Something I drew two years ago - three teenage OCs Cedrick Kasper, Tricia Williams, and Carmen Rodriguez. I forget how a lot of my old pics had vibrant colors. I need to try drawing more pics with this kind of color scheme and clean line art again - but with a lot more pop and pow to it. I’ve been way too lazy…😭 - I also try to keep my cast of characters diverse (especially younger ones like these three), but I still occasionally get a bit nervous about drawing certain ethnic groups because of past experiences. When I was getting more serious about my art as a young teenager, I had peers first complain that I draw only Anime and White people; so when I started drawing other ethnicities as well, the same people then said “You’re not Black or Hispanic - you shouldn’t draw what you ain’t!” •Me [I’m White/Asian]: “Then WTF am I supposed to draw?! Of course I’m going to mostly draw White people because that’s how I was raised and treated as! I draw Anime because I grew up watching it and it’s one of the mainstream Asian products I had access to! And of course I’m not Black or Hispanic, but those groups exist too!”🤦🏻‍♀️ Ugh… Seriously… I’m scarred for life because of crap like that, but now I just draw whatever I feel comfortable with, and if it looks better using a character with a different ethnicity, then so be it. (Nowadays I’m probably not inclusive enough - comment below your opinions) And that’s my advice to anyone who wants to be an artist - draw anyone and everything to be more diverse and inclusive. If anyone gives you hell about it, say “Fine - I’ll draw everyone else but you” (seriously - don’t say that out loud because it’s really mean and implies that they don’t deserve to exist, but we’re at a point society doesn’t need people who still think others should be separated and excluded just because of physical and cultural differences; it’s why the world is such a mess in the first place). Sigrid and Richard wearing complimentary outfits for their summer date at the arcade. - I’ve been having way too much fun drawing retro clothes; I actually had a suggestion to draw a late 1990s/early 2000s look featuring electronics like TAMAGOTCHI, so I’ll have to do some research…🧐 — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #drawing #femalecharacter #malecharacter #originalcharacterart #originalcharacters #frauv8_ocs #man #girl #clothing #shirt #shorts #shoes #purse #socks #glasses #acessories #fashion #1980sfashion #retrostyle #red #blue #green #pink #yellow

I’m gonna be fully vaccinated with my second dose of Moderna - yay! So far, I can tell I’m going to have a super sore arm again (some movements are starting to feel slightly uncomfortable), but I won’t know for sure until tomorrow. I’m still going to wear my masks because my work conditions don’t allow for proper social distancing, and better safe than sorry - especially indoors wherever I can’t maintain distance from other people (the “honor system” is BS here in America - I trust NOBODY after of all the crap the previous POTUS had said and done, and lots people will do and say whatever to not follow the rules regardless of the consequences). - Anyway… In this short, Cedrick can finally be vaccinated like his papa - yay! (but he still wants his driver’s permit at 14, lol; kids 12-15 can be vaccinated now). — #malecharacter #boy #man #originalcharacters #frauv8_ocs #autodesksketchbook #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #vaccinationdone✔️

A different art style, something retro that resembles anime of the 1980s/1990s (like “SAILOR MOON”). The primary color scheme says LEGO bucket and blocks too, lol. It’s one version of an idea I had for these two; I might post the other version later depending on opinions and how motivated I feel about finishing it. (I’ve been really burned out from work last week; I’m also suffering from Artist’s Block, and my drawing hand and wrist are hurting again) — #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #drawing #animestyle #retro #retroanime #retroanimeaesthetic #originalcharacterart #originalcharacters #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #1980s #arcade #arcademachine #red #blue #green #yellow

Something from the “Scrap Pile”: Sigrid’s Diary: 30 June 1980, the start of a long Summer of love. - Richard and Sigrid were officially a couple for several months at this point, but they tried to kept their relationship secret mainly because Sigrid attended an all-girls academy that prohibits dating (people were also wary of Richard constantly staying in a house where a single mother and her daughter lived in). This was the longest time Richard stayed with Sigrid and her mother Aina after traveling, which was a great help with hundreds of plants growing in the greenhouse and a large litter of Tatzelwurms trying to invade the backyard again. Richard also spent a lot of time trying to develop new medicine for his patients abroad using Aina’s rare plants - many resulting in failure or being too potent (he actually made a Tatzelwurm repellent that lasted a few days, the base his son Johannes Faustuz would use to make finally one that lasted indefinitely). Sigrid and Richard spent each night of July and August either stargazing in the backyard with the cats Hedy and Odin, walking around the empty streets holding hands, watching movies/TV shows, singing and dancing along with the radio and old Disco records (Death’s favorite music is Disco), sleeping together in her bedroom, or playing the latest video games at the arcade (where classmates randomly saw Sigrid being romantic with Richard). Richard eventually went back to Kiel in September, promising Sigrid he’ll be back as soon as he finishes work at his office. But within a week, he rushed back to Copenhagen after hearing news of Sigrid’s expulsion from school. __ #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #originalcharacters #frauv8ocs #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #plants

It feels a bit off… I think it’s a combination of my brushes being too fat and being tired/lazy this round…😓 I’ve been feeling burnt out, and my right wrist has been hurting lately…😖 And yes, that’s my actual handwriting - I still write in cursive unlike most people my age and younger (it’s a lost art and great for calligraphy). - •Miya Chinen Sk8 the Infinity •Saitama One Punch Man •Rock Lee Naruto •Tenya Iida My Hero Academia •Faust VIII Shaman King •Fushi To Your Eternity — #sixfanarts #sixfanart #sixfanartchallenge #fanart #animestyle #sk8theinfinity #miyachinen #onepunchman #saitama #naruto #narutoshippuden #rocklee #myheroacademia #tenyaiida #shamanking #faustviii #toyoureternity #fushi #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #malecharacter #man #boy #frauv8 #animeart #anime

Delivery for Sigrid! … except she’s not happy with who came with it. Actually… She’ll be eating him as well.💀 - Sigrid wasn’t always the nicest to Richard when they first met, especially knowing his past as a playboy, being a Kasper/Grim Reaper, and his age (Sigrid calls him an “old man”, but he’s not old - just older like a brother or cousin). But deep down inside, Sigrid had always liked him and wanted to have him for herself. — #autodesksketchbook #femalecharacter #malecharacter #couple #man #girl #characterart #originalcharacters #frauv8_ocs #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #comic #sketchdump #animestyle

Another OC fashion pic. - Tyrone Williams likes wearing bright colors and loud patterns whenever he’s not working at the hospital with Hr. Dr. Kasper. It’s hard to say which “Daddy Doctor” looks better because Tyrone and Johannes Faustuz are about the same age (both are Millennials born in the 1980s, so they’re not that old) and their wives both have good taste in picking out their outfits (if it’s up to Tyrone and Faustuz, they’d wear their scrubs and tracksuits all the time, lol). — #autodesksketchbook #ipaddrawing #digitalart #digitaldrawing #malecharacter #man #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #frauv8_ocs #characterdesign #characterart #animestyle #fashion #clothes #fashionstyle #collaredshirt #pants #green #orange #red #blue

I think I’m showing my age drawing Tricia wearing a 23 Chicago Bulls jersey...😅 (one of my school field trips as a kid was watching a documentary about Michael Jordan on IMAX - that’s how big of a deal he was back in the day; same can be said about Shaq) — #autodesksketchbook #ipaddrawing #digitalart #digitaldrawing #femalecharacter #originalcharacter #originalcharacterart #animestyle #frauv8_ocs #characterdesign #characterart #fashion #clothes #fashionstyle #chicagobulls #red #white #black #afropuffs #tshirt #jersey #leggings #socks #boots #earrings

I have way too much fun drawing pics like this - it’s no secret that I love drawing clothes on my OCs. It’s like playing with paper dolls, only digital. Only question is would anyone want to wear this outfit? - 2nd slide shows the inspiration: a colorful 1980s collared linen shirt. — #autodesksketchbook #characterdesign #characterart #originalcharacter #frauv8_ocs #man #malecharacter #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing #fashion #mensfashion #clothing #mensclothing #fashionstyle

Brief character notes about Hr. Dr. Kasper compared to his parents Richard and Sigrid. - Both parents died when he was very young, so he prefers not to talk about them for lots of reasons. He does remember his father Richard singing him to sleep as a toddler, but nothing else. Which parent does he resembles the most? People say he’s spitting image of his father Richard, but his grandmother Aina says he takes after his mother Sigrid. — #femalecharacter #malecharacter #man #girl #parents #characterart #characterdesign #originalcharacters #frauv8_ocs #originalcharacterart #characterdesign #charactersheet #characterstudy #autodesksketchbook #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipaddrawing
