Ouch. Then again, Tricia has always been mean towards Cedrick. But that’s why the mermaid is angry. Despite the mermaid’s hunger and desire to restore her beauty, Tricia isn’t a “pure maiden.” So who’s worthy of the mermaid’s bite? - I thought about coloring this, but again, I’m feeling lazy. Perhaps I’ll make character sheets next for a change of pace. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #halftone #black #white #grey #gray #blackandwhite #blackandwhiteart #lineart #mangastyle #originalcharacters #malecharacter #doctor #man #mermaid #mermay2019 #mermay

But seriously Tricia - there is a mermaid right behind you. — Patricia “Tricia” Williams is Queenie’s older cousin who lives with Queenie, Tyrone, and Asia. She doesn’t like Johannes Faustuz or his son Cedrick, thinking they’re both dorky, lack style, and makes fun of their accents. She also has a bad habit of rubbing people the wrong way by insulting them at first meeting. But despite her attitude problem and chips on her shoulders, Tricia is loyal to whoever she deems worthy. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #halftone #black #white #grey #gray #blackandwhite #blackandwhiteart #mangastyle #originalcharacters #malecharacter #man #femalecharacters #girl #child #aquarium #mermaid #mermay2019 #mermay

A break from the “Meerjungfrau” series (I’m finally able to remember how to spell “Mermaid” in German - yay!). Time for something cute and fun. - May 3rd is #twodifferentcoloredshoesday. 👞👟 And Cedrick is really proud of himself, lol. Papa Kasper is either impressed that his son actually made an effort to wear the same kind of shoes, or is ashamed seeing his son still unable to dress himself properly. - Cedrick is always in a hurry and tired, so most of the time he forgets to check his socks and shoes before putting them on. Often it’s a slipper on one foot and a laced shoe on the other because he only has time to tie laces for one shoe. - Me? I used to have mismatched socks all the time (like one pink and one green). But after buying only black and grey socks in only one brand in recent years, it saves you a lot of time in the morning not thinking about what color to wear - especially when they don’t show anyway. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #characters #chibi #originalcharacters #animestyle #mangastyle #malecharacters #blond #glasses #halftone #blue #red #shoes #adidasshoes #nationaltwodifferentcoloredshoesday

#mermay is just around the corner. Do I plan to draw a mermaid/merman every day of May? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😫 My Gawd NO. I nearly went insane last year drawing so many of them. But~ I did have an all-time favorite MerMay pic from last year: Doktor Kasper’s mummified mermaid in a jar (swipe to last slide), so this year I might do a series of pics/comic pages on it (hopefully not one everyday🤦🏻‍♀️). Here’s a test/sneak peek with Queenie Williams intrigued by the creature. Whether it’s real or not, dead or alive... we’ll see soon enough. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #halftone #black #white #grey #gray #blackandwhite #blackandwhiteart #mangastyle #originalcharacter #femalecharacter #girl #child #jar

It’s #nationalhighfiveday, but Johannes Faustuz isn’t feeling very “Hans-y”. 😅(terrible joke) - I enjoy drawing my characters wearing fashionable clothing a lot (they dress better than me, lol), allowing me to play with different styles and colors. Both are wearing somewhat matching outfits with a bold spring/summer yellow/blue color scheme, and each guy has his own reaction to it. Hr. Dr. Kasper wears whatever his wife Freyja picks for him despite not liking the outfits (he prefers just his black scrubs or a simple solid color collared-shirt that’s often wrinkled, occasional neck tie, rolled-up khakis, and black shoes); Tyrone naturally chooses very bright colors and prints despite his wife Asia wanting him to tone it down. And yes, Faustuz is doing the #frenchtuck (holler back in the comments if you know what it is 😉). - Feel free to color the #lineart - tag @frauv8 and #colorthis_fv8 so I can see your work. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipaddrawing #ipadart #originalcharacters #malecharacters #male #men #mensfashion #male #stripes #pattern #glasses #shirt #yellow #blue #green #teal #cyan #brown #red #white #black

#mothersday is just around the corner~ - I don’t draw Cedrick with Freyja that often, especially as a teenager/young adult; mostly him as a baby or child. And often times people think Freyja is his girlfriend, not his mother. 🤣😅🤦🏻‍♀️ Also doesn’t help that Cedrick looks just like his father, only smaller, younger, and with much shorter hair. - Feel free to color the #lineart - just tag me @frauv8 and #colorthisinyourstyle. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #drawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #characters #originalcharacters #malecharacter #femalecharacter #mother #son #motherson #blue #green

I saw this first thing on my news feed this morning, and I had to draw it.🤣 There’s only one character of mine bold enough to wear one of those awful things for the sake of fashion, and it’s Freyja in supermodel mode. And no~ way her husband (like most of us) approves. - I remember designer dirty jeans and plastic-paneled jeans being in the news for being overpriced sold-out fashion fads, and the “jeantie”/“jantie” is the next horrible thing done to denim. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadprodrawing #ipadart #ipaddrawing #drawing #originalcharacters #originalcharacterart #characters #malecharacter #femalecharacter #couple #fashionmistake #jeantie #janties #jantie

My husband @massivedamageart wanted me to randomly draw one of my characters fantasy-style with a dinosaur, and this is the result. Poor Cedrick trying to be nice with Tricia this time now that he knows she plays the same app he plays when he’s not busy. - Normally these two don’t get along with Tricia always ditching babysitting duty, and Cedrick having to help her with homework and babysitting in her place. Tricia also refers Cedrick as either “Dutch Boy” or “Dork” because of his appearance, awkwardness, and being a few years younger than her. Cedrick doesn’t think much of her other than being a bully and lazy, but also full of potential if she can get her act together for a sports scholarship (she’s a great volleyball player). Maybe they’ll get along later in life, but until then as teenagers, there’s room to grow up. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #originalcharacters #autodesksketchbook #teenagers #onthephone #teengirl #teenboy

“Where’d you go?” - Freyja with two heaping servings of her “Kraken Surprise” for her husband and son, who are trying their best to hide from her. - So what’s in her infamous meal besides giant squid tentacles? Freyja often adds in frozen TV dinners, bratwurst, mashed cauliflower, lingonberry jam, and all kinds of questionable food items. Rarely it tastes good, but 99% of the time it’ll lead to upset stomach and vomiting. - It’s not a good #drawing, but it’s something to break up the silence. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #originalcharacters #family #motherfatherson #dinner #dinnergonewrong

Happy Valentine’s Day! 💕 - Hope you enjoy your valentines and spending time with your significant others this year. If you can’t spend time with your significant others, don’t forget to send them a message if you can. Just be careful to not give them nosebleeds and crack their screens or glasses doing so, lol. - This is a more detailed remake of the last panel of my previous post - poor Hr. Dr. Kasper got a surprise text from his wife while working. 😅 I wanted to make it look like a manga panel with the #halftone texture, but with a hint of color as well. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #ipadproart #ipadrodrawing #mangastyle #originalcharacter #malecharacter #blond #glasses #doctor #nosebleed #valentinesday2019 #valentinesday #valentine

Just a quick random #doodle #comic. - I plan to redraw the last panel by itself for a Valentine’s Day pic. I don’t think I’d draw what his wife sent him - let’s leave that to imagination, lol. — #digitaldrawing #digitaldoodle #originalcharacter #malecharacter #onthephone

Poor Cedrick stuck taking care of Tobias and Queenie while Carmen and Tricia skip out from babysitting duty. (I know the feeling - I used to watch over other people’s kids when I was a youngster. Most kiddos were good, but a few did make me want to tear my hair out in frustration.) - Couldn’t decide whether I wanted #glasses or no glasses on Cedrick, so I have both versions. As usual, Cedrick is wearing something with “the brand with the three stripes” (it’s based off an actual Adidas sweater), and still has a trendy #bowlcut. Tobias has a #buzzcut hairstyle, while Queenie has #afropigtails as usual. - Cedrick is often stuck being a “boysitter” and doesn’t like being around other kids despite being a kid himself. As for Tobias and Queenie, they love being around Cedrick since he’s often much nicer to them compared to their older siblings. — #digitalart #digitaldrawing #autodesksketchbook #sketchbookautodesk #originalcharacters #malecharacter #children #teenager #teenageboy #boys #girl #babysitter #babysitting #sweaters #purple #green #pink
