I also included the line art for coloring; tag #colorthis_fv8 @frauv8 so I can see your work. — Cedrick is taking a selfie with Tricia in front of a Hello Kitty Cafe van. Tricia doesn’t want to admit that she’s just as happy to see an adorable pink delivery van decorated with baked goods only because she’s with someone she thinks is a dork. - Tricia and Cedrick hang out together usually during tutoring sessions since she just started university while he’s a Wunderkind; she’s not doing particularly well with taking tests so he offered to help her study better. Cedrick is 15 while Tricia is 18, so neither one thinks of the other as a romantic interest but rather as distant acquaintances despite Tyrone’s wishes for his niece to like Cedrick. ————— A couple years ago, Arcadia had a Hello Kitty Cafe. I was obsessed with their rose iced tea and mini cakes. But for whatever reason, it’s gone and hasn’t come back. I had seen the van once driving around, but now (the last time I’ve checked) the closest Hello Kitty Cafe is in Irvine. Never been there, but it’s a “grand” cafe, meaning it has more specialty items available. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #lineart #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #frauv8 #frauv8_ocs #pink #hellokittytruckcafe #selfie #teenagers #boy #girl

Looks like Freyja is relaxing in the bath staring off to the distance, or she has her eyes on something else... (2nd slide is an older pic from October 2019; adding a bit of color and adding it with this pic makes sense since it’s the same master bathroom) Originally I wanted bubbles floating around, but none of the effects available looked right. Steam was the better option, and ties the two pics together. - I’m seriously obsessed with 2020’s #pantoneclassicblue. I won’t be surprised if I keep using it for the whole year because it’s just an amazing yet basic color that goes with everything. —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #lineart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #blue #bath #shower #mangastyle #animestyle #pixaloop #frauv8_ocs

Happy New Year! 🎆 I’ve been really busy with work, but now with one day off, I managed to draw my main OCs in a cutesy style. - Freyja’s hair color and style here matches more with her original design from 2005, but I overall prefer her with redder hair shown in her current design. Johannes Faustuz is by far my most consistent character based on looks, and Cedrick has become more younger, shorter, and “adorkable” considering the fact that he’s supposed to be about fifteen. - The second slide is a pic of them from early 2018 when I started being more active in Instagram; it’s a realistic style I’m not too fond of, and looking back at it now, the colors are nice but very flat. Also, no cute pets - I love including their pets when I can. - Comment below to let me know what style you like more.🤗 —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #characterdesign #character_design #characters #malecharacters #femalecharacter #family #mother #son #father #doctor #pets #cat #dogs

Last pic of 2019 for me: Cedrick’s first New Year’s Day. - Cedrick was born in October, so his parents were quite busy on New Year’s Day the year before; now three-month-old, Cedrick is very curious of the fireworks outside while Johannes Faustuz is barely able to stay up to welcome the new year. — I’m going to do my best to stay up for 2020 since it’s only once every thousand-ten years (until 9090) we get a double number year, and it’s the start of a new decade. But sleeping like Papa Kasper here is ideal since work starts early in the morning...😣 —— #digitaldrawing #digitalart #drawing #ipaddrawing #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacters #man #baby #father #son #fatherandson #newyear #fireworks #blue #mangastyle #animestyle #pixaloop #frauv8_ocs

Hopefully all the bad stuff will be hindsight.🤓 - It’s another animated #pixaloop pic with a young Freyja and Johannes Faustuz (most likely nine months before Cedrick was born, lol). I’ve been cramming in drawing after drawing all day~😫 Then again, I’m going to be back at work tomorrow, so I’ll have less time for art. - And I drew these lovebirds again...🤦🏻‍♀️ Ever since I was 17, I can’t stop drawing them - they’re just too cute together! I probably should make this a #dtiyschallenge and #colorthisinyourstyle pic (last slide for original sketch). Tag #dtiys_frauv8 or #colorthis_fv8 based on which challenge you want to do. - This time it’s a softer, realistic style with a neutral color scheme. I just love how Freyja’s freckles turned out here (I have a thing for freckles); as for Hr. Dr. Kasper, he has his usual odd-eyes and 😐 face (Johannes Faustuz is not a smiley person - unless he had a perfect cup of coffee, is reading his wife’s magazine, his son did something amazing, or he’s just playing around and being sarcastic). Their faces are zoomed in for a closer look at the details. —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #digitalsketch #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #originalcharacters #characterart #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #blue #frauv8_ocs

A quick pic of Johannes Faustuz and Freyja at age 10-11. It’s quite a bit early for Valentine’s Day, but it’s never off-season to show off some love. — Freyja and Faustuz have known each other for about thirty years, but like any couple, they have lots of rough times - whether it’s being separated because of work (he’s an oncologist, she’s involved with media), language barriers (Faustuz barely spoke English while Freyja only knew Swedish and English when they first met; Faustuz knew some Danish from his great-grandmother, which is similar to Swedish, but it was still difficult to understand each other for a long time without a German/English translation book; as adults they speak English but will switch to German to keep some conversations private), social class (she’s rich, he’s low-middle class), and their families not liking each other (the Ströms are very proud of their royal Viking heritage and making weapons; the Kaspers are shunned for their involvement with things like the Black Plague, witch-hunting, bodysnatching, and WW2). But with constant attention and compromises, Freyja and Faustuz have been happily married for over twenty years (they won’t reveal when exactly they got married; all that’s known is that they were young when they were married). —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #pixaloop #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #lineart #animestyle #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #boy #femalecharacter #girl #children #couple #inlove #frauv8_ocs

We all know what the current cutest thing is right now - it’s freaking #babyyoda! - Cedrick is one very crafty kid. Training to be a surgeon and being descended from Viking blacksmiths, he’s very skillful with his hands. He’s creative like his mother’s side, able to come up with crazy designs for random stuff like plushies; but like his father’s side, he’s practical in using whatever he has available at the moment, often using old clothes and cheap supplies like cotton balls (it’s Cedrick’s craftiness with unconventional items that inspired the idea of Freyja’s TV show “FLASH FASHION”). - Looking at the supplies shown, the left-handed shears a big deal for the Kaspers since both Cedrick and his mother Freyja are officially left-handed; Johannes Faustuz appears to be right-handed, but he’s been caught left-handed with things such as eating, drinking, using technology, and other small tasks (it’s suspected he was forced to be right-handed due to his aunt’s strict upbringing and grandfather’s superstitious beliefs). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #comic #animestyle #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #malecharacter #youngman #teenageboy #babyyodaplush #frauv8_ocs

Happy Christmas Day!🎄 And I’m ( 12 x 3 ) - 4. (“Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally” if you want to solve how old I am) - This is a quick pic based on an idea for a Pixaloop animation I had in mind, so making it now would be a bit late (I technically have until 6-7 January since some people celebrate Christmas then, and there’s “Christmas in July” too). - So it might be a while before I’ll have time to draw something again since I’ll be back at work, and I’ll be planning out stuff more focused on Mama Kasper and other OCs I haven’t shown much yet; Papa Kasper, Cedrick, the Williamses, and others will still be around, just that I need to try something different for a while since it’s a new year and Mama is as interesting as her boys are - maybe a bit more since she’s a boss lady while her husband does more mundane work as a doctor (Cedrick still has time to decide which side of the family he’ll take after, but it’s quite obvious he likes his father’s work more; the Ström family focuses more on crafting and selling stuff while the Kaspers do research, repair, and removal of things). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #digitalsketch #autodesksketchbook #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #animestyle #originalcharacter #characterart #malecharacter #boy #christmas #christmastree #frauv8_ocs

Caught reading his wife’s magazine - with a smile! - Hr. Dr. Kasper religiously reads Freyja’s magazines to show his support for his wife, despite his coworkers making fun of him for reading fashion magazines (they’re clueless that Freyja is his wife); Cedrick, on the other hand, gets embarrassed when his mother is on the cover and random people talk about her latest episode on TV. But both guys will equally get pissed whenever someone talks badly about her or doing inappropriate things to her. — This was a bit tricky to make; it works best using the same images with parts copied, erased, and redrawn. It’d be a lot of work to make a fully inked and colored version with background, but not impossible... —— #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #digitalsketch #autodesksketchbook #animestyle #animation #originalcharacter #characterart #malecharacter #man #frauv8_ocs
