Sigrid and Richard in his true form as Death.

I had people thinking Richard is Sigrid’s father, but he’s not (Samuel Jörgensen is her father, who happened to be Denmark’s most powerful Warlock at the time).
He’s Death in human form for a limited time as a member of the Kasper Family (he’s an incarnation given a new body when a soulless stillborn child was born into the family he chooses).
His current incarnation isn’t quite old enough to be her father (he’d had to be a young teenager if so, making him more like an older brother or cousin - especially with Sigrid’s mother Aina initially treating him like if he’s a son; it also doesn’t help that he has very light blond hair that’s almost a silvery white, making him look old), but as an entity Death is hundreds of thousands years old.
Sigrid’s life curse is what made Fate send him to observe her and wait for the moment he can take her soul; but due to circumstances, Richard has grown fond of Sigrid and felt pity for her not being able to live a full life (Sigrid also slowly developed feelings for Richard despite knowing he’s her assigned Reaper and a member of the Kasper Family the occult community looks down at due to their checkered history).
Johannes (Hr. Dr. Kasper) is the result of their taboo relationship, and he’s not very fond of the fact his mother was so young nor happy people expect him to be just as powerful as his father (he’s only half of whatever Death is as an entity).

As a young Warlock, Samuel demanded the pub owner to release Aina as his wife despite the warnings that she’s Wicca; Samuel was mesmerized with Aina’s albinism, charm, and beauty, believing all these traits were what he wanted for his future children - especially for a firstborn son.
However, since he ignored the warnings about Wicca, his firstborn was a daughter - and not even an Enchantress due to Aina being directly descended from an ancient matriarchal Wicca bloodline (meaning her firstborn will always be a Witch, Wicca class).
Samuel was so disappointed in having a daughter unable to cast spells without activation potions, viewing her as useless; when Sigrid was finally brought home from the hospital, that’s when Samuel took the opportunity to place a curse on his own daughter.
Aina quickly took her daughter away before her life was completely drained out, leaving poor Sigrid less than 20 years to live; ever since the curse was placed, Aina and Sigrid have been living apart from Samuel in their flower shop located in Copenhagen.
Samuel also moved on to marrying a second wife named Sarah (who happens to be the Enchantress academy’s headmistress) and finally having a son named Torben.
He only tolerates Sigrid’s existing knowing she doesn’t have long to live, Sarah being fond of having a stepdaughter physically resembling him, and Torben having a “free babysitter” despite being almost old enough to stay home alone (he’s ten years old).
Samuel has been surprised to see that his daughter inherited his magical potential, but doesn’t regret casting his life curse on her; the other surprise is that he didn’t expect Sigrid to develop a relationship with her assigned Grim Reaper Richard Kasper (whom, like most of the elite occult community, sees Kaspers as opportunistic uncultured brutes who’d take any job just to get into upper level society).

If 2006, that means he’s a teenager right now; if 2017, then he’ll be a teenager in the 2030s (the original concept setting).
In either scenario, both of his parents remain as Millennials (originally I planned Johannes to be 45 and Freyja 39 in the 2030s; my OCs don’t have official ages but age ranges to keep up with the times).
Also, it’s kinda been continuous thing that nobody knows exactly how old Richard was when he was human (except for himself and his immediate family).
Sigrid figured he was much older than her (at least eight years older to twice her age, 23-35 years old), but was shocked that his true age as Death was actually 10,000X more than she thought.
Nowadays Richard and Sigrid would never be allowed to date with their age gap, but given their circumstances as a girl with a life curse and Death only having several years left to live it’s a bit of a romantic yet tragic backstory to Johannes’ origins.

Vinnie / Semiformal
(another term being thrown out to describe a less formal but more dressy casual look is “Smart Casual”)
Vincent-Claude is a Biology/Anthology university professor who often goes out on digs to examine and confirm human specimens; if he’s away, Vinnie has Hr. Dr. Kasper substitute for him (he knows Johannes through his father Leyon, the hospital director).
Vinnie is French, a descendant of Pied-Noirs, speaks with a thick accent, and has terrible habits of smoking and flirting with women - particularly the Kaspers’ nurse Kimiko and his student Tricia.
Vinnie is also close in age with Johannes and Tyrone, often being the third wheel in their post-work bar trips for beer and games.

Richard Kasper with his older brother Heinrich and their younger half-sister Sabrina (mother’s daughter, not a Kasper), circa 1981.
Heinrich was the oldest, a no-nonsense businessman, and originally was the heir of the Kasper’s bloodline until he broke off his betrothal (to Freyja’s mother Sonja) and married Yoko instead.
Despite no longer being the heir, Heinrich was the favorite child of both parents and adored by his younger siblings and family due to his calm and collected temperament.
Heinrich adopted Johannes after Richard returned to his true form as Death, raising him alongside with his own children Hansel and Hannah.
His only vice was chain smoking to ease his nerves, which eventually led to his death from lung cancer in the 1990s.
Sabrina was born a few years after their mother Ida had left the Kasper Family for an American soldier in the 1950s; she grew up spoiled and had little interest in her older siblings, especially with Richard (they both look like their mother and had similar temperaments).
She’s a few years older than Sigrid, but acted much younger with an impulsive temper and need for attention (she also thought Sigrid was a “boring ugly Wicca schoolgirl”, adding to the ire between herself and her second older half-brother).
Sabrina became a lawyer, and has done well with her straightforward and blunt way of taking; lately she’s been hoping to reconnect with her extended family, especially hearing that her nephew has been living in Los Angeles with a famous wife.

Hr. Dr. Kasper was raised alongside with his older cousins after his father Richard “passed away” before he was 4; because of their large age gaps (Hansel was 8 years older, Hannah was 6 years older) and having blond hair with odd eyes (his cousins were half Asian), he always felt left out and alienated growing up (he did manage to learn Japanese and some Korean, allowing him to listen into his older siblings and aunt’s conversations).
Both Hansel and Hannah thought of Johannes as a pest, especially since they see him as the reason why their beloved aunt Sigrid died (they never knew about her life curse until many years later).
As adults, the three had grown very close - especially since the death of Heinrich (Hansel & Hannah’s father/Richard’s older brother); the two older cousins would hug their younger sibling whenever they feel the void of their father’s death because Johannes has a resemblance to him.
When in Kiel, Hansel works alongside Hr. Dr. Kasper as his nurse at the hospital; when his younger cousin is away, Hansel picks up the responsibilities as a Grim Reaper in mainly North Europe.
Hannah spends most of her time away from the occult and mythical running her restaurants as a master chef, but in occasion will chime in giving family status updates when she’s at home with Tante Yoko.

It’s been a bit of a trope to have at least one boy amongst a group of girls when it comes to fashion-related stuff (especially fashion doll lines); I have no idea why that’s so, but it just is.
I got Gen Z(oomer) OCs featured this time all dressed up in the latest trends inspired from the late 1990s thru early 2000s (back when I was a tween myself 😬).
Kiya says she’s 15-16 (she’s the Great-Grandniece of the Slavic legend Baba Yaga, so she’s actually a lot older than 16), Cedrick is 14-16, Tricia is 18-20, and Carmen is 17-19.

We finally get an epilogue with these two buds after years being isolated due to COVID-19: they’re back to hanging out at the bar after work!🍻
And it starts off the usual drama that occurs whenever they’re out, especially when Vinnie is around (Vincent-Claude is their boss’ son and Tyrone’s niece Tricia’s Biology/Anthropology professor; whenever he’s doing other work, Hr. Dr. Kasper substitutes for him).
All three are close in age (Millennials born in the 1980s in their mid-late 30s, pushing 40) and spend a lot of time together whenever their personal lives get too stressful.

• Richard enjoys new technology whenever it comes out, especially with his true self being an entity existing over hundreds of thousands of years (Death loves watching mankind struggle to survive and progress, hoping one day it’ll become a challenge to collect their souls).
As a teenager, Sigrid is also drawn to anything new and exciting - and Richard’s Walkman has definitely caught her attention (only thing is that she hates listening to his Disco music from the 70s; Sigrid is a fan of 80s Synth-Pop & New Romance).
• In occasions, Sigrid likes taking and using some of Richard’s belongings like she’s a nosy little sister (especially if it’s tech and media related).
Richard finds it more cute than annoying knowing Sigrid’s only curious about him and his stuff (as for his actual younger half-sister Sabrina, he hates how intrusive she is because she does so on purpose to infuriate him; Sabrina also despised Sigrid, calling her a “ugly and plain Wicca flower girl”).
• Because of their large age gap, people initially didn’t see Sigrid and Richard as a couple (something they took advantage of at first since her school prohibited dating).
But as time passed by, it became more apparent that the two were extremely close and always seen together; it was officially confirmed when classmates caught them kissing at the arcade and reported it to their homeroom teacher, leading to Sigrid’s expulsion from the academy (the headmistress was reluctant to expel her since Sigrid was the academy’s top student and her stepdaughter; Sigrid could only stay if she gave up her relationship with Richard, but she refused).
Since she was forced to drop out of school, Sigrid focused on her family life by continuing working with her mother Aina at their flower shop and marrying Richard, leading up to the birth of their son Johannes and her death soon after.
