Papa Ström and Papa Kasper. - They never quite see each other eye to eye - figuratively and literally (maybe when Johannes Faustuz was Cedrick’s age he was the same height as Erik). Erik always thought of the Herr Doktor as weak, scrawny, and a pushover; Faustuz thinks of his father-in-law as insensitive, stubborn, and a bully. Despite their disagreements, they both love Freyja and Cedrick very much - sometimes to the point they’ll fight each other for their family’s affection. The one thing Erik will admit about Faustuz is that he’s an honorable man of his word and hard worker; likewise, Faustuz respects his father-in-law being more experienced with life in general. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #characters #originalcharacters #malecharacters #men #charactersheet #characterdesign #characterstudy #frauv8_ocs

And “backup” is a very grumpy Grandpa Erik and Freyja Ström. Papa Ström isn’t happy to see that his son-in-law was defeated by a mermaid. - You can kind of think Erik Ström like a Tony Stark, running a shipping business to disguise his expertise in occult weaponry - something the Kaspers will need capture and kill the mermaid. - Freyja looks like a dainty lady, but she can pack a punch - especially if her family is in trouble. She and the Herr Doktor are childhood sweethearts, making them a couple nobody should mess with - that’s if anyone knows that they are a couple. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #lineart #halftone #animestyle #mangastyle #comic #originalcharacters #malecharacter #femalecharacter #father #daughter #fatheranddaughter #man #woman #mermay2019 #mermay

It’s poor Kimiko Abe the nursing student who gets bit by the mermaid.😭 Now the mermaid will have her beauty restored, also growing to human size as Kimiko’s doppelgänger. That’s not a good thing because there’s one man currently infatuated with Kimiko... - This one took FOREVER~ to color. Next page will most likely be black and white, but it’s still possible that I might make another colored one just because I can.😛 — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #lineart #halftone #animestyle #mangastyle #originalcharacters #malecharacters #man #boy #doctor #femalecharacters #girl #child #aquarium #mermaid #mermay2019 #mermay

Character Sheet: Cedrick and Tricia bickering as usual. - They’re not a cute couple as people often assume but rather behave more like siblings since Cedrick’s father and Tricia’s uncle work together; thus they have no choice but to see each other often. Tyrone wishes Tricia would like and date Cedrick, but Tricia has another boy from school in mind. Cedrick could care less about dating girls at his stage of life, but does occasionally get concerned for Tricia for making risky decisions affecting her well-being in the long run because he cares as a friend. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #characters #originalcharacters #malecharacter #femalecharacter #charactersheet #characterdesign #characterstudy #frauv8_ocs

Ouch. Then again, Tricia has always been mean towards Cedrick. But that’s why the mermaid is angry. Despite the mermaid’s hunger and desire to restore her beauty, Tricia isn’t a “pure maiden.” So who’s worthy of the mermaid’s bite? - I thought about coloring this, but again, I’m feeling lazy. Going back to the early 1990s when Freyja and Johannes Faustuz were kids. They were childhood sweethearts with Freyja as the prettiest girl in the class while Faustuz was the nerdy geek and teacher’s pet. - As an avid bookworm herself, Freyja would always sneak up behind Faustuz to see what new book he was reading; she would often look over his head and/or shoulder to read some of his books since she was so much taller. After a few years, Faustuz would grow up so tall that Freyja would slip in between his arms not only for an embrace but also to read along with him. Because of their love of literature, they named their son Cedrick after the main character of “Little Lord Fauntleroy” (different spelling to emphasize the name’s meaning). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #characters #originalcharacters #animestyle #mangastyle #femalecharacter #malecharacter #characterart #blond #redhair #redhead #boy #girl #children #kids #readingbook #glasses #halftone #blue #orange #pink #white

Random fact: it’s #nationallookalikeday today. I could of drawn twins, but I opted for a cute father-son pic. And this could of been a #fathersday pic, but meh. I can always repost it later. - Cedrick is pretty much a cut/copy and paste version of his father Johannes Faustuz, especially when he was younger with much shorter hair. But like with all copies, they’re never quite the same as the original. Both Kaspers have Heterochromia iridium in the right eye, but Papa has partial while Baby has complete. Faustuz is right-handed; Cedrick is a lefty like his mother Freyja. - Feel free to color in the @lineart - tag @frauv8 and #colorthis_fv8 so I can see your work. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #characters #originalcharacters #malecharacters #characterart #dad #father #son #baby #infant #babyboy #fatherandson #glasses #pinstripes #dots #halftone #blond #red #blue #frauv8_ocs

It’s #nationalhighfiveday, but Johannes Faustuz isn’t feeling very “Hans-y”. 😅(terrible joke) - I enjoy drawing my characters wearing fashionable clothing a lot (they dress better than me, lol), allowing me to play with different styles and colors. Both are wearing somewhat matching outfits with a bold spring/summer yellow/blue color scheme, and each guy has his own reaction to it. Hr. Dr. Kasper wears whatever his wife Freyja picks for him despite not liking the outfits (he prefers just his black scrubs or a simple solid color collared-shirt that’s often wrinkled, occasional neck tie, rolled-up khakis, and black shoes); Tyrone naturally chooses very bright colors and prints despite his wife Asia wanting him to tone it down. And yes, Faustuz is doing the #frenchtuck (holler back in the comments if you know what it is 😉). - Feel free to color the #lineart - tag @frauv8 and #colorthis_fv8 so I can see your work. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #originalcharacters #malecharacters #male #men #mensfashion #male #stripes #pattern #glasses #shirt #yellow #blue #green #teal #cyan #brown #red #white #black

Felt like making another one of these, this time with the two mamas. — Freyja Ström (Kasper) Supermodel/Magazine Editor/TV Host AGE: 39 DOB: 30 June♋️ HEIGHT: 170cm - 5’7” BLOOD TYPE: A •Freyja is a hardworking lady always trying to keep up with the latest trends in fashion and design. She is a woman of a rich and privileged upbringing, which makes her seem unapproachable to most when she’s more than happy to socialize with anyone. Freyja does everything she can to please everyone at work while trying to maintain a cheerful smile doing so. She highly values her private life, but with social media and the growing popularity of her TV show “FLASH FASHION”, it’s increasingly getting harder to hide her husband and son from attention. - Asia Williams Hairdresser/Jewelry Designer AGE: 34 DOB: 1 April♈️ HEIGHT: 165cm - 5’5” BLOOD TYPE: O •Impulsive and focused, Asia is a self-made woman of rural roots. She runs a hair and nail salon, but dreams of selling her homemade jewelry. Asia is a great cook, often bringing meals to her husband for lunch. She’s a big fan of Freyja’s TV show and wishes to be featured on it; little she knows that she does have connection to her through her husband’s coworkers. Asia has a toddler daughter whom she has her niece babysit while being busy with work and crafts. -- Asia doesn’t like Hr. Dr. Kasper much, but was surprised to hear him say her jewelry looked unique and his wife would most likely be interested in buying pieces from her. Like many people thinking his wife is dead, she waves him off. But the next day when she’s there to deliver lunch for Tyrone, Asia is shocked to see Freyja next to Faustuz greeting her with a handshake. From this encounter, Asia got two endorsements for her salon and jewelry, and an episode featuring her work. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #characters #originalcharacters #femalecharacters #charactersheet #characterart #characterdesign #female #women #yellow #red #blue

I’m still obsessed with simple textures and patterns with minimal color. Oh well. I also have the #lineart for anyone to color it - just tag me @frauv8 and #colorthisinyourstyle. - This time I drew Heinrich and Richard Kasper, Johannes Faustuz’s uncle and father. And they’re dressed like the 1980s at the peak of their careers. Heinrich is the older, darker-haired brother who is a shipping company businessman; Richard is five years younger, and is (no surprise) a doctor who travels to developing countries to volunteer during disasters. The two were extremely close growing up and always had drinks together whenever they had a chance to hang out as adults. But Richard suddenly dies overseas in Africa from an infection, leaving behind an infant son (at age 25). Heinrich adopts the boy and raises him along with his own children until he passes away from lung cancer (at age 41). Because of Heinrich’s death and being inspired by the stories about Richard’s work, both Johannes Faustuz and his older cousin Hansel pursued careers in medicine; Hansel became a nurse and Faustuz an oncologist. - Faustuz and his son Cedrick are often compared to these two brothers because of their physical similarities and the fact they work closely together. Faustuz looks very much like his uncle except for the build, height, and coloring (all which he takes after his father Richard). He also wears aviators in tribute to his uncle. Cedrick takes after his grandfather, so much that relatives often accidentally call him Richard. Cedrick has one thing in common with his grand-uncle: complete heterochromia iridium, or having odd-eyes (one green, one blue). — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #originalcharacters #malecharacters #brothers #smoking #smokingcigarette #blackandwhiteart #mangastyle #men #mensfashion #stripes #palmleaves #glasses #shirt #necktie #suspenders #blue #green #white #black #frauv8_ocs
