Sigrid has a bad habit of forgetting a coat wherever she goes outside, especially when she’s in a rush to school (she’s not very cold while running, and uses a heating potion that’s useful only one way going to school - her schoolmates would often steal or break the bottle so she’ll be cold after classes are finished).
If she’s lucky, Richard would be around at the academy afterwards to give her his coat and drive her the rest of the way whether it be home at her mother’s flower shop, the local arcade owned by Batty’s father, or at the university’s library where she could wait and study while her boyfriend is working.

In occasion she does wear other clothes, often summer dresses she makes herself and current fashion trends of the 1980s; for special events at the academy, Sigrid wears gowns and traditional attire she and fellow Witches wear (such as pointy hats and anything with woven black lace and embroidery).
Richard wears a range of clothing mostly from the 1970s - he’s a decade behind in fashion due to his ruined financial situation and frugal sensibilities (his ex-fiancée Shelia spent his entire allowance from his family and his personal savings, forcing him to close his medical practice and declare bankruptcy; he currently works at the university as a Researcher/Epidemiologist and “Handyman for hire” if he’s not busy dealing with rogue monsters and wandering souls).
Sigrid has a life curse close to effect, occasionally triggering a transformation and strong desire to rip out her soul (he transforms into his true skeletal form as Death usually at night - especially in the presence of someone who has a soul marked for him to collect personally).
Since meeting Sigrid, he’s slowly updating his wardrobe to impress his girlfriend and not fall behind with the times (often it’s her picking out new outfits for him to wear, sometimes even making him new clothes herself).

Being back at Del Mar made me draw something “Beachy” despite not being hot and Summer anymore.
And this song always makes me think of a retro beach party, lol (it was either this song, something by the Beach Boys, or some Surf Rock, but this song is way more fun and matches the time period these two OCs were from).

Sigrid and Richard in his true form as Death.

I had people thinking Richard is Sigrid’s father, but he’s not (Samuel Jörgensen is her father, who happened to be Denmark’s most powerful Warlock at the time).
He’s Death in human form for a limited time as a member of the Kasper Family (he’s an incarnation given a new body when a soulless stillborn child was born into the family he chooses).
His current incarnation isn’t quite old enough to be her father (he’d had to be a young teenager if so, making him more like an older brother or cousin - especially with Sigrid’s mother Aina initially treating him like if he’s a son; it also doesn’t help that he has very light blond hair that’s almost a silvery white, making him look old), but as an entity Death is hundreds of thousands years old.
Sigrid’s life curse is what made Fate send him to observe her and wait for the moment he can take her soul; but due to circumstances, Richard has grown fond of Sigrid and felt pity for her not being able to live a full life (Sigrid also slowly developed feelings for Richard despite knowing he’s her assigned Reaper and a member of the Kasper Family the occult community looks down at due to their checkered history).
Johannes (Hr. Dr. Kasper) is the result of their taboo relationship, and he’s not very fond of the fact his mother was so young nor happy people expect him to be just as powerful as his father (he’s only half of whatever Death is as an entity).

Kimiko Abe is Hr. Dr. Kasper’s nurse at the hospital he works at in Los Angeles (his cousin Hansel is his nurse at his hometown Kiel).
Kimiko is from Yokohama, and the oldest of four girls; she’s very sweet, polite, and kind - but on the flip side she’s very klutzy and follows her doctor everywhere at the hospital to avoid getting lost (if he’s too busy, she’ll follow Cedrick, Fatima, or Tyrone instead).
She initially wasn’t thrilled about being paired up with Johannes when she first arrived (she actually expected someone Asian like herself), but was surprised and relieved to know her doctor is fluent with Japanese and can help her with paperwork and phrasing (Kimiko still struggles a lot with English; Hr. Dr. Kasper’s second language after German is actually Japanese [his aunt Yoko is half Japanese, half Korean], followed by Danish, English, some Korean, and bits of French and Spanish).
Kimiko over time has developed great respect for Johannes, calling him the triple honorific “Herr Doktor-San”; as for Cedrick, she despises him whenever he takes attention away from her doctor and outdoes her in daily tasks such as drawing blood and giving shots (she’s also jealous that he’s a Wunderkind and graduated school earlier than she did).
Kimiko currently has no romantic interests; she had developed a slight crush on Johannes, but it didn’t last long after learning he was happily married and has a son.
Staff often teases her whenever she’s around Cedrick since he’s the closest to her age (she’s 20-22, over six years older than him), but she loudly proclaimed that she prefers “older men”.

Have to admit it was fun researching 1980s wedding gowns for this pic.
In a way, this is a redraw of an old pic of Sigrid and Richard getting married; Sigrid’s dress now is definitely 1980s compared to her old one (it’s still 1980s but very simple compared to what most people think of 1980s wedding gowns like Princess Diana’s and Ariel’s).
And if you compare Richard with his older brother Heinrich, they look so much alike with slicked hair - only Richard is Ash/Platinum blond and Heinrich is Dishwater Blond.

Sigrid / Formal
Sigrid Faustus-Jörgensen is one of my OCs set in the 1980s (hence the pink frilly gown she’s wearing here), the daughter of an albino Wicca and Denmark’s most powerful Warlock.
Her father cursed her soon after her birth, disappointed she wasn’t the son he wanted and not even an Enchantress (the class of Witches who don’t require potions to activate their magical powers, unlike the class of Wicca who rely on potions); she was to die before adulthood and her stolen lifespan was transferred to extend her father’s.
Despite being Wicca, Sigrid became the top student in her class due to her inherited power from her father.
Cursed with a limited lifespan, she had difficulty making friends amongst classmates; even her childhood crush Batty dismissed her as “not worth his time”.
Being isolated made her very attentive to plants she grew for her mother’s flower shop and play video games daily at the local arcade (Sigrid would often refer to her plants as “her children”).
Sigrid’s soul was also marked to be collected by Death Himself when her time was finally up; with 2-5 years left to live, Europe’s top Reaper arrived to observe and wait until he can take her soul on Death’s behalf.
Initially Sigrid didn’t like Richard based on his playboy reputation and violent methods of killing mythical monsters, and she did figure out that his true identity as Death Himself, but after almost a year later the pair were inseparable and deeply in love.

Sigrid / Formal
Sigrid Faustus-Jörgensen is one of my OCs set in the 1980s (hence the pink frilly gown she’s wearing here), the daughter of an albino Wicca and Denmark’s most powerful Warlock.
Her father cursed her soon after her birth, disappointed she wasn’t the son he wanted and not even an Enchantress (the class of Witches who don’t require potions to activate their magical powers, unlike the class of Wicca who rely on potions); she was to die before adulthood and her stolen lifespan was transferred to extend her father’s.
Despite being Wicca, Sigrid became the top student in her class due to her inherited power from her father.
Cursed with a limited lifespan, she had difficulty making friends amongst classmates; even her childhood crush Batty dismissed her as “not worth his time”.
Being isolated made her very attentive to plants she grew for her mother’s flower shop and play video games daily at the local arcade (Sigrid would often refer to her plants as “her children”).
Sigrid’s soul was also marked to be collected by Death Himself when her time was finally up; with 2-5 years left to live, Europe’s top Reaper arrived to observe and wait until he can take her soul on Death’s behalf.
Initially Sigrid didn’t like Richard based on his playboy reputation and violent methods of killing mythical monsters, and she did figure out that his true identity as Death Himself, but after almost a year later the pair were inseparable and deeply in love.

Back to the 1980s when men’s neckties were wide and women’s shoulders were big.
(Seriously, I don’t understand the appeal of puffy sleeves and shoulder pads - it’s not a very flattering look for the most part)
It’s not often Sigrid has her hair styled up into a ponytail and wearing something that’s not her school uniform, but when she got the chance to wear stuff not school related she went all out (she made her own dresses based off latest trends).
Richard, on the other hand, was slow to change his style set from the 1970s (he was very frugal about spending money on new clothes, especially since his breakup with his ex-fiancée Sheila).
