fellow creatures at the Kasper household. On Halloween, her true Hellhound form will be revealed; afterwards she’ll be back to being a normal dog until next Halloween. - Originally Cedrick was supposed to have his hair slicked back like his grandfather Erik Ström, but after adding on a beanie, he looks way better and proportionate with his bowlcut down (2nd slide has original idea). Cedrick is still technically a kid at age 15 so he’s not too old for juice boxes, lol. (I still drink out of juice and milk boxes myself, and I’m not a kid) The juice boxes are also because he’s not allowed to drink alcohol during social gatherings (legal drinking age where the Kaspers work is 21; back in their home country it’s 16). - And looking at his juice box makes me feel uneasy because it’s all citrus juice, which is very acidic despite being tasty. So he ended up owning pet bugs and reptiles (sometimes poisonous ones) throughout his childhood despite his parents’ dislike of them. Not really, lol.) - #inktober is a big challenge, and this year I’m not feeling like doing 31 of these kind of pics. Obviously I’m skilled enough and capable of finishing a piece in a day, but to make a really good piece, it takes the whole day - if not more than a day (I spent maybe 12 hours total on this guy). This was also done on a large 10.5”x15” piece of paper (approximately 27x38cm), so I don’t think having another 30 of these lying around in my apartment is very practical (that’s why I’ve enjoy doing stuff digitally or in sketchbooks). Happy #nationalcoffeeday! Why on September 29th? No real reason - just an excuse to celebrate the dark liquid elixir that fuels human sanity and functionality. ☕️ And some people really take coffee seriously - like this guy. Both Hr. Dr. Kaspers are lactose intolerant, but each one likes their coffee differently: Johannes Faustuz like his coffee black with a maximum of two spoonfuls of sugar - no more, no less. Cedrick likes his coffee sweet with milk alternatives such as soy, oat, and almond milk. Like both Kaspers, I’m also lactose intolerant; I like my coffee iced either black with lots of simple syrup or get the flavored lattes with soy instead of whole milk (otherwise I just get iced tea/juice blends with boba). - So how do you like your coffee? There’s all kinds of stuff in there - let me know what’s your favorite item in their kitchen. - Poor Cedrick just wanted a Ruben sandwich and a juice box, but unbeknownst to him, his mother Freyja had stashed a fresh Kraken in the fridge for tomorrow night’s dinner. Included in this pic are the Hyōsube they adopted from their last trip to Kiel, their orange Norwegian Forest Cat Klimt, and the mischievous Pink Fairy - all featured in previous pics I’ve drawn over the past couple of months (if not years). - I thought about having the tentacles animated, but after spending so much time drawing and coloring this, I opted to just add text and lines for actions like a comic with a few touches from #pixaloop in the second slide. - Which room will be next?
